Great food, and great customer service. Would highly recommend it

Food is crazy good , one of the best meals I've ever had. This is my second trip to Turkey , this place was recommended to me by a friend. İ had the beef shish kabob, it comes with a bunch of veggie plates that you can assemble into a tortilla like thing. Thinking about it, i wish k were there eating it right now ....

Great and fun place to have local food on the street (there's indoor too) Really like the experience. The only thing is their skewers seem pre-made.... it was lukewarm when served, kinda a let down. I mean still worth a try.

If you are a fan of liver, you will definitely like this place! You can either order liver in a wrap or liver skews with different side dishes. We had the wrap (16 TRY) and it was very yummy, especially the tomato salad next to it was very delicious. Besides that we have also ordered the traditional Turkish Joghurt drink "Ayran". It is homemade and very delicious too. Service is friendly and the food came very fast!

Canim Cigerim means: My Liver, My Love. Apparently (I'm not Turkish) This place is a must visit if you are in Istanbul and as the name indicates, it's well known for their chicken liver skewers. The menu is very simple, you can order skewers of Chicken Liver, Chicken Breast or just Meat (Beef) or get a wrap. With every order you do get appetizers which include thin pita, tomato based chutney (spicy and sour), Grilled Onions and Green Chilli's, Seasoned Raw Onions, Mint, Parsley. We munched on everything and were craving more as we left the place. Do not forget to order the fresh buttermilk with your meal.

A real Turkish delight! The menu is simple: it's either skewers of meat and chicken or Tudrums (non fatty kebabs). With that lots of delicious sides (salads, tomato sauce called roca, pickled chillies). Everything fresh and almost healthy.

Amazing place. Food is fantastic in this place. One of my favourite places in Istanbul. Will definitely visit again. Service is also great: last time it was a small group of friends and within 30 mins more friends joined and the staff were very accommodating and helped new people to settle and got our orders with no issues. A must try if you are visiting Istanbul. You have a choice between liver kebabs or meat kebabs. Or you can do a half portion of each. The accoutrements are a plate of roka, grilled tomato and grilled onions and peppers. Also a side of a popular turkish dish made of tomato, onions and parsley as well as a little pomegranate molasses. The kebabs are served with durum. It's open super late, I think til 5! So it's a great late night place. Also if you are unsure about trying the liver, maybe a little liquid courage could help you out! A good place to stop in after partying in Taksim. :o)

The kebaps here are sooo good. Highly recommend this to be one of the restaurants you visit if you have limited time in Istanbul. We ordered one of each kebap. None of us are fans of liver but 2.5/4 of us enjoyed the liver kebaps here. Service was great too.

Delicious, healthy and fresh, Canim Cigerim is an Istanbul institution and should be tried by everyone!

The food was excellent and the presentation was outstanding so I give 5 stars. If you want great Turkish food that is fresh and healthy this is a must stop. We stopped in front of the entrance where they had an employee selling sandwiches. When he invited us upstairs to the dining room I thought this was a hole in the wall one step above street vendor. How wrong I was. We were treated very graciously by the host as if we were in his home. Much better than we had been treated in some of the "fine" restaurants in Istanbul. They filled the table with garnishes of grilled vegetables, a minced parsley onions and tomato relish, tomatoes with red peppers and arugula. I ordered the kebabs in my wife ordered the Andani sandwich. Don't let the outside mislead you. Upstairs in the dining room everything is very clean and well cared for. All this for only 30 Turkish lira
