Drive up and down 17 Bus enough and I am sure Cancun Lagoon will catch your attention enough. I mean, how can you miss the large temple of mini golf that opens at 9am daily? Well, my sister and nephew decided to give in one night, and kind of glad we did!
The cool thing about most mini golf places is they are outdoor, so you can see how crowded they are. Every place we drove by, well, they were insanely packed. When we decided to pull up to CL, we saw the parking lot wasn't too crowded at all, which was nice.
When we walked in, I was amazed to see they had alcohol for sale (beer and mini bottles lol), which mean I played mini golf in the wrong cities (as this was my first time to my knowledge playing mini golf in MB). For 32.80 (after tax), it got us 18 holes. This place has 3 9 hole courses, 2 similar (I think mirrored) indoor, and one outdoor. For $2 more, you can play all 3. They also have a park hopper, where you can visit their sister properties (molten mine is one, I forgot the other) in either a day or spread out if you want to mini golf your heart out.
We played the indoor course to the left, and the outdoor course. They were fun, and my nephew enjoyed himself. Since he is pretty new to it, I think it was a good place to play. My sister ended up kicking both our butts though, which I thought was funny (I hadn't played against her in maybe 15-20 years).
The course did start to pick up as the night progressed, but only at like the last few holes on the outdoor course, so at least it wasn't too bad. All in all, it was a fun family bonding experience!
