Beautiful spot with awesome mountain views. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful. Kitchen was clean and functional. Stayed in the 8 bed shared room with ensuite bathroom. The privacy curtains, bedside power outlet, night light and locker made my stay more comfortable and convenient. Location was perfect. Away from downtown Canmore but was part of a complex with food options. Parking was good with a parking lot right outside the hostel with a carpark should that be full. Only feedback I have is that it would’ve been good for the bathroom sink to be larger as it was difficult to wash your face without water ending up on the floor.

First time staying in a hostel and in a mixed dormitory too! Am very impressed overall with the attached bathroom and shower within each dorm, the curtains for each bunk bed giving you the privacy you needed and the access security to each dorm. The kitchen is big and clean with all the appliances you need. The common area is bright with the windows that gives you the gorgeous views of the Rockies. The location is fantastic with the bus stop in front that goes to/from Banff. You can still hear the sound of train passing through the town but not as loud as some of the accommodations next to the railway track. Would definitely stay here again if I am travelling solo!

Charming hostel with friendly staff and a clean, peaceful environment. The only downside was some road noise outside. Conveniently located within walking distance of Main Street, with a bus stop to Banff right in front. A great choice for a longer stay.

This is by far the best hostel I’ve ever been to. It’s so clean, anytime you walk into a shared bathroom, you can be sure the entire room has or will have been cleaned three times that day. The staff are phenomenal. So kind and they have the most patience and best local knowledge. It’s really an incredible team. The check in process is very easy, with verbal instructions being given to every guest when they arrive. They have a very easy process for each guest who arrives after reception closes. Beautiful guitar hanging on the wall. Makes you sound great even if you can’t play. Don’t let shyness get in the way of using it; it can lead to very beautiful moments. Every room has an almost unbelievable view of the mountains. Sometimes you get to see elk outside from the main lounge as well. Tap water is great to drink, and the kitchen has everything. Sometimes even free donated meals. Towels are given at check in at no extra cost. Parking is easy. Hostel is very quiet at an appropriate time almost every single night, with the exception of the very occasional group that books the hostel. Hostel can be a very social and fun place if you let it be. Take some time off your phone for a bit in the lounge and you are bound to meet someone. And look around - see all the colours from the lounge, both inside and outside. The map on the wall, the people around you, the rainbow or sunset out the window. Sometimes in the quieter seasons they’ll have movie nights. This is a nice break from doing things outside in the winter. Talk to the staff! They are incredible people with so many stories. This hostel is an experience that you will not forget, and it was a pleasure working here.

This hostel is probably the nicest & newest facility I’ve ever stayed in. Very impressed with the cleanliness. I stayed in an all female dorm with bathroom & shower. The hostel is in a shopping center & convenient food options & right next to a bus stop. The busses are free around Canmore as well! My only concern was another female in the dorm’s lack of consideration. She took a shower for nearly an hour around 5am when the rest of us were trying to get our day started. Gotta be considerate when staying in a shared living space!

Great Hostel! It was a bit overpriced in summer like all the other hostels here in Canada, but overall, it was a great place to stay. The kitchen had everything you needed and clean. There are privacy curtains for each bed, which is amazing. The communal area is super nice with lots of light, lots of plugs to charge electronics, seats, and beautiful views of the mountains.

I stayed here for CAD 73 per night per person, and while it is on the higher side for a hostel, the quality definitely matched the price. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the overall standard of the place attracted guests who respected the space and atmosphere. The dorms were well set up with curtains on all beds for privacy and large lockable cupboards for storage, though you need to bring your own lock. Fresh linen and towels were provided, but guests are expected to make their own beds and return everything to a washing bin at checkout. The kitchen was one of the best I’ve seen in a hostel—fully equipped with multiple sinks, a large fridge, plenty of appliances, and even an air fryer. Bathrooms were unisex but always available, very clean, and had consistently hot showers. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the common room was spacious with lots of seating, making it easy to relax or socialize. Free parking was available outside, and the Wi-Fi worked without issues. Overall, this hostel was a great experience, and I would absolutely stay here again. The higher nightly rate was well worth it for the comfort and quality provided.

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Great kitchen, common room, bedrooms, staff - everything. I am definitely coming back in the future. ||I met a guy name Harry and another girl staff member (wish I knew her name) and they were lovely and so hospitable. Thank you for taking care of me and others!
