Canberra Lyneham Motor Inn

This is an older establishment, but the location is good, the parking is convenient and it meets all the basic needs of a traveller. 500m in one direction is the Light Rail (tram) and a foodcourt area featuring a wide variety of food styles. In the other direction is Tilleys (a snazzy cafe which is very popular with the locals).

Family rooms are dated but very clean and spacious. Beds are comfy, nice big fridge. Exterior and general look isn't great but it's value for money and immaculately clean. Would stay again

Have stayed here twice. Very comfortable large rooms with all facilities. Rooms were clean and the bed linen was fresh.A great place to stay. Great value for money!

Perfect place to stay on a budget. It's clean and has all the basics, such as kettle, fridge, microwave, cups, a box of sugar, tea, and coffee. In the bathroom, you'll get a couple of soaps. They make your bed every time. The lady at the reception area is very nice and helpful. We all forgot our phone and Ipad charges, and my kids were quite upset about it. So the lady at the front desk straight away lent us some extra ones she had. Great customer service. Also, the location is fantastic.

Price is good but still I think you would expect better cleanliness even if it is a good price. The room had a nasty chemical smell, with very old carpet. The sink in the bathroom is so low, it would only be suitable for little kids and the bathroom in general needs cleaning and an update. On a more positive note, reception lady is really lovely and helpful, and the location is good, close to shops and restaurant. There is also free parking on site. Ok for a night or two maximum.

Felt like I walked throught a time tunnel back in to the 70's. Hotel rooms area very dated . The bed was comfortable enough. Good spot for workers looking for a night's accommodation. I think you could find better for less if you wanted too

Great value for money in a great location. Simple but clean. Bedding was perfect.

Not our favourite place but Henry at the front desk was a true champion and helped us out. All the best mate.
