Day Trips in Toronto

"Canada’s Wonderland is technically in Toronto, but because of its location 25 miles north in the suburbs, it qualifies as a day trip for those staying in the city center. You can reach it by car or public transit in an hour, and a visit to the park is a good option for families. Wonderland is Canada’s largest theme park and includes a water park as well as an entire area dedicated to Canadian-themed rides. Called Frontier Canada, this part of the park is a fun way to learn some basic Canadian history. Keep in mind that the park is closed from November to May for the winter. The park is well equipped with many lunch options, and for those who prefer to pack their own food, there are designated picnic areas." - MATADOR_NETWORK

This is a beautiful park with something for everyone. They have a huge variety of flat rides, coasters and shows. The ride operations were very good. The employees were friendly and helpful. There is a pretty good variety of food options. The two days we visited it was very crowded, so be prepared to stand in long lines or purchase a fast pass.

We love Canada's Wonderland! I used to go ever year with my family and it's still a great tradition if you have kids or love thrill coasters. The kiddie land has lots to do for little ones too and although my daughter isn't tall enough for many rides at 3 she was still able to get a full day in of rides and activities. Keep an eye out for animals you might find some surprises like we did.

Great place for a fun day out! Lots of thrilling rides like Leviathan and Yukon Striker, plus family-friendly options and a water park. Clean, well-managed, and good food choices. Expect long lines—Fast Lane is worth it on busy days.

Amazing as someone who lives in London it’s like a mini vacation! Getting the Gold Membership at Canada’s Wonderland was the best decision we made this year. It gave us unlimited access to the park for the entire season. The drive there is a few hours but it’s so worth it One of the highlights was having access to both Halloween Haunt and WinterFest. Those events are so magical and completely transform the park into something out of a movie. Being able to go without buying extra tickets made it feel like such a good value. Early entry on select days was another favorite perk. Getting into the park before the crowds and hopping on the big coasters without long waits was such a great way to start the day. It made the whole visit feel more relaxed and less rushed. We also really appreciated the discounts on food and merchandise. Whether it was grabbing lunch between rides or picking up something cute from the gift shops, the savings added up quickly and made the whole experience more so much affordable!

An unforgettable experience! Canada’s Wonderland is hands down one of the best amusement parks I’ve ever been to! From thrilling roller coasters like Leviathan and Yukon Striker to the fun-filled water park and family-friendly attractions, there’s something for everyone. The park is clean, well-organized, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The energy is incredible, and the live entertainment adds a special touch to the whole experience. Whether you’re visiting with friends or family, it’s a perfect day out. Highly recommend grabbing a Fast Lane pass to skip the lines and make the most of your visit. Can’t wait to go back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing day at Canada’s Wonderland! From the heart-pounding roller coasters to the fun family-friendly attractions, it was the perfect adventure for our family. My husband loved the thrilling rides, our teen had a blast at the festivals, and I enjoyed the beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere. The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We also loved the variety of events throughout the year, and we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun day out with the family. Can’t wait to come back! 🎢💙

Always a fun time no matter the age. Lots to do depending on your like of rides, tame to wild. All ages are good with sections dedicated to younger children and one of the best water parks around included in your admission. A season pass is worth it even if you're just visiting once because you can buy "friend" passes for only 25$

I had such a great time at Canada’s Wonderland! The rides were thrilling, especially Leviathan — definitely worth the wait. The park was clean, staff were friendly, and everything felt well organized. Food was a bit pricey, but that’s expected at amusement parks. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I’d love to visit again!

Yelp
I've been a big fan of the Cedar Fair parks, and have made many visits to Kings Island over the years. While planning a trip to Toronto, we already had the Cedar Fair annual pass that allows entry to all of their parks, so we figured we'd spend a day at Canada's Wonderland since it was included. Y'all..... This park is gigantic. SO many roller coasters, areas, food.... everything. It would be easy to get lost in, it is that big! We were very impressed with how clean and well-kept this park was, which is one of the reasons we love Cedar Fair... their sister parks uphold the same standards. It's almost hard to spend just one day here because there is so much to do. We are coaster junkies so we spend a majority of our day doing that. It was definitely busy, but we never felt like the lines were absurdly long. They also hold different kinds of events here throughout the year. During our visit, there was a food festival going on so we got to try out a bunch of different Canadian dishes! This park is awesome, and is absolutely worth a day trip if you're in or near Toronto!

Yelp
The new funnel cake flavor was good! Too sweet for me. I prefer the strawberries. The chocolate brownies are more like a cookie and crunchy not cakey

Yelp
I've been visiting Canada's Wonderland frequently for the past two years, and the improvements are remarkable. Under Cedar Fair (and now Six Flags), the food and rides are much better compared to the Paramount era. Cedar Fair has invested heavily, adding world-class roller coasters like Behemoth, Leviathan, Yukon Striker, and soon Alpenfury. The food options have also improved with the addition of Lazy Bear Lodge and Grande World Eatery. Cons: The park gets very crowded during the summer. Overall, it's a fantastic place to visit, and I hope they continue to invest in food and shows. My last visit before these past two years was 15-20 years ago, and the transformation is impressive!

Yelp
A great place with kids to visit no matter in what season. Great to get a season pass and have fun with family.

Yelp
July 31, 2024 - recently (July 28, 2024) I dropped my 17yr old niece and 16yr old nephew off to wonderland and I was kinda sad that we didn't go with them. But I was so happy when my sister said she bought tickets for all of us to go a few days later!! Thanks sis I haven't been here in years, so it was nice to go back. While my niece and nephew left us to enjoy their (fast passes), I went a some kiddie rides with my little 3 yr old niece. I even played with her in the kiddie pool. But my baby girl tried to drown me quite a few times lol Eventually my niece asked me to go on some bigger rides with her. I was legit so confident that I could go on leviathan, but my niece said let's go on Behemoth first. The wait time was so long. I felt bad that she waited with me. She probably could have used her fast pass 5x on behemoth while I was in line. But eventually we got on, and wow. I screamed the entire time! I screamed so much I lost my voice. After that I was like back to kidsville we go. Lmao ... we did go on a few more rides with little to no wait times before going back to kidsville. We also bought the food pass (You get food every 1 1/2hrs), it was quite good, we used it about 5x but because of the rain we decided to leave at 7pm so we ordered food then and gave the ticket to some girls who were staying till closing (at least they could use it two more times around 8:30pm and 10pm)

Yelp
Good times in my youth and now perennially with my friend's company as an adult, Wonderland is a quintessential, landmark institution that's known to all Toronto residents. One of my friends works for a big tech company and all the employees get free tickets every year (with possible +1's). The tickets include early bird 1 hr park access, free catered lunch and free parking. The last couple times I visited Wonderland was with said friend and that 1 hour early bird park access in the morning is a total game changer. On this recent visit, we went on Leviathan 5 times before gunning it over to Yukon Striker and Behemoth before the park officially opened at 10 am. By the time lunch rolled around, we had already tackled most of the big attractions and were able to avoid the massive lines. Speaking of lunch, throughout the years I feel like the catering quality has gone down steadily. They used to offer fried chicken in one of the trays but this year, it was replaced with very dry grilled chicken in a peppery (but also watery) sauce. In addition, the pastas were way overcooked compared to previous years. The best tasting thing was the coleslaw imo. Oh yea, there were both veggie and regular meat patty burgers being served but the trays had no labels so I had to ask a staff member which tray was the meat patties. Moreover, the chest freezers in the courtyard used to house strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice creams back in the mid 2010's. Near 2020 I rmbr they shrank the selection down to just chocolate and vanilla. On this most recent visit, only vanilla ice cream was available in the freezers throughout the courtyard. Big disappointment in my books. As far as the the actual amusement itself, it's always been good! The water park sometimes smells a lil funky (maybe from all the chlorine they have to keep filtering in and out) but you can literally spend hours and hours there alone. The rides have always been elite. Especially leviathan, which imo is the best ride in the park. If you're not always going to wonderland and you go once in a blue moon with general admission I'd actually recommend getting the fast lane/pass add-on as there's barely ever a line in that lane and you can actually double (sometimes even triple) the amount of riding you can do with it. Food and beverage are very obviously a ripoff at the park. The only thing I'd recommend is the funnel cakes. Those are absolutely HUGE and the turnover is high so those things are always fresh out the oil and crispy. Waters and beverages are like $5+ which is crazy. The chain stuff like pizza pizza and chicken tendies are like $25+ which is also egregious. Stay away from any of the food except the funnel cakes if you're on a budget. If you get super thirsty, then get a frozen lemonade/iced capp from the Timmie's near the medieval gate entrance.

Yelp
I went here for a work event we rented out the catering space behind the theatre near the entrance. The organizer at Wonderland was easy to work with and answered all questions quickly. The food was what I expected for theme park grade. It was served as a buffet. I do wish the water was more clearly outlined on the drink machine and that there were juice options instead of just pop. The day we went happened to be the start of a kids event featuring costumed marvel and treehouse characters. Wonderland has a great kiddy section with many newer rides and a snoopy land. For the adults, there were rides of all different types, for casual or thrill seekers. I was disappointed that the former Top Gun coaster was closed for repair. We enjoyed the former tomb raider ride, cyclone and the former Italian job ride though miss the theatrics of the fire and the taxi that came out of no where that previously were part of the ride. We also made it to the water park. Locker rental was expensive $25 for a small locker. The water park itself has a bit of a weird smell, however, it was a heat wave day and we were just happy to have an aquatic respite. Overall we had a fun day and would return.

Jay

Yelp
Waterpark was closed when it said it was available online, tried to get a refund but couldn't. This is bad, knowing half of the group I was in only came for the waterpark. We ended up skipping all the rides because the other person and I aren't fans of rides.

Yelp
Very nice park! We did the Halloween haunt fest . It was so much fun. I recommend it. Just don't take any bags with you. They have a size policy and unfortunately I had to leave my purse in the car. We tried the funnel cake, hot dog and other yummy snacks.

Yelp
Went here during Labour Day long weekend and it was packed! Not a huge fan of roller coasters with big drops so we spent most of our time in the water park. The slides were fun, but the lineups were long. Unfortunately the wave pool wasn't operating the actual waves because there were so many people. I would come back to try the lazy river! I did go on The Vortex and Thunder Run (my fave). Despite the long lines (an hour each to get on a ride) I still had a thrilling experience. Food wise, it is expensive eating at the park. We had pizza pizza and then burgers and hot dogs for dinner, which were not bad! If you have time to pack a picnic to have in the parking lot I would suggest it. They don't allow it inside the park though. The fireworks at night were a nice touch at the end of a long day. Getting out of the parking lot afterwards though was a pain - took over an hour lol.

Yelp
Had a blast at Wonderland last Saturday (August 19)! Way better than last year. Most of the big rides were up all day. Here are my tips for the ultimate time: Get there early! We hit the gates at 10 am and was on the Leviathan ride in just 30 mins. If you've got a season pass or a corporate hookup, you can access at 9 am, even hit up Leviathan multiple times in a row like my friend did. Mornings are for the big rides--Leviathan, Behemoth, Yukon Striker. We were able finish it along with a couple other smaller rides on a Saturday morning. Once you hit the afternoon onwards those rides are around an hour wait or longer on a Saturday so fast lane pass is your best bet. I think the best value wait to thrill level has to be the Wilde Beast ride, a classic wooden roller coaster that isn't as shiny and tall as the new ones but still fun. Downloading the Wonderland app is essential, trust me. You can check wait times, snag fast passes, and sort your food situation. Food deal alert: Packages start at $32, allowing you to order an entree/snack every 90 mins. Total steal and share-friendly. We checked out the limited time Taste of Brazil--food, drinks/cocktails, live music. Meals start at 4 tastes for $34. I had instead the corporate lunch this year and it was a letdown. Waited like 45 mins for ribs and poutine, line was a mess, and just 1hr to eat. They ran out of fries clogged up the line and people took long to build their poutine. We bailed on the lineup and just ate the burgers and hot dogs instead. Any corporate event planners, avoid picking the add-on poutine option, the fried chicken and ribs moved faster. Catch the circus show at Medieval Faire (30-mins), but show up early. We barely got in 10 mins earlier than the 6pm start, latecomers missed out. Funnel cake! Pricey at $18ish, but worth. The one near the entrance is hefty and better than last year's at another location inside. Skip the end-of-day rush for it though. $99 golden pass alert until Sept 5/2023, season pass for 2023+2024, plus Halloween Haunt and Winter Wonderland. What a deal. However, parking is quite steep at $30, so use public transportation or carpool is best. In short, Wonderland's a blast. Better than last year. Food, rides, shows--epic day guaranteed if you start your day early.

Yelp
I think overall we had a great time, but we'd make adjustments for next year to avoid just how bad this place is for our wallets. Maybe everyone already knows how much of a cash grab this park is, but as early 30-somethings we didn't realize how bad it had become. Everything is horribly marked up, everything. I'm not sure it's too bad if you have small kids, because some things are discounted or free. The Food: ------ Not great. The subway my wife and I had was terrible, way less filling and way more expensive. 0/10 would not recommend. The Dip n' Dots were just the best, nostalgic cup of childhood. It was great and I remember for a while the park didn't have any. So it was really nice to have them again next to the Coke cool zone. That being said, next time I'm having them after the rides. The Rides ------ Pretty fun. I had the horrible realization that I wasn't always brave on rides and might have struggled to get on the teacups. Maybe. But once I did, I realized how much I loved rides and we went on a good chunk of them. Nightmares was the best and also a nightmare. If you stand on the outside part, it kind of feels like you're going to get thrown out of the ride and die. Tea cups were my favourite. We went on them like 6 times, despite the fact that the cups have no cushion and hurt a lot. Overall: It's all fun, but expensive. Next time we're eating beforehand and finding a better food alternative. 7.5/10 fun but pricey.

Yelp
Canada's Wonderland is an amusement park perfect for family. It's located in Vaughan, just north of Toronto, features more than 200 attractions including 18 roller coasters, two children's areas, and Splash Works, the 20-acre water park. It's like the equivalent of SixFlags. It was my first time here and came during the 4th of July holiday weekend and spend the entire day. General admission and annual holder passes have fair prices. Majority of the lines for rides were relatively modest and moves pretty quickly. Food and drinks prices were quite expensive as well as their souvenir merchandise. Parking lot was massive. Overall, I had a memorable and fun time at this amusement theme park.

Yelp
Time for an update review after my first one in 2010! I love going to Canada's Wonderland even after all these years. There are so many more than just rides when you visit CW. There are shows, activities and different festivals. Different celebrations including Canada's Day, Octoberfest, Kid's Event, Theme Tasting Weekend, Halloween, Christmas... I usually come on weekdays, if you want to get on rides. For special occasions, the Park can be so crowded. Stay away when they have fireworks! Season pass with meal/drink plans probably the best options if you will visit the park more than 3 times. Food has improved a lot, especially with Lazy Bear Lounge opened last year (their smoked chicken is so good! and plenty of seating too!) Now going to CW is part of my Summer's ritual. But yes, they open for Winterfest till end of December!

Yelp
Cool shows with cute decorations! I absolutely adore the decorations and flowers and all that other jazz throughout the park. Lovely, I tell ya. Service is also decent, not too much and not too little. Service in the kiddo area can get a little rude though, sometimes it's best to stay out of there. Architecture is fantastic and rides aren't boring, exciting and jittery. Food is also tasty, I enjoyed my ice cream cone very much. A nice place in Canada for family fun.
google avatar

Adrian A.

Yelp
The food is amazing but expensive The rider Gray, but it gets boring sometimes. And it's cool
google avatar

Yan Ping Z.

Yelp
Will come at least one time in a year for my daughter. Hahahah. The ride is fun for her. She love it. The food and drinks are too expensive but is ok. I totally understand. My daughter ate a lot. She loves all the rides.
google avatar

Luke W.

Yelp
The food wasn't all that good but for the dining plan you definitely get your moneys worth. I wish there was more variety for food as 2-3 menu items were always the same with exceptions. Manchu Wok was pretty bad though not gonna lie, maybe got a bad batch! However the rides are absolutely insane, besides the lines which are tough to get rid of it's just an unreal experience and totally worth it, especially the season pass!

J B.

Yelp
One of my favourite parks in all of the world however pizza is very expensive like I could get a pizza for way less at a different place. However, the rides back this up, Leviathan is easily the top tier of the park.
google avatar

Miyuru A.

Yelp
Lets go they said, but the These rides got me screaming, laughing and head spinning ‍!! Had a great time with friends and family but as a person who doesn't do well with heights this was scary, adrenaline pumping and constant swearing.
google avatar

Martin L.

Yelp
I feel so lucky to have a world-class amusement park in Vaughan. The rides are best-in-class to rival and Six Flags, and there's an amazing new ride coming in 2025. I find the food over-priced, but I do have a meal plan since I go often. If you can get there early in the morning, the lines are shorter. Also a fantastic kids area.

Greg L.

Yelp
A world class theme park that isn't too far away from Toronto. There are great rides for little kids and adults. If you are a fan of roller coasters, then there are some top-tier ones at this park. In 2025 there's an even more epic ride being released, which stacks the ride count even more. The food can be pricey, like all theme parks, so be ready for that. Try to go in the morning when the lines are smaller.
google avatar

Melanie A.

Yelp
I feel so lucky to live relatively close to a world-class theme park. While the food is expensive (like all theme parks), the rides are really great. From kiddie rides to coasters, the park has a fantastic assortment of attractions.
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
Such a fantastic theme park in Vaughan. Great rides for little kids, and lots of excellent roller coasters for thrill seekers. Food can be a bit on the pricey side.
google avatar

Julian M.

Yelp
Great park with lots of fun rides. Can get quite busy when weather is nice leading to long queues for popular rides but that is to be expected.
google avatar

Jinny B.

Yelp
We went to Wonderland for the first time in years. We took two kids (teens) that have never been and we had a blast. We didnt get the fast pass so we saw those pass holders go thru lines quick, but it's expensive to have a whole family for fast pass. It didn't bother us because we had a blast and made core memories. We choose not to eat in the park which was great, the lines to get in the park moved quick that day. We got funnel cakes and played games. It was a fun day overall. It's nice to see Wonderland update and make changes. The only thing that was nuts was the Waterpark, 30$ for a locker and the lines were long. We did the black hole and then wave pool which cooled us off. Fun family day.
google avatar

Alaleh P.

Yelp
I have been to Canada's Wonderland (waterpark & rides) multiple times during summertime, but this was my first time attending the Winter Fest. I was amazed by how much effort has been put in place for the decorations and lightings. I loved it all. The kidZville was the most crowded spot here. All the rides were open and kids were enjoying their time. They also have a few rides for adults. It's an old tradition of ours to have a Funnel Cake every time we go here and we tried the gingerbread funnel cake this time. I would say I like the Strawberry Funnel Cake better.
google avatar

Abhi S.

Yelp
Well, a day to definitely remember. We used the Perkopolis membership to take advantage of the Perkopolis Day at Canada's Wonderland, and was it the best decision ever to visit a theme park on this day! The park has a huge parking spread throughout. We got the parking space pretty close to the entrance. It's a $25 parking fee (tax included). There are several lanes to the entrance and on this specific day we didn't see any line ups. You enter to this magnificent view of the mountain with a beautiful waterfall and a small pond/lake with several stores and eateries around. Then come the rides; oh boy, were these rides breathtaking, I'd say they were amazing! Especially the Leviathan, Yukon Striker, Flight Deck, The Bat, etc. And don't underestimate the Mighty Canadian Minebusters's woody looks! There are some mild rides as well for the not so brave, like the Merry Go Round, etc. Plenty of options for having a meal and even beer. Slightly expensive beer though. In all, it was an amazing day full of thrill and wonder. I highly recommend this park, especially on a weekday. Weekends can lead to thousands of people lining up at the rides with wait times for rides like Leviathan upto 1.5 hours.

Gabriel R.

Yelp
This is one of the best experiences EVER. It is worth driving for days to come here. My favorite is Backlot Stunt Coaster. It is fast and it has a tunnel. The food here is awesome. Everything is awesome. JUST GO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!
google avatar

Sénior B.

Yelp
If you like being shoulder to shoulder all day in mass crowds and 4hr lineups for a single roller coaster, this is the place for you. Also I hope you like lining up for everything, I mean everything! They let too many ppl into this zoo due to greed and it has lost all its magic from when I was a child. Be prepared to spend lots of money in this nightmare as well, and you'll receive little back from it. (Food is shite and overpriced, and beer is $14 and you don't even get the can, it comes in a plastic crap cup and gets as warm as coffee in 5mins) Men, listen to me, the wife and kids are going to try to drag you here. Do whatever you can to try to get out of it, you'll enjoy not even one second of the day and you'll spend $400+gas+$25parking+food/drinks)
google avatar

Yelp
We're back, and we're in line, and we ride, and had a really, really, really good time. Canada's Wonderland has re-opened after a 1.5 year hiatus allowing visitors and season passholders alike to rejoice! The rides are back in action. The lines become more packed throughout the day following the new reservation system. All of the outdoor thrill and kids rides seem to be open whereas the indoor rides have stayed closed which is understandable. The kids are pleased just to be able to enjoy their favourite rides again spaced out from other park guests. The food stalls are also reduced with the lower number of visitors permitted inside, so be prepared to trek around for an open option. You can definitely tell based on the available spots in the parking lot and shorter lines. They're still working out some kinks for the rides & live shows, so let's hope it gets better from here! For safety measures, face masks are required except when dining or at the water park. It can get hot but if folks in DisneyWorld can put up with it, who are we to complain about the extra precaution. The park and rides are all at reduced capacity at the moment, which may perhaps expand after the next reopening phase in Ontario.

Carr F.

Yelp
They sold us the 2023 meal plan for our son (on our last visit of the year last year) instead of the 2024 meal plan and then when we showed up this year we waited an hour in line only to be told "no" to it being transferred. I was given a card and told to take it up with customer service only to be told "Thank you for contacting Canada's Wonderland. Unfortunately, because the dining pass was bought for last year, due to our policy of No Refunds No Transfers and No Rainchecks, we won't be able to issue a refund." At this point we've spent over $1000 here. This was an obvious and easy mistake to fix. They can see records and receipts of everything. They're choosing to have bad customer service. They don't care.

Yelp
Went to Winterfest for my first time yesterday evening & had a great time!! They put a lot of work into putting up a lot of Christmas decorations. There is also a lot of Christmas characters including well known ones such as Snoopy and Charlie Brown & Co. Tons of shows and a ice skating rink (additional fee). Had dinner at the Bear Lodge & the food was surprisingly good. Choice of entree (turkey skewer, pork chop, chicken tenders, impossible shepherds pie, 240 hour slow cooked Montreal smoked meat), choice of side (vegetables, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, Mac & cheese, & others) plus a savoury bun for $19.99. We ended staying longer than planned since the little one was having such a good time. It was his first time on rides. Oh yeah, select rides were open and included I'm the admission price. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Went at 10 am on a Saturday in August. Line up for Yukon Striker for example was like 15 to 20 mins. Pretty good, considering that an hour later they had to extend the queue and now you're looking at 40 to 60+ min waits for just about anything. There isn't much you can do about wait times. Maybe coming during the weekday, avoiding summer maybe? Fast pass is also an option if it's within your budget, but not all rides have them so you should check the list beforehand. Brought an umbrella and it was a pretty good decision, given how long you'd be standing in the sun. Some rides have an area past the entrance where you can put your stuff aside. Other rides don't and you'd have to leave it in a locker or a non-rider. For public transit users, there's a YRT bus that stops at finch station and richmond hill centre that goes to vaughan mills and then right into wonderland.

Yelp
I'm writing this review as I'm waiting in line to get on the Leviathan! It's 2021. Lockdown is on stage 3. Wonderland is open but you need to reserve a spot beforehand. Park is not as crowded as it used to be which is a plus if you ask me. I strongly recommend 2021 season pass. There aren't many places to go to during summer. Plus your 2021 season pass is valid for 2022 as well! Yep you heard that right! Get a Golden pass now it's a no brainer!

Yelp
Biggest amusement park near the Toronto area! Great rides, food, and excitement for people of all ages. I admire that there are events during different seasons - Christmas, Halloween, and the usual spring/summer schedule. I used to visit as a child with my parents and now I bring my children here. The funnel cakes are popular and there is a children's area as well for those families looking for family friendly experiences.

Yelp
Security separated 2 mother's from our kids because we needed to get our things from our lockers at 10pm. They said we couldnt get our belongings unless we had our kids stay with a security guard and got escorted to our lockers. They then left our kids alone and our kids got lost! It took me screaming their names for over 30 minutes and no help from their joke of security. THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP FIND THEM! After they left 4 minors to fend for themselves! Then they acted like nothing happened. I had to call the canadian police because they didn't care that they abondoned my kids after they forcefully separated us! They endanger your kids! I'm American and canadas "wonderland" lost my children! Stay far away from this place.

Yelp
Fantastic day of fun!!! Took my kids for the first time. My partner and I haven't been here in years. There's so many new rides, and a lot of kid friendly rides in Planet Snoopy. We also enjoyed a magic show and water diving show! We spent the whole day here and the park is so big, we never ran out of things to do. Also!!!! My partner won a giant squirtle for me which was the cherry on top!! Logistically dont try to win it tho if you dont have room in your car lol. Just as we were about to drive home my MIL's car wouldn't start :'( This is when Arjun (security at wonderland) came to the rescue!!!! He had us fill a short form and then jump started her car. He helped us big time and stopped what could have turned into a sour night. Thanks again Arjun!!!

Yelp
I went there yesterday and I loved my experience. I reserved an All-Day pass for myself and it was pricey but worth it! The visitors looked happy and excited after or before they went on the rides. The staff were nice and always ready to help out. The rides there were amazing and I liked the roller coasters especially the big ones like Dragon Fyre or Levathian. The food there was good and I liked my time there. The place was clean even though there were so many people! I definitely will come back here again!

Yelp
This is the best theme park I've ever been to you've probably heard of like Six Flags or bad reviews this is an amazing thing and if you ever come here make sure you go on the dragon fire ghost or coaster and the vortex or there's a water park and some water rides you can go on anyways it is all amazing

Yelp
Was lied to upon entering. Water Park was not open. Several restaurants & rides were also closed. Food & parking were included. This is the first & last time I'll be there. Forty years hasn't been worth the wait.

Yelp
There is other kinds of amusement parks, theme parks, souvenir shop and much more. I went to the amusement park with my family. I missed it all the time in the every summer time. AND IT'S AMAZING GOOD THING ON EARTH.

Yelp
Great attractions, lotsa fun for all ages! I still remember my very first time at wonderland, Was so happy and wanted to try every single ride but getting frustrated with the long lines! Well that didn't change still lol The only thing here is the long lines, which is acceptable and expected, but you can always dodge that by getting the fast lane pass. So many rides, attractions, shows and fun things to do..certainly deserve a 5 star rating, it's one of these places that you must visit if you're in Toronto area!

Yelp
Canada's Wonderland is a great amusement park to go to? Would definitely recommend to go to if you are visiting Canada! Rides are secure and safe, workers are great and amazing, service is great. Season time is great especially in Halloween. But when eating, careful of the cheese. The cheese can make you sick. The season pass is definitely worth it, after going 2 or more times it makes it worth. Food can be overpriced though.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to attend the opening night for Winterfest and my goodness... it was like Christmas threw up everywhere? But in a really wonderful way? The experience was exactly what we needed to toss us right into the festive mood! The lights were very pretty and if you're wanting to get some candid photographs in, this would be a great place to go to. I took a bunch of photos but alas, they're on my DSLR so they're not included in this review. The website photos are quite accurate though! Be sure to pre-pay/reserve your parking ahead of time and tickets can also be purchased online at a cheaper rate too. My friend and I got the hot chocolate wristband and... in hindsight, we could've done without. The hot chocolate itself is about $4-$5 per cup, so unless you're planning on having more than 3 hot chocolates, it's not worth it. There were A Lot™ of families there and if you're not quite ready for a large group of people whilst we're still in the midst of a pandemic, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you'll be with people who you are comfortable with and you've got grounding strategies if anxieties arise. Music is loud, as expected, and the food is priced between $5-$15 per item ($5 for a cup of hot chocolate, $15 for poutine, that kind of thing). If you're a fan of really expensive theme park food, Wonderland is your place! We didn't go on any rides as the lines were quite long, but the highlight of the night was the Christmas Market, candid photo Ops, and all the snazzy thing we found in the gift shop. It was very different to return to Wonderland as an adult and be able to do all the things that kid versions of us weren't able to do before. Super glad that we decided to sneak this into our itinerary! Heads up: getting out of the parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare. Follow your GPS (or the giant EXIT signs) and it'll lead you right now.

Yelp
It's been over twenty years since I've been to Canada's Wonderland. While the basic structure and layout felt familiar, a lot of rides and attractions have been added over the years. The park felt a lot bigger this time around. This late in the year, October, it wasn't as busy as the peak summer times. Thank goodness! Getting in and out of the parking lot and through the gates into the park was much quicker than I had anticipated. The north end of the parking lot still had a few hundred spaces available. I was just happy to wander around the park taking pictures while my friends enjoyed some of the rides. One of them was taking care of a kid with a mental disability so they had priority in the long lineups. That was good. I hate waiting in line for anything. I just don't have the patience for it. Some of these rides had waiting times of over 30 minutes, and longer, and the actual ride lasts only a few seconds. That's just me, but I'm happy to do it with friends. The park was very clean, with litter being picked up and the washrooms being cleaned quite frequently. I really didn't even notice this happening but the staff did a good job. Foodwise, as expected, all the prices were very inflated. A bottle of water was almost $5.00! For that price, I can purchase a whole case at a local market. Oh, well, I did expect prices to be higher in a theme park. One of my friends did, however, say that prices in the Starbucks locations were the same as outside the park. The only food we consumed in the park was a funnel cake. Although I didn't go on any of the rides, I did enjoy my time at the park, just wandering around, observing everything, and taking pictures. I'm not sure if a summer experience would be the same.

Yelp
Such a magical place Wonderland is. I came here on Canada Day (how fitting eh?) and believe it or not, it was my first time coming here. I absolutely LOVED my visit here and already can't wait for my next one. I am not sure why there's a surprising amount of negative reviews. The admission price is rather steep at first glance, but trust me, the overall quality and thrill of the park is well worth the price for lots of great memories about to be made. The biggest surprise (in a great way) was how CLEAN the park was. I came here with my friend who was visiting me from Montreal and he told me La Ronde (the main amusement park in Montreal) was nowhere as clean as Wonderland. Of course, this wasn't the case with the washrooms, but what would you expect from an amusement park? There are also lots of food options, although very overpriced. No surprise though, if you come to an amusement park or fair thinking stuff will be reasonably priced, well... get with it, buddy. There are plenty of rides that are fun but SAFE. As disappointing as it was that some of the rides we wanted to go on were down, there's no shortage of having fun here. So much to choose from, from gentle to aggressive/thrilling (I'm looking at you, Leviathan and Behemoth), there's something for everyone! Rollercoaster enthusiasts will have a blast here, they have plenty of those. They are somewhat scary though, so even the most experienced of coaster enthusiasts will get their bravery tested! There's also a water park available. How cool is that! Keep in mind, I'm not much of an amusement park/fair person because I tend to find such places vastly overpriced, overrated, dirty and crowded. However, I LOVED my visit here and continue to look back on my day here and think of nothing but happy memories made. Since I'm not from the GTA, it will be a while yet before I make another trip here, but if I have another opportunity to go, I will absolutely take it. Nice job, Canada's Wonderland! ALSO, DO NOT miss the special fireworks shows that are offered here. They are truly amazing and there are many viewing places to see them. No viewing point is better than another, they all are great.

Yelp
I can only say good things about CW after having enjoyed it in my youth, watching my child enjoy it in theirs, and looking forward to visiting again this winter. As a community resource, it has gone beyond just a place to hang out and have fun. So many of my non-privileged friends had jobs here and never had a problem under their employ. If I ask myself what I would think if it disappeared tomorrow, I know I'd be disappointed, even if I haven't been there for years now. I absolutely look forward to enjoying their winter lights setup, and I hope it's here to stay for as long as I live in this area. Yes, it's pricey - but it's worth it. It's the closest we have to a Disney park here in Canada and it does a damn good job of keeping up with the times and rolling with the punches. I love that they don't get complacent, and are always adding new attractions to keep it fresh and interesting. It's always immaculately maintained, and I don't recall a single time I had any issue with anything during a visit. I am so glad we have CW in our community!
