The location of the campsite is amazing. You're free to pick a spot to camp, whether that's inside the fence or outside of it. We chose to stay on top of a nearby hill, with a magnificent view of Canna and Sanday.
There are (clean) toilets and showers at the campsite, plus a cooking shack with a gas stove, pans, plates and cutlery, mugs, an honesty box, and a water tap. It also has a timetable for the ferry, plus a handy map of the island.
Isebail picked up our luggage at the pier, which meant we could leisurely walk to the campsite after arrival — a nice walk past the community shop, the cafe, Canna House, etc.
She brought us breakfast (ordered separately) on the last day and went out of her way to make sure it was vegan, with fresh fruit and a bottle of oat milk. After that she also took our luggage back to the pier, which meant a lovely, easy walk for us again.
