Canasto Picnic Bistrò

Highly recommend. I came here with a group of 12 friends for brunch when traveling in Bogota, and we had a great time. We sat on their outdoor patio, which is fully covered in case it rains. The menu was beautiful - so many options for eggs, sweets, and juices/ tea. The cappuccino looked amazing as well! The food was great and so was the service. Thanks for showing us a great time!

The breakfast was really amazing. The service was exceptional too! Although we were supposed to just go there for one afternoon breakfast we managed to go there almost every morning while we were in Bogota! The menu is so beautiful it’s like a magazine. The quality of ingredients in the food was amazing and the presentation and taste and flavor was exceptional.

The food and presentation was beyond my expectation! The coconut yogurt was 8/10, but my favorite brunch place so far.

Cool interior design - and their dishes are delicious and well presented. Prices are very fair (2-8€ for a starter). Relaxed atmosphere and a menu with beautiful pictures of their dishes! 10/10😉

Experience 2018: Wow this is an excellent restaurant with super delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. We had the carpaccio beetroot which was great, the the food is really tasty. The staff is nice and friendly. Super recommended ! Experience last night February 2021: I went back to this restaurant as I had a good experience three years ago. However I must say the experience this time was as a very low standard . I was having dinner with a friends and order vegan hamburger as this was the reason for me to choose this restaurant, they took the order for me and sister but to my surprise they forgot about my order , I guess the waiter was “too busy” speaking with his colleagues as there were hardly and clients apart from us for two other couples. They never came to ask us if we were fine as good restaurants do, after 30 minutes my sister nearly finished his dinner and I still didn’t receive mine. I finally had to ask and this is when they said they forgot about my order, Paul the waiter never apologise for it . I let if go and waited again for my dinner. We also had a incident about parking , I absolutely don’t recommend anyone to come and have dinner here after 6pm because there is no parking whatsoever. We asked the waiter and he said we could leave the car in front of the restaurant, and we believe ir would be safe as he didn’t mention or suggested otherwise. 15 minutes later the car had been broken in and various things stolen and windows car broken too. The waiter then said that this has happened many times before (I wonder why he never mentioned this when I asked him for parking !?) The food is acceptable now and the choices for vegan very poor . Please don’t come to this restaurant as the service is extremely poor and parking inexistent

Nice place in a trendy area of Bogota. Loved the food. Canasto sandwich with added chicken was the best. Chicken burger was good though a bit dry. Quinoa salad was also good. Nice vibe. Would come again.

Canasto picnic bistro is a very pleasant and comfortable restaurant. It is located in a peaceful place in “El Virrey Park”. The food is excellent and well presented. The menu will meet all expectation, from vegan to vegetarian till carnivore, you will find your happiness. The service is outstanding with friendly staffs. We had our meal in the terrace which is covered. It allows to enjoy all the benefit of being outside without being bothered by the wind, cold or rain. That promotes a good flow of conversation. I highly recommend it.

Great place by the park for breakfast, they have a lovely conservatory and a chilled atmosphere. We came for breakfast and the prices are great and the food super Delicious! We will be coming back again and again!
