Had this restaurant on my list of places to visit. I had jury duty and I was close by so I decided to visit and the restaurant didn't disappoint. I place my order at counter and my order was delivered to my table. The burger was very good with generious portion of jalapeños. The fries were hot and fresh but lack taste. The decor was old school. Good place for a meal if your in the neighborhood.

Our office orders from here every so often, and the service is always excellent!! They handle our large group orders with accuracy and efficiency, and everything is well-packed and ready on time. The staff is friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. It makes coordinating lunch for a big team stress-free, and we really appreciate their reliability. Highly recommend!

Best Burger in San Antonio. Filling, value for money, the mustard was superb. Salivating writing this review thinking about how good it was. Decor was really nice too.

Went here for lunch during jury duty. I ordered online for pickup in case it was busy. It was almost packed by the time I got there around noon. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and added jalapenos with a side of onion rings. I was not disappointed. That burger was juicy and seasoned to perfection. The onion rings were thicc and crispy. I highly recommend this place if you are ever downtown.

Not your typical burger spot! I love the old school vibe this place has! This is some of the best food in the downtown area! Not very big so I don't suggest having a large group of people. Burgers aren't the only thing on the menu! They have something tasty and delicious for everyone! The chicken fried steak is one of my favorites, along with their amazing onion rings! Must try!

We were driving downtown & wanted to find a good burger. We searched restaurants, chose cuisine & picked hamburgers. Candy’s came up so we decided to try it out. As many times as I’ve driven down this street I’ve never seen this place. Parking isn’t the easiest, but what parking downtown is? The woman at the register that took our order was friendly & told us we order, go find a table & then they will bring our food out to us. Meanwhile, we enjoyed the atmosphere. They have an old radio as the cash register table, a bunch of memorabilia on the walls & 80’s tunes playing. When all the food came out we realized we ordered too much. Their basket of fries & rings are bigger than other places. We got the double cheeseburger & the Roy L Rogers burger, which was filled with much more bacon than I expected (had to be at least 6 slices of bacon on it) so I ended up sharing some of it. The burger really hit the spot! Good burgers, fresh basket of hot fries & a basket of onion rings, who could ask for a better lunch. Everything was delicious!
