My pregnant wife was excited to find a wide selection of sour candy to satisfy her cravings. After eating several pieces, she realized the candy was 3 YEARS EXPIRED!!!. When we returned for a refund, the manager threw the candy away and brushed it off, refusing to check if other products were also expired. She even tried to negotiate the refund amount. DO NOT SHOP HERE you’re better off at your local 7Eleven.

Great selection of candy. Both US favorites and some you may only know from overseas. Good prices and friendly staff. Adjacent to the food court.

Don’t buy candy from this place. I bought about a half of pound of Butter Almond Crunch chocolate that’s located behind the glass which cost about $22.00 A Pound and when I got home to take a bite it was completely STALE!! The toffee was not fresh and chewy and chocolate and peanuts had a really strange taste and flavor to them too. I’m pretty sure they don’t change out the candy at this type of place. Don’t buy anything from this place. I end up finding a way better price online on Amazon

I'm giving one star because the store associates are nice. Everything is WAY over priced and they don't accept refunds for pre-packaged/sealed products from manufacturers. I bought a bag of Double Bubble gum to go in the gumball machine I purchased there because another store in the mall only had the gum in wrappers. Candy World is charging $30.99 for the same 3.3 lb of gumballs that Walmart has for $9. They would only do an exchange. The gumball machine was almost double in price but I didn't mind that because I couldn't wait for it to be delivered.

Buyer Beware. Read the fine print after the $3.49 on bulk chocolate candy price. That is a 1/4 pound price. It’s $14 a pound. And it’s STALE!!! I ate 2 pieces , it was nasty. Waste of $$. Treat yourself some place else!!

We dropped seventy dollars for a special candy date in lieu of trick or treating. Out of the candy in the bins more than half of it tasted old. Like it had been sitting around and consequently absorbing odors. Some gummies had an initial taste like walking through a Macey’s perfume section. Others just had this really off flavor that was hard to ignore. Again, much of it just tasted off.

Found krispie creme jelly beans here. Even better, found candy that you could whistle through like I remembered getting in my Easter basket as a kid. Bought them and put them in my kids Easter bag. They loved it. This store is very clean and has a nice selection.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. They follow you around the store like you stole something. Plus the candy looks like it’s been sitting there. If you are looking for a candy store I recommend going to Sweet Society in stone bridge where you get good service

Yelp
I am one who usually doesn't purchase sweets at a place like this one where several hands may have touched the cases, etc. They have all the typical US food brands represented. At the front display, they have some good varieties of European and other international chocolates and candies. Unfortunately, the wrappers did not look very new. Whenever I pass by this store (literally hundreds of times), it usually has one person stocking, maintaining, and processing sales orders. So, it sometimes doesn't look that great/very presentable. It makes me wonder if/when they rotate the items. I don't ever see any large signs for new items or discount/bargain signs for their popular candies. That's why I never ventured into this store. Today is the first day to actually peruse and purchase something small and sweet since I didn't want anything as big as an ice cream cone. Today may be the last day I venture there. Btw, I purchased a British candy bar since I had not have a Maltese in a very long time.

Yelp
Saw this candy shop while eating at the food court at Potomac Mills. While the chocolates and truffles were decent tasting and reasonably priced, it didn't taste very fresh. They don't have very much foot traffic probably, which would explain why everything tasted old..

Yelp
I was going to candy world to buy a friend some candy and the lady there was very rude. We decided that we were going to get a little pack of Reesie's Candy and when we got to the register the woman working there had weighed a big box of candy on top of the Reesie's and tried to charge me for that. Once we had made a comment that we were not buying that big box she had taken the box off and still charged me 24.95. I wasn't worried about the money that I was paying but it's the principle of her doing it. I did not appreciate that whatsoever.

Yelp
This store is ran by a rude woman. I go here once a week with my daughter because we love candy as well as the variety. I decided to write a review today because I've had it with this woman. I decided to go around a family who was blocking the way to the register, making it seem like I was leaving the store. I literally watched her run from the register, pushing the family and getting to me asking, "are you ready to pay?" This isn't the first time I've witnessed her do this but it was the first time to me. It was rude and I have never felt so embarrassed. Then when I went to pay she had me rang up by her other co worker. I didn't get an apology or anything for her rude allegation. It pisses me off because she sees us every Saturday and normally has a conversation with me. Maybe she's ill and needs to retire but that will never happen to me again.
