Everything about this place is amazing. However, one employee with long hair is destroying all of the environment. She is pretending to be the manager and she is talking shit to everyone, while literally hitting customers while passing and even her coworkers while going inside the bar. She was hitting the glasses strongly while everyone was staying nearby. I feel bad that one employee destroys the environment of one place.

Great atmosphere, shows as cocktail bar online but just has a usual good selection of cocktails. Mostly a cool hangout spot for beer/wine/negronis

Very cool funky bar. Great atmosphere and energy with excellent background music. Awesome helpful staff serving wonderful drinks and delicious food from a very concise menu. Located in a nice little square and with a few other establishments. Enjoy.!

Back in Porto, went back to Candelabro to meet friends. See my review below. The owners never replied to my original review. The bartender I was talking about is Thiago. I don’t understand why he is still there. Rude to multiple people while we were there again. Never going to go back, because of him. To the owners, we know you are a very popular establishment, so you don’t bother to respond. But please have some standards and manners in your customer service. Rudest barperson we have ever encountered. 1 year ago! ———-Nice place, lovely vibe, good drink and good prices. Miguel is lovely, but one of his older colleagues is very unpleasant. The guy with the long beard is rude. I don't know why he is employed there.

Hipster and full of all different walks of life bar! You will see someone full of tattoos to a man in a preppy button down! We all gather together for a nice drink and some lovely music! The drinks at the bar were very reasonable. I order a Super dock beer and a mixed drink and it came to 6 euro! Come to America and that would have been just about $20, so no complaints from me! The bartenders were very nice and cool vibe. They were attentive and willing to speak. The vibe of the bar is very rockish. It's pretty dark inside and the two bathrooms they have are black with signature and stickers all over, but it was clean when I went in. Definitely a bar I would recommend if in the area!

Staff was super unfriendly if you aren't local. The pours were incredibly weak and the prices were higher than places you the street. Don't be fooled by the large crowds.

Situated on a busy pedestrian corner, this café offered everything I required for a perfect writer's afternoon in Porto. Perfect coffee, tea, full bar, and a simple snack menu provided sustenance while I cuddled for two productive and inspiring hours into the old-world vibe and hob-nobbed with the super-cool staff. I watched a constant rotation of lively packs of young people populating the outdoor tables for beers and laughs. Highly recommended.

Grab a book (they have plenty), enjoy a good coffee and have a tasty snack. And all that in a very relaxed environment. Yes, I would recommend it.

Unless you speak Portuguese you should skip this bar. My husband and I were treated like absolute garbage here because we didn't understand the language and tried our best - in fact, the server yelled at us! It was shockingly rude. Either that guy had a bad day or needed to get laid horribly bad, or both. Or maybe he shouldn't be in the service industry at all - what a concept!

Great place to have a coffee and snack during the day or a long drink at night. Employees were very friendly when I went in; the woman working the first time was willing to have a conversation with me in Portuguese, which was great for someone genuinely trying to learn. Wifi, beautiful terrace, and plenty of other places close. Whether you're looking for coffee after lunch or another stop on your night out, this is it.
