Can Ganassa

Great small tapas bar in Barceloneta on the way to the beach. Good food and very pleasant staff. We went a few times during our stay and were warmly welcomed each time. A great place to sit and have a drink or something to eat.

We just dropped by and had cold beer and some tapas here. The service was very friendly, and I really enjoyed chatting with our waitress. The warm hospitality and delicious food made it a perfect place :) Arigato!

This restaurant is tucked away in the skinny streets leading away from Barceloneta beach. There are two restaurants located across from one another in a plaza that look over a church. A hidden, peaceful area that lends itself more to the locals than the tourists. It was so nice sitting outdoors in the plaza, eating paella and looking at a cathedral. Very attentive service and wonderful food. As I said, we had paella with chicken, ate some wonderful mediterranean olives, and enjoyed a romantic afternoon in padded chairs (the other restaurant across the way had hard chairs). Highly recommend the hospitality and great food of this tucked away gem.

We shared nice tapas in this restaurant, and while we were initially not expecting much, the quality of their food, especially the taste, was surprising us with excellence. The prices are relatively low compared to other restaurants in the vicinity, and they offer a nice variety of drinks and tapas. Bonus points for the waiter trying to talk in German after hearing a German accent in our Spanish, but its us who should have tried harder 😝

After the change of ownership, it's become my favorite place for tapas and beer. I'm sure I'm not the only one, judging by the number of customers. The service is fantastic, especially the waiter, Miguel.

Very nice restaurant to sit outside next to the sea (no view on the sea bit very near). The seafood was very fresh and the Pulpo Gallego was tender and delicious. The staff is friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. Try the scallops, they are amazing.

Absolutely great and quick service! Perfect Spot to have some tapas

The service at this place wasnt good. We ordred paellas and a burger, but only recieved the paellas. The paella cost 19€ pr person and did not taste that great. We also ordred sangria with the paella and this tasted really good.
