Finally visited this place during Christmas to see if it lived up to the hype—and it absolutely did! We were lucky to get a seat right away since it was afternoon and not too crowded. It’s self-service, but everything was quick and efficient. We tried the Chicken Puff, Chicken Chops, Chutney Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Pan au Croissant, Hot Chocolate, and Tiramisu. Honestly, no complaints at all—every single item was delicious and satisfying. Adding to the experience were the vibrant Christmas decorations, which made the atmosphere even more cheerful and festive. Overall, a delightful spot that’s perfect for the holiday season and beyond.

A Portuguese style Cafe having variety of food items with affordable price and a great ambiance. This cafe's atmosphere is a combo of mosaic tiles, Posters, Lights and Greenery also. You'll have both options indoor and outdoor seatings with those artistic designs all around. This Cafe is known for its variety of foods specially desserts, coffee and baked items. Best place to hangout with friends.

My visit to Candies Café in Bandra was one of the most enjoyable and refreshing café experiences I’ve had in Mumbai. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a colourful, artistic, and lively atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and full of character. The café is known for its beautiful interiors, spacious seating, and charming décor that makes every corner picture-perfect. Whether you choose to sit indoors or enjoy the airy outdoor seating, the ambience makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Candies is famous for its wide variety of freshly prepared dishes—everything from sandwiches, rolls, and salads to desserts, pastries, and beverages. The best part is the display counter, which is filled with tempting options that make you want to try a little bit of everything. Their food tastes homemade, balanced, and full of flavour, making it perfect for both quick bites and long conversations. The desserts, especially the cakes and tarts, are a highlight and pair perfectly with their refreshing iced teas or hot beverages. The café is always buzzing with people—students, professionals, families, and travellers—yet it never feels overwhelming because of its large, multi-section layout. The staff is polite, the service is fast, and the pricing is quite reasonable for the generous portions they offer. What makes Candies truly special is the vibe. It’s more than just a café—it’s a place to unwind, meet friends, enjoy good food, and soak in the artistic charm of Bandra. Every visit feels memorable, and it’s easy to see why Candies is loved by so many.

Candies in Bandra is a really good place with great food and a lovely atmosphere. The Christmas vibe was amazing and made the visit feel extra special, it truly turned into a wonderful day overall. t.The food and desserts were really tasty and definitely a highlight. However, there was an insanely long and crazy line for ordering food, which was a bit tiring. Also, the seating could be improved, the chairs are very uncomfortable and feel quite old-style. Apart from these small issues, everything else was great. A charming place with good food and a beautiful festive setting.

Well, there are variety of options to choose from.. I love their American club sandwich and the pancakes...the atmosphere and the ambience is way too good .. the issue is that only one counter is open and their are long queues.. which htakes time in ordering . But after ordering the food arrives very soon... Overall great experience... The ambience is also next level crazy .

Great place for youngsters to hang out and great environment. Not suitable for little kids . Not suitable for elderly as no lift and no toilets on ground floor . Place should have some mosquito repellents. And toilers should have soap at all times . Putting pics below of Xmas decorations- they were beautiful

Omg this place is such a vibe in itself! No wonder it’s popular, visiting this today specially for Christmas definitely was a hit 🎉 Tried their Classic carrot cake which was so yum and to die for, soft and full of nuts and berries, I loved it for sure. Chicken club sandwich was okayish and their mini chocolate and lemon tarts were good too.

It is truly a hidden gem when it comes to food and ambience. Although slightly on the expensive side, it feels completely worth it considering café pricing in Mumbai. The ambiance really sets the place apart from similar cafes. It’s a multi-storey building with seating on every level, almost like walking through a maze that keeps surprising you with cozy nooks. The recurring theme is of Portugese style art and pottery which is reminiscent of old Cafes in places like Goa. The old glass lanterns on the ceilings and paintings a add a warm vintage charm. The upstairs and terrace levels are lush with greenery, making them ideal for spending time with family or friends in a relaxed setting. The chicken sandwich at just ₹100 is an unbeatable deal and a must-try. We also ordered cold coffee and latte, both of which were refreshing and well made. A standout was the unique “Passionate” drink (a passion fruit lemonade) that was tangy, refreshing, and perfect for a hot day. Their dessert selection is massive, with an array of pastries and cakes. The highlight for me was the carrot cream cheese cake—soft, creamy, and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Simply heavenly! In short: great food, amazing vibe, and plenty of space to sit back and enjoy. Highly recommended if you’re in Bandra!
