"Telstra Tower No trip to Canberra would be complete without a trip up the Telstra Tower! Unfortunately, they charge to get in and have the windows frosted so you can't get a free peek at the view. But if you eat at the restaurant, you can see the view from the revolving restaurant and also go outside on the viewing deck, and the food is pretty good. By Heather Alexander"

Yelp
I didn't know Canberra Centre before it was done up, but it seems to have everything you'd want in a big shopping Centre. There are fancy stores, there are $2, and there are the useful stores like Target and Big W. The food court seemed a little lacklustre, filled with mostly fast food, and not many interesting options. Skip it all together and head to Dobinson's instead on the ground floor. There's paid parking, but at least it's fairly cheap. At the end of the day it's a shopping centre, and in Australia they usually don't get too excited. It's not as sterile and intimidating as some fancier shopping centres, and you could definitely do a lot worse.

Yelp
It is a big shopping mall where you find everything you need: department stores such David Jones, Myers and Target; bargain, gift, cosmetic and decor stores, supermarkets, gym, cinema and so on. There is junk and healthy food options and nice restaurants and cafe options as well. There is always free events going on: workshop, pop up bar, keep on eyes at their's website to see the upcoming events.

Yelp
The parking company for this place are unprofessional and treat paying customers with disdain and indifference, their parking rates are absurd for anything over 2 hours. They have the monopoly on parking for office workers and know this, they abuse it and expect their paying customers to feel privileged to park there. Avoid parking in the Canberra centre at all costs! If anything goes wrong with your parking they will treat you like the scum on the sole of their shoe.
