Cannillo

Wow! What an amazing deli. Very helpful and delicious. Cannillo was recommended by a friend we were visiting. We walked in and obviously looked confused and fascinated. The shop owner explained the sandwich menu and how it worked. We ordered and watched in awe as he made it sandwiches, enjoying the amazing smell of the fresh baked bread. He then gave us suggestions as to where we could enjoy our picnic lunch, we opted for the Rose Garden down the street by the beach. The sandwiches are HUGE. We could have easily split one but selfishly, I'm glad we did not.

Having grown up on Cannillo’s, I have only grown more attached to this place the older I get. From birthday caterings and graduation to sandwiches and quick dinner fixes, this family owned Italian location invites costumers to indulge in an authentic Italian experience. Will always highly recommend!

The most delicious and rustic Italian sandwich ever made in the vicinity of Hellerup and possibly the universe. Also only 50 kr. Decent size. Nice people.

Must try this sandwich! I really recommend it when you visit in Denmark.I can guarantee that you will definitely come back again like what I used to do. Taste so goood! in a very affordable price, it’s also quite big.I usually save the other half for later 😊

Their sandwiches are the best. For only 50 kr you can get a delicious combo of Italian bread, pasta, a meatball and your favorite meat (I prefer Parma ham) It's delicious a enough for 2 people and it's perfect for a trip to the beach. The food is authentic Italian food with a place run entirely by an Italian family.
