Cancun Lagoon was fun! They have three 9-hole courses, only one is wheelchair accessible. The others have steps and stairs. Wheelchair bathroom a plus. No diaper changing table though. Drinks, including alcohol, are available on site. Courses are well maintained, challenging yet fun. Start your day early and enjoy the all day play pass.

Google
Very nice. We enjoyed the 2 9-hole rounds we run. It's nice that they offered 3 paths to choose

Google
Very cool layout. This mini golf was fun and clean. Multi leave floors and fun obstacles and challenges. A few of the holes have a spin wheel that gives you a challenge like stand on one foot to put or put with your eyes closed. Great family fun!!! They even have coin machines to feed the fish for a quarter.

We were in town for a business meeting. We enjoyed a game of mini golf competition one evening. It was an enjoyable evening with colleagues. Cancun Lagoon has some challenging holes. The Aztec theme was interesting. Jeannie was eager to assist us with choosing which course to play as well as being equipped for our best game. This course has 27 holes for play.

Ann Klein

Google
Great courses! A little odd that they were split up into three different courses and you choose 2. Half inside half outside. Not too expensive. Absolutely loved the spinner added to a few of the holes to put a special twist for each individual at their turn! Added some extra excitement!

Google
Although this course has outdoor options, we only got to do the indoor stuff since it was raining (thanks tropical storm Debby!) the attendant was so nice and let us do the two indoor parts twice!! It’s got a cool theme and some challenging holes. It was a great rainy day stop and I’m sure it would be a great way to beat the heat on a hot day. Give it a shot!

John Timmons

Google
Such a fun course! The lady working in the counter was extremely welcoming and explained everything really well due to the fact that there are three courses instead of the usual too. The courses are maintained well and the bathrooms are very clean. It’s right next to a Dairy Queen, which makes for a really fun date night and my wife and I will be back highly recommend!

Google
This was fun. Got a little burnt but some super fun holes and some interesting add-ons with other challenges with some holes. Great for the family.

Shawn L.

Yelp
It was fun. You get to play two courses of the three courses. The courses are fun. Not anything really crazy but definitely fun for a mini golf outing.

Yelp
This was a cute place, but the course was boring to me. It rained on us the day we went and luckily towards the end of the game they gave us a game card to use for a free play; which was nice on them. The place smelled weird I guess you can say mildewy. There was water dripping out of the ceiling and I thought that was part of the aesthetic but it wasn't, it was actually the roof leaking. It was leaking on several areas of the building cause I saw caution signs everywhere. They need a remodel for sure though!

Ashley O.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time. It is a pyramid structure. Inside they have 3, 9 holes courses and you play 2 out of 3 of them with admission. 2 are 1/2 inside, 1/2 outside and one is entirely outside. Course was just okay as were decorations, etc. There was a lightening/thunderstorm.

Tammra S.

Yelp
Perfect time to play was around 4pm. My party of 12 really enjoyed Cancun Lagoon and participated in the spinners on some of the holes. The decor is fun and the holes are a mix of challenging but still a great time. Plenty of parking. A great activity for everyone.

Tom E.

Yelp
Drive up and down 17 Bus enough and I am sure Cancun Lagoon will catch your attention enough. I mean, how can you miss the large temple of mini golf that opens at 9am daily? Well, my sister and nephew decided to give in one night, and kind of glad we did! The cool thing about most mini golf places is they are outdoor, so you can see how crowded they are. Every place we drove by, well, they were insanely packed. When we decided to pull up to CL, we saw the parking lot wasn't too crowded at all, which was nice. When we walked in, I was amazed to see they had alcohol for sale (beer and mini bottles lol), which mean I played mini golf in the wrong cities (as this was my first time to my knowledge playing mini golf in MB). For 32.80 (after tax), it got us 18 holes. This place has 3 9 hole courses, 2 similar (I think mirrored) indoor, and one outdoor. For $2 more, you can play all 3. They also have a park hopper, where you can visit their sister properties (molten mine is one, I forgot the other) in either a day or spread out if you want to mini golf your heart out. We played the indoor course to the left, and the outdoor course. They were fun, and my nephew enjoyed himself. Since he is pretty new to it, I think it was a good place to play. My sister ended up kicking both our butts though, which I thought was funny (I hadn't played against her in maybe 15-20 years). The course did start to pick up as the night progressed, but only at like the last few holes on the outdoor course, so at least it wasn't too bad. All in all, it was a fun family bonding experience!

Vi C.

Yelp
this was a fun experience except for the smell of mildew, it's SUPER humid inside, my hands felt really weird and sticky, the same 3 songs were repeated over and over again, the water fountains weren't working on the outside and there were no waterfalls. the good things were the koi fish and the thunderstorm. i wouldn't come back.

George B.

Yelp
Our favorite mini golf in Myrtle Beach. Nice indoor holes and some out side. Like the inside section when it's hot. Course was well kept and clean.

Kerry B.

Yelp
It's been a rainy couple of days and that added to the authenticity of these ruins, with caverns dripping real water from overhead. There are 3 courses to play, increasing in difficulty: 2 indoor-outdoor and one all-outdoor. Many of the holes are hidden, so a hole-in-one is often more luck than skill. Several holes involve a spinner game where you spin a wheel and have to play the hole backwards or blind or with some other challenge, which was silly and added fun. The all-outdoor course was the best in my opinion, but we played them all. A lot of damage had been done to the interior plaster wall art by previous players, which was disappointing, but it is still a cool place. The staff was friendly and courteous, explaining the course for the billionth time, and despite the wet floors the interior courses were clean. Would definitely play again, rain or shine!

Cara R.

Yelp
This course was OK. It is an inside/outside course and you can choose different paths. There are two courses to choose from. I know all of them in the area say par 2 or 3 but this one was just to easy. Our family of 3 blew through this in a half hour which didn't make the price worth it to me‍

Greg T.

Yelp
Fun indoor/outdoor course with a spinning wheel to add a twist into the game. They now serve alcohol as well. Fun for all ages

Paul H.

Yelp
Course has three sets of 9 holes. Two of the nines are half indoor, half outdoor. Third nine is all outdoor. Played both nines that were indoor/outdoor. Fun and challenging holes. Went on a light rainy day and water in some of the carpets made holes extra challenging. Have a random prize system when turning in ball at end of round and one of the members of our group won a free round.

Ashlea C.

Yelp
We love to play mini golf and make a point to play it every time we visit Myrtle Beach. We always try out a new place every time, and this time we happened to visit Cancun Lagoon. It had caught my eye before because of the intriguing architectural aspects of the building, (it's a giant pyramid!) Inside and out, the theme of the building is very adventurous, and there are cool decorations everywhere inside. There's an indoor Koi pond where you can feed the fish. First off, we paid $9.50 a person for 18 holes. That's not a bad price in my opinion. When we got instructions on how to play the holes, it got kind of confusing. There are 3 different ways to "depart on your pyramid adventure." We just kind of went along the trail and played, not keeping score. We did have fun and thought the whole idea of the Mayan theme was cool, however the course is too easy and predictable. Before we left, they have a cute little thing you can put your ball into to see if you were a winner or not (winner for free rounds of golf, free prizes, etc.) That's an awesome concept. The experience was okay, but we will probably try a different mini golf place next time!

Noelle S.

Yelp
Had a great time here, wonderfully maintained and loved the inside/outside concept. We've been to Molten Mountain before, so we were happy to see the high standards continue here, as do the spinners at certain holes to keep play interesting and entertaining.

Diane D.

Yelp
Decided to try this miniature golf place after having dinner across the street. We arrived at 9pm. Sign said closes at 10pm. Woman inside seemed very annoyed when we came in as she was counting money from the register. We were greeted by her telling us" we close at 10 and we will close at 10. I've been here since 10am because my replacement didn't show so I had to stay". Way too much information and attitude to deal with being from out of state and in Myrtle Beach on vacation. Besides course not being challenging, being greeted by an employee like we were, we will never go back.

Sharat R.

Yelp
Myrtle beach is worlds capitol for mini golf, and it was hard to choose this place from many options. The pyramid like structure attracted us, and I think it was a good choice we made. Friendly staff, nice place and liked the interiors. Fun place for anyone who would like to go mini golfing.

A M.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this cute place! They have the option of indoor/outdoor combo courses. Very fun decor and courses. Kids loved it. Grab an icee on the way out.

Swindler L.

Yelp
Me and MY lady are back again with the world famous mini golf reviews. HOLD ON! We stumbled across this hidden gem in our coupon book. Boy oh boy did we have a blast. Like a blast in a cup but sober! bot really xD. You get too play 2 of the 3 courses which were challenging AND FUN. MY lady won the first round while we tied for the second one. But the real fun is handing in your Balls!!!! if you win you get choices on a free coupon and holy smokes i won a free round. Praise up!!

Angie B.

Yelp
Reasonable prices Fun for the whole family Great design on the course and effects 3 courses to choose from.

Michael J.

Yelp
The miniature gold here is to simple compared to other myrtle beach locations. They also charge $8.50 for all children under 10. There is no way any child 4 and under can play miniature golf for 18 holes. Four and under don't have that much attention span, so they are over charging for kids. The place is clean and well decorated with waterfalls, but there is ZERO sound. I found this place to be kind of boring. I would suggest going to another locations. They are plenty to choose. If my review and pictures helped you then please give me a thumbs up

Ay J.

Yelp
Fun place to take your kids! Clean. Friendly staff. Good prices for adults. $9.50 for 18 holes. They have 2 indoor/outdoor courses and 1 outdoor course. Each course has a twist. They have spinning wheels that add points or take points away from your opponent.

Teressa L.

Yelp
With so many choices in MB how do you choose where to go? We hadn't been here before and opted to give it a try. We had a coupon but it was still $38 for 2 adults/2 kids. They have three 9 hole courses and we opted to do all 3. You can go in any order you want. One is all outside. The other two are mirror images of each other with the last few holes outside. So plan on walking/climbing stairs here. It wasn't anything super challenging. It was older. Musty smelling inside. And not busy. But the kids had fun. This place could be better if they spruced it up a bit. Not sure we would return as we like to keep trying all the mini golf courses on our visits here. But if you have a larger group it wasn't busy....so you could come and golf without backing up others.

Calvin H.

Yelp
Great atmosphere (music, customer service, etc.), however, all the outdoor greens had a significant amount of mulch scattered across them. Also, there was little to no spice to the course. Most holes were just a straight shot with maybe a jump or a curve. I did like the idea of the spinners but it would've been nice if they were on every hole.

Katie S.

Yelp
Had a great time at this mini golf course today. We decided to play all three 9-hole courses. We had alot of fun. the addition of the spinner wheels on certain holes upped the ante.

Tasha D.

Yelp
This was ok. It was the first time my husband and 3 teens ever tried mini golf. The teens seemed to enjoy it. My husband was bored out of his mind. My thoughts are "meh". The resort that I stayed at offered a free round for 1 person and a discount off the other 4 tickets at 18 holes which came up to 8.99 each x 4. There are 3 courses: 2 indoor/ outdoor and 1 completely outdoors. Each course has 9 holes so we were able to choose 2 courses to equal the 18. It was crowded so we only felt comfortable allowing 2 turns per person on our group which sucked because I felt bad making the people behind me wait for too long. Bending to pick up balls, a few stairs on the course, and small hills kept the circulation going. The teens quit after the first round because of the Monday night summer crowd. I wouldn't do this again.

Anthony L.

Yelp
This place was really cool. They go with a Mayan theme here, and do a good job with it. They have spinners at a few holes which add fun challenges to the game, and the inside portions are a nice break when it's too hot outside.

Tatyana H.

Yelp
This mini golf was a lot of fun. I went with four adults and we all had tons of fun. The course isn't too difficult, but they have spinner that help mix things up. They have three 9 hole courses. One is completely outside, and the other two are half inside and half outside. It was $10 for adults, but we had a $1 off coupon that we found online. I was definitely recommend this place for parents and kids!

Laura M.

Yelp
The course itself was alright, it wasn't crowded when we first arrived though it did get busy later on. However, one of our members fell into the water between holes 15 and 16 on the blue path (there is no fence and no barrier). When we spoke with a staff member after we completed our game, we expressed our concern regarding the lack of caution in this area, especially as there is a fence between the same holes on the yellow path on the other side and we had witnessed a child slip and nearly repeat the fall before our game was over. It was explained to us that the fence on the other side was there because it was blocking off 8ft of water while the side where the fall took place was only 2 1/2-3ft deep. That being said, depth of water means nothing if someone were to fall and hit their head on the way down. I explained this to the staff person with whom I was speaking and was dismissed immediately, as though this concern was not valid. If you decide to go to this course, I recommend that you proceed with caution between holes 15 and 16 on the blue path.

Dylan H.

Yelp
Courses were cool. Can't really go wrong with it even if it was a little weird the way it's set up. The effects and stuff are cool though. My dad and I had a fun time.

Emmy G.

Yelp
We checked out many mini golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area, and we were not big fans of this one. It was pretty dark and musty on the inside of the temple. We played 2 of the 3 courses, with some holes inside and some out. A number of holes had "grass" that was in need of repair or replacement. I noticed at least one hole's sign missing, and there were several walls in the temple that also seemed to have damage. Compared to other courses that charged us $12 a person to play 36 holes, we paid about the same amount to play only 18 holes at Cancun Lagoon. The courses there are each only 9 holes. At the end of the round, you get a chance to "win a prize" by placing your ball in a device and seeing what you win. I was not surprised that none of us were winners. I would certainly recommend other courses in the area for better quality of play and more bang for your buck.

WilliamAngela T.

Yelp
Awesome place!... We are a family of 8, 6 teenagers and 2 adults and boy did we get competitive. We loved the show and the thunder, it made us feel like we're were in a real Mayan temple. Jocelyn greeted us at the front with a warm smile and explained the course to us and we were off! My son won a free game at the end when he dropped his ball in the return, he was so excited. Next time we will purchase the passport for just $30 and that will let us play all three locations for 3 out of 7 days. My husband's favorite part of this course was the ice cold beer!... Win win. Thank you for my family having a great time yet again. My family loves this course and the people that work there.

David B.

Yelp
Pretty good little putt-putt place. If you stay at certain places you can get a game for free. Bring your ball back at the end of your game and you could also win a free game. Holes are a little more difficult in areas just because you can't see where they are.

Cheryl C.

Yelp
We love this place! It is nice and cool inside (or in our case warm because it was so cold outside) and half the holes are inside and half outside. They have "thunderstorms" every so often which is neat. At the end you put your ball into a machine and you could possibly win a prize. That is my kids favorite part. lol! That and there is a DQ right next door!

Valerie L.

Yelp
They wouldn't redeem a coupon for free game my daughter had won the night before. There were n stipulations on the card. The building stunk also

Steve J.

Yelp
Not a bad place, not very challenging, just a basic place. Lot of the course is indoors so you can get out of the sun for a bit and enjoy some A/C. I'd give the decor a 3 out of 5. Does have a goldfish pond indoors with food for sale which my son liked

Taylor A.

Yelp
Great time! you can chose your path and great prices. great for kids. spin the wheel is a great asset to this already amazing place

Matthew R.

Yelp
Cancun Lagoon is a regular stop for me during my vacations to Myrtle and Surfside Beach. Who doesn't love a good game of putt-putt? One of the things that I love about Cancun Lagoon is its options. There are 27 possible holes to play, which means when you're playing 18 holes, you can get a little variety each time. The holes are split into 3 sections of 9 holes. One section is completely outside, while the other two sections are half inside and half outside. I actually find these courses to be pretty challenging, but also not too challenging, so they are great for people of all ages! I would say that the prices are pretty reasonable. I went later in the evening most recently and paid $9.50 for 18 holes. The atmosphere is very cool as well. The entire place has a pyramid theme, which is put together very nicely! I have always enjoyed Cancun Lagoon, and know that I will continue to go back during my visits to the beaches of South Carolina!

Miranda H.

Yelp
This place wasn't bad. Reasonably priced. It costed is $34 for a family of 4. It was a busy and we had to wait in between holes for other families to finish. If you return the ball you get a chance to win a free game.

Sneha P.

Yelp
Indoor and outdoor mix of putt putt golf. A fun activity for a All ages and they did a really good job on the decor at this place.

Carrie H.

Yelp
This is a GREAT little golf course! Has two to choose from 1 inside and 1 outside, so it is awesome for those really hot days or rainy days. We love the the hints and tips from Lava Louie!

Heather C.

Yelp
The person at the counter was nice, patient, and helpful. We used the coupon we found in one of the coupon books to purchase all day passes and play all 27 holes. The courses were fun, in good shape, and they were easy to follow. There was an option to play with special rules but we chose not to use those. Seems like it would be fun for people who wanted to play each course more than once, though. The grounds were pretty, with lots of flowers and water. I also liked the music and sound effects. My only complaints were that there was a strange smell throughout the building but I have a feeling this is due to the building being treated for storm damage and what I was smelling was something to help prevent mildew. The other issue was that it was warm in the upper level of the pyramid. I think the air conditioning was off. While it is pleasant outdoors at this time of year, heat still rises inside. Anyway, minor issues aside, this was a fun spot with pleasant people and a great value.

David L.

Yelp
My family and I had a very fun time here! We loved the holes that had a spin wheel with challenges/rewards for that hole. It was a cool addition to mini golf and added to the fun. I also appreciated the indoor holes that kept its out of the rain. Would probably go back next time I'm in the area on vacation.
