Stayed here twice, once in a private cabin and the other in a private room. Cabin: very well equipped and nice. Bunk beds plus a bit of an upper sleeping area. Private room: also nice but a tiny bit small for 4 of us (in a 4 bed). Communal kitchen was a nice size. It is a small hostel. Views of the Rockies and the 3 sisters are amazing. This is a hostel where you have to make your own bed. The price is well worth it and out of the town so you don't get much noise (maybe a train horn).

Amazing Stay with Exceptional Service! I had a fantastic experience at Canmore Alpine Hostel! The hostel is incredibly clean, from the common areas to the kitchen and washrooms. It’s rare to find such a well-kept place, especially at such an affordable price. Special shoutout to their staff Shelby, who went above and beyond to help me retrieve a pair of shoes I accidentally left behind. She took the time and effort to ship them all the way from Alberta to Vancouver, and I really appreciate her kindness. Overall, our stay was comfortable, affordable, and the staff made it truly memorable. I would highly recommend Canmore Alpine Hostel to anyone!

Alpine Hostel in Canmore is a cozy getaway just outside of town, offering peaceful forest vibes. The deck provides scenic forest views, perfect for relaxing. The facilities are great, with a TV room, living room, kitchen, and convenient guest parking nearby. Lockers are located in the basement near the laundry and washrooms. The reception staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the stay even better. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of rolled bath towels near the washrooms with a bin for used ones—something you don't often see in other hostels. Highly recommend!

Cozy, rustic cabin in Canmore, with stunning sunrise views of the Three Sisters from the large windows in the living room and dining room. Decently clean facilities. Well equipped kitchen. I appreciated that linens, towels, and complimentary tea/coffee were provided. It's pretty affordable (only 115$ for 2 nights in a 4-bed female dorm room), given that Canmore and Banff can be quite expensive! Great base for exploring Banff National Park.

We dont have a car so walking back and forth to get on the bus to go to the city center takes time. But the place is really good, the amenities are great. The view is awesome

This was a great place I hope to come back too someday. Although the rooms were small and tight, if you're using the room to sleep, it's great. The beds were good and the washrooms well kept. There was one shower out of order but that still left 3 male and 3 female showers with good heat and pressure. A nice common room downstairs with a pool table, board games and a TV, a nice room upstairs with comfy couches for all your butts preferences, (ultra soft sink in style to a more rigid cushions), beautiful view and access to trails with a beautiful deck out back. Few things to note, parking lots are small and very icy. I also feel like they are missing a nice spot with a fire pit and chairs outside. Other than that, I would come back here when I'm out with friends and family in the Rockies snowboarding or mountain biking.

As others have said, it’s the Alpine Club of Canada’s clubhouse first, and a hostel second. The entire facility is super clean including the bathrooms and showers. The kitchen is well organized. Beautiful views from the kitchen and living room, mountaineering art and decor throughout. Coin laundry in the basement, free soap and locked storage. The mattresses in the shared rooms are really thin, but otherwise I had a great stay.
