Canmore Downtown Hostel

This is an excellent hostel: I am a (decade) local of Canmore. Living here was an in-between means of housing. This place provided so much comfort and also security. I want to give a massive shout-out to Sam and Jason for being incredible people that I had the privilege to get to know. This excellent hostel compliments this excellent town... Excellently.

After staying in random motels in my trek across Canada I was so pleasantly surprised by the nice bathroom. The lodging is modest and spare but very nicely done and the price was great. I was anticipating a more chaotic lodging as I have never stayed in a hostel, but my private room was very quiet and I slept very well. I had a view of the Three Sisters from my room overlooking the parking lot (and my car, which was comforting!). There is food, coffee, and other amenities downstairs in the plaza. I did not need to go far to obtain a massive coffee in the morning. I will certainly try staying here again when I pass through

DC Hostel is a great place to stay. Free parking, elevator (if needed), secure, friendly, great kitchen and clean. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. I find the beds to be very comfortable. Kudos to the staff for taking care of the place.

First time living in a hostel, I came with my partner so we chose a private room with private washroom. We did cook in the common kitchen for a couple times, everything was very well maintained with more than enoughh cookware and utensils. We saw staff cleaning the kitchen and wiping the table after closing time, which is very appreciative. Room was neat and clean, the bed was way more comfy than I though! Had the best sleeps for three nights! Great value and easy parking, highly recommend this hostel.

This is my third consecutive year spending a week here, and every year it is a wonderful experience. the staff are super friendly, the hostel is immaculately clean, perfect location, everything you could want in an inexpensive place to stay. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Cleanest overnight environment I have ever visited. Friendly, helpful staff, well written instructions for details pertaining to rules and terrific descriptions of activities and opportunities to partake in the Bow Valley area. Underground parking in adverse weather a HUGE bonus.|Well priced. Central Location to convenience store, restaurants, coffee shop, liquor store, and transit system.

Awesome hostel. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Everything was clean, like the washroom, rooms, hall, kitchen, etc. The laundry is paid though. 3 bucks for washing and drying each. You can use the kitchen utensils to make food. The parking space is kinda limited, so be prepared. Be careful with etiquette. During my stay, Americans/Canadians/Russians responded positively when I greeted them with a "Hello" or a smile when encountering them in the washroom or room or the kitchen. Europeans, on the other hand, showed signs of disgust when you greet them the Canadian way. They won't respond at all.

A wonderful hostel in Canmore! It locate next to Beamers cafe and Subway. It is convenient for walking around and sightseeing. The hostel has good facilities such as a spacious and clean kitchen, clean restrooms. The 2 female receptionists are very charming, kind and professional! The views from the hostel are very beautiful and chill.
