Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. I believe you need to seriously rethink things and consider hiring new staff. Not a single person made me feel welcome. Instead, I was met with judgmental looks from the moment I walked in until I decided to leave.
I didn’t realize that wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt meant I had no money to spend. I apologize if my clothing didn’t scream “high-end luxury” that day.
It would be appreciated if, going forward, customers were not discouraged from shopping in your store. A little time and attention from your staff to show what’s available and help find the right pieces would go a long way. It’s not as if I was taking up anyone’s precious time, the store was practically empty. And for the record, I came in with the intention to make a purchase.
Let’s remember that affordability comes in many shapes and sizes, especially in this day and age. I’ll do my best not to judge your staff based on the fact that they work in retail on the shop floor. I’d appreciate the same courtesy in return.
