We went here because it was featured on diners drive-ins and dives. The recommended dish on diners drive-ins and dives was the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich which we tried. It was good but very rich. I don’t think I would order it ever again. The pretzel was very good and the french fries were delicious. The chicken tenders were good too! They have a lot of beers on the menu which is awesome!

Cup of clam chowder. Pastrami sandwich. French fries. 2 Lagunitas IPAs. 3 Ninkasi dawn of the red beers. That’s what I ordered. $67. Fair. Not cheap. Nice place. Lots and lots of beer options. Was pretty empty when I was there. On a Thursday. Just before closing.

Saw this place on an episode of diner, dives, and drives. So we checked it out. Food was okay. A tad bit pricey for what you get, but then again we were at cannery row/tourist area. Ahi poke was great, panko crusted sand dabs was really good, shortrib grilled cheese was okay, mahi tacos good but pricey for just 3 small tacos and came with no sides. Monkey bread donuts were tasty.

The beers 🍻 were tasty. We had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Street Tacos 🌮, which both were very good. The staff was very friendly.

My only complaint is that they don’t brew their own beer! But the beer selection is extensive nonetheless. The bacon cheddar biscuits, fries, fish and chips, and bleu cheese burger are highly recommended.

Fun place for lunch with a great beer selection. My husband and I both had a cup of clam chowder to start. It was fantastic. I had the short rib grilled cheese with a salad. My husband had the sand abs. We really enjoyed our food and beer. The restrooms are downstairs and unfortunately smell fairly strongly of sewer. That was really the only negative about the place.

Last weekend we celebrated my husband's birthday in Monterey. We basically ate and drank our way through town. Lol. Every place we stopped had good food and drinks along with CRBC but what set this place apart was the staff. Jeremy was so down to earth and cool that he made us feel like we were lifelong friends. I am a fan of scotch and whiskeys and always looking for something new to try so Jeremy took the time to seek out different brands I hadn't tried yet. That was Saturday, well when Sunday came around we found ourselves back here. This time we met August and Mark, two equally accommodating and down to earth guys behind the bar. Again we felt like we had known them for years. We didn't try and plates but are definitely going back to do so the next time we are in town.

Sat at the bar for a late lunch and August the bartender was really friendly and gave good service, despite taking care of several parties at and near the bar. They have a good selection of beer and the food was good, too. Had a soup and salad, including clam chowder and citrus vinaigrette dressing for the mixed green salad. Added mahi mahi for an extra charge and it was a bit oily, but cooked and seasoned perfectly. Paired it with a tasty Ratel draft dry cider, which I was told is locally made. This place was definitely one of the better options in the cannery row area.
