"Wide, sandy Cane Bay Beach, on St. Croix, has a lot going in its favor: The medium-size surf, full-service dive shop, barbecue grills, and fun sites to snorkel make the beach popular with families, kids, and even dogs. Choose simply to rent some beach chairs and bask in the warm Caribbean sun, or opt for a game of beach volleyball or a swim in the clear waters."

Great beach with shade!! Easy access to the beach, trash cans, plenty of space. Stay close to the boat ramp for the best sand and less rocks.

Phenomenal beach! not too crowded, on a Tuesday midday, and plenty of shade, quiet. We enjoyed a few hours on this gorgeous beach and my husband saw two sea turtles while snorkeling near the shore. Lots of food vendors nearby as well. Ample parking along the street.

Found it to be a lot smaller than thought… nice beach bar & restaurant across the street with a killer Chicken Cesar wrap!! good place to view the sunset.

Our favorite spot of the trip. Great snorkeling, abundance of shade, drinks were 30 feet away or bring a cooler and the best island restaurant in my opinion. Food was a little pricey, but you only live once. I'd recommend water shoes and be careful of the sea urchins.

Beautiful beach and a very nice and scenic drive getting there. It was pretty busy, so if you want seclusion, this is not the place. But if you want a nice beach with friends and some good services around, it is a great place to go.

Our favorite beach on STX. The mountains in the backdrop, palms, great snorkeling, and amazing sunsets ☀️ set this beach apart! The water is usually pretty calm and there is a really nice sandy swimming area right near the old cement pier. Great restaurant options within short walking distance as well.

I am in love with this beach. Lots of shade, ambiance, Caught sight of a brown turtle there. I hear that the restaurant, whose name escapes me, posts on their Facebook page when they have local lobsters available. And they must be delicious because the line is long, long, long. I am sure this doesn't need to be said, but please clean up after yourselves. Less than half a mile east is the meeting point for one of the horseback riding outfits. Getting there can be a harrowing as riding in a cab in Boston. Roads are narrow, full of HUGE potholes. Drivers going insanely fast at times. But this beach is well worth risking life and limb for. Worth ending a sentence with a preposition for.

Great little beach area. We went on a weekday and had the beach to ourselves with parking right by.

Yelp
This is a nice beach on the island's North Shore. Parking here can get pretty tight. There is no designated lot. I had to find a spot on the side of the road. The beach has chair rentals and a boat ramp, but I am not sure if the ramp is operational. It is not a very large beach. I would say it is between a quarter to a half of a mile long. It has white sand and beautiful warm blue water. In addition to sitting out in the sun, you can snorkle, scuba dive or equus horseback ride (ride a horse in the water). They tout scuba divers being able to dive the world famous Wall, which is an area about 150 yards from the shore the depth goes from 35 feet to over 3,000 feet. The beach has access to some nice waterside bar and grills such as Leatherback Landing and Spratnet Beach Bar & Grill. On weekend they have a band out there that jams. Speaking of weekends. This beach can get a bit crowded. While I was there, there was a a large gathering of locals having a good old picnic. It looked like they were having a great time. This is one of the few designated beaches on the North Shore. It is a very low key and laid back place. It is a great time for all. I recommend checking this beach out, doing some of their fun activities and getting a good bite to eat and a savory tropical drink.

Yelp
What a great STX beach!!! It is in front of Sweet Bottom Dive Shop which is awesome. Great people. There's also The Landing restaurant which is one of our favorites on island! The sand is nice. Great for snorkeling and even better for diving. Walk in, swim out a bit and you are at a 1000 ft wall. Amazing!

Yelp
Nice beach. Street parking available. Not too busy early December. Lots of spaces to set up your own chairs, beach towels, etc. Shade available. I didn't see any umbrellas or chairs for rent The water was a little rough, but manageable. I did snorkel finding cute little fish. I did see a sea urchins very close to the shore. I would recommend water shoes at this beach. Right across the street, you can get some good food and drinks.

Yelp
While I was in St. Croix a couple months ago, this was on a lot of lists of 'Places to See' in St. Croix so I naturally had to go. It was a really nice beach. I did half of my dives here and the sealife was awesome to see. The 'Eat at Cane Bay' restaurant was pretty good too. Overall, the beach was great and the location was great as well.

Yelp
Saw lots of turtles, fish, sting ray and even a shark. Snorkeling was easy and fun. Very clean.

Yelp
Small beach. Nice water and decent snorkeling. We didn't dive or eat/drink at the nearby bars. We had a nice afternoon there nonetheless. It wasn't crowded at all. I'm sure we will be back.

Yelp
Amazing spot to hang at the beach. The food and drinks at the bar were great and the crowd fun.

Yelp
I will forever remember this place as the one place where I finally ventured out to snorkel without a professional guide next to me. It's been about time, too! In terms of sea life, there isn't much to see unless you to at deep sea diving off of this beach - which is what this place is super popular for, and from what I hear, it's amazing! But for s beginner like me who tends to chicken out in the water very quickly, I saw some beautiful sea anemones, but that's about it. It also didn't help that the sun chose to hide away that morning while I was in the water, lol. The beach itself is a little small, not too many amenities except eat@cane. However, the vibe is awesome, people fun and friendly. Overall, loved my experience here - and of course it will have s special place in my heart!

Yelp
What an amazing little dive shop with incredible people who work there. All the instructors are just lovely. each with their own badass personality. I didn't dive...but my partner did. He dive twice for $80.... And he had a FANTASTIC. Sometimes you'll see sharks, octopus...amazing fish. And the spot where their located...is perfection. Definitely give them a go.

Yelp
Awesome beach with dramatic mountain backdrops. Perfect for snorkeling and diving. On Sundays it can get more crowded as there's usually live music. You can rent beach chairs and there's even a neat bar right across the street. Definitely a must see in St. Croix.

Yelp
Nice snorkeling. We moved to St. Croix last year and have been on a quest to find the best beaches for snorkeling and swimming, not always available at the same place. This beach offers both. It's very pretty, with mountains up and down the coast. Unless you get there on a Sunday afternoon, it usually isn't super crowded. There are a couple of cool food options nearby, Eat Cane Bay and Off the Wall. The water for the most part is clear. The bottom is pretty sandy and further out you've got some nice snorkeling. There's a coral garden being grown and a neat underwater sculpture to check out. I would definitely put this on your list.
