Cannibale Royale Ruysdael

Came in on my own on an early Saturday evening. Didn’t have a reservation but was able to have a bar style seat. Ordered the Cannibale Royale burger with fries. Fries were excellent. The burger was really well made with high quality ingredients. Personally I’d have liked a bit more salt and vinegar with it. A few pickles, even one on the side, would have been good. Just lots of sweet umami parts to it. It’s nitpicking but would have balanced it somewhat. Still very good food and the prices aren’t bad. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Excellent place if you want a meat dinner in good but informal setting.

We had Modest steak with sweet potatoes and it was a heaven in mouth . Exactly Medium rare! Oh my god perfect And the pickled onion perfect detail Recommend this place I am giving 20 from 10 😆

As always, a perfect night here. I love a classic spot in Ams, and of course Cannibale is always full, but Jacky was the best waitress ever (and smiley 🥰) — she went above and beyond to get us a table. Thank you! I loved my “Modeste” meat 😋

최고의 레스토랑! 직장동료 추천으로 처음 갔는데 이젠 암스에서 몇 년째 가고 있는 찐 맛집이에요. 부모님이랑 셀카 찍고 있는데 직원분이 다가와 가족 사진 찍어준다고 했을 정도로 정말 다들 친절했습니다 :) My parents flew all the way from South Korea to visit me, so I wanted to make sure they had the best experience possible in Amsterdam. A colleague recommended this restaurant, and I’m so glad we followed their advice bc it was absolutely worth it!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to recommend the best dishes on the menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. The rib steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful gesture from one of the staff members. While we were taking a selfie, she kindly offered to take a proper family photo for us. It’s little things like that that turn a good dinner into a genuinely heartwarming memory. ☺️ My parents said it was the most delicious meal they had in Amsterdam, and I couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for a meaningful family dinner or a place to share a special moment with loved ones, I highly recommend this restaurant! 🩷🩷

The restaurant is beautiful, the steak is delicious, and the portion size is just right for one person. The service is excellent, and the staff are friendly.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. The beef ribs, bone marrow, ceasar salad and garlic butter in the photo.. We also love the loaded nachos The whole staff is always sweet and helpful, especially Jacky and Maas.. Make sure you reserve a spot, walk-in might be difficuly

Very disappointing experience. My friend ordered short rib. It arrived frozen inside and only warm on the outside. We pointed this out to the staff and they said they would bring a new one. 10 minutes later they brought back the exact same piece of meat just reheated. I think is unacceptable and unhygienic. We also ordered a steak. it was burnt on the outside and raw inside. the brownie for dessert was hard and cold. So myltiple dishes in one visit were badly prepared and it completely destroyed our trust. We won’t be coming back.

This was such a fun place to come with local friends. The menu was inclusive for all, veggie and meat lovers. Cauliflower wings were awesome, sweet potato fries were good too and the burgers were really really enjoyable and satisfying. My only recommendation is working on their burger temperatures. We asked for medium and they were very well done. Other than that, fun and friendly scene! Great drink options.
