This was my first time staying at this concept of a hotel for Hilton. I absolutely love it! Their energy efficient and sustainability choices in the rooms and in the building in general was such fresh air to be a part of. Everyone was so very friendly and the layout of the room itself was so very thoughtful. I loved all the extra hooks, the water situation with a refillable GLASS bottle, the conveniently located ice machines on each floor, the shower is even thoughtful! The knob to turn it on is away from where the water comes out so you don't get sprayed with cold water when you turn it on. It seems like the design was created by someone who travels a lot! The bed was very comfortable and the layout with the barn doors was visually very appealing. The hair dryer even had a concentrator! What a great hotel overall. Service in the restaurant - Cindy Lou's - was very friendly and the omelette was delicious. If I had any constructive criticism, the coffee station on Sunday morning was empty but someone very quickly brought me coffee in a small pitcher that you would use for In Room Dining. Great experience.

We stayed here for the Maryland Cycling Classic and for that the location was perfect. We could easily walk to the teams presentation, the finish line and the best viewing location for the race (the Thames street cobbles). But it’s also a fantastic location for fun Baltimore stuff in general. The hotel rooms were clean, and quiet and our view was beautiful. The pool table is a fun touch and I appreciate the filtered water station. I liked that we were able to pre-pay for a late check-out. We got good service from everyone and the hotel punches above its price-class. The attached restaurant and bar, Cindy Lou’s, is a great amenity. We’ll be staying here again for the race next year.

I had a great experience overall! I arrived early—around 11 AM—due to my flight, fully aware it was before the standard check-in time. The front desk staff informed me there had been a power outage earlier, which delayed room cleanings. Despite this, they kindly said they would prioritize my room since I had already arrived. I left my bags with them and went to grab a bite to eat. To my surprise, my room was ready a little after 1 PM—such a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. I stayed for five nights while attending a work conference, and everything was excellent. The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean, and I had no complaints. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time with our dog, Lucy, and we were incredibly pleased. Its location is excellent and it's tucked away from the main strip's bustle, yet it offers great views of the harbor. The hotel and surrounding area are very dog-friendly, which was a major factor in our decision. While the restaurant was closed during our stay, we were able to use our daily breakfast credits for the first two days, thanks to our Amex Platinum and Hilton Gold status. The complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony on the 9th floor was a lovely bonus; although it faced an office building, we still had a nice side view of the harbor. Note: Only the rooms on the 11th and 12th floors have a view facing the harbor.||Room|The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-designed. I especially appreciated the ample space for luggage, including a dedicated rack and an extra area near the coat rack. The bathroom was also a good size, with plenty of counter space around the sink and a large shower.||The only real issue we had was the bed, which felt too soft and seemed to have a noticeable dip. I ended up sleeping on the other side, which made it more comfortable. We also found the comforter to be quite warm. Even with the AC set to 65 degrees, we were a bit hot, which I suppose is a testament to how well they work!||Restaurant (Cindy Lou's)|Cindy Lou's, the hotel's restaurant, is currently undergoing renovations under new ownership. I liked that it offered both indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect for dog owners in the area. The food was quite good, and I had the best fried green tomatoes there! The service was attentive and the prices were reasonable for the neighborhood. It was a shame we couldn't use our daily breakfast credits there more, as it closed on Sunday before our Tuesday checkout.||Service|The service was exceptional, particularly from Jasmine, the Assistant General Manager. When my husband and I were speaking with Dawn about our hotel charges, trying to track how we were using our Amex and Hilton Gold credits and if our pet fee would count, Jasmine kindly stepped in. She clearly explained that the Hilton credits are on a "use it or lose it" daily basis, which we hadn't realized. Seeing our situation, she went above and beyond to adjust our account so we could use almost all of our credits during the stay, including the pet fee. We couldn't be more thankful for her help, including Dawn's.||Location & Parking|The hotel is tucked away in a quiet part of Fells Point, yet it's an easy 10-minute walk to the main strip with high-end restaurants and shops. We always felt safe, and Lucy had a great time meeting new people and dogs while enjoying outdoor dining. The parking, however, is quite expensive. You have two options, a nearby self-parking lot or valet. We chose self-parking as it was slightly cheaper and more convenient since we were leaving and returning often.||Overall, we had a fantastic stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Google
The service was pretty great. However I was shocked by several situations that occurred. 1. While the room gets maintained daily and is very nice to have. The room never received the coffee being restocked and there was no facial cleaning soap in the restroom. That of course is small… except for the coffee definitely need that daily haha. The other issue is the parking. While trying to park I can either pay $28 for 4 hours on the street or I may park in the garage for $60 a night. The best option is utilizing Valet at $55 a night just for parking. The sad situation I ran into is that I was given the price and not the hours of operation so in return my flight flying out at 6:30am and no one is available to get my vehicle at 4:30am. They advised I can have the keys and search for my car but they cannot tell me where it is parked. That was quite frustrating. All this followed by being advised I will not receive the points for my stay being I booked through my companies booking site which is very odd to me because I have received the points every time I’ve used it in the past.

Spent 4 nights at the Canopy and had an amazing stay. The property is located right by the water. Requested a room with a view of the water and it was so serene. The hotel staff from the valet, check-in and housekeeping were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean which made the 4 nights feel like home. The hotel is located in a central location to explore on foot the surrounding areas or just sit outside by the water and relax. I will be back here to stay the next time i am in Baltimore for sure.

Google
This a TRUE 5-star hotel stay. The food, the staff, the spacious rooms. I had an upgrade to the "Harbor View in my room it was so beautiful. The room was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room had a free coffee bar, that was a HUGE plus for me. I really enjoyed my stay. I am looking forward to my future return.

Google
Overall a really nice experience! The rooms were clean and spacious, even if they have barn doors everywhere (it's fine - they are the new "thing" - so will not hold it against them), had plenty of outlets/chargers, and really everything you want for a night or two. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The views are GREAT and the noise level was low in the room. Parking was pretty expensive ($50 for 18 hours via self park if I remember), but they offer both VALET at the front door and SELF PARK a few hundred feet away. It was really a seamless experience overall and it's in a perfect location - just far enough away from loud/busy night life, but easy walking distance to it.

Yelp
I stayed at the Canopy, while in Baltimore for work. I selected the hotel based upon the location, which was ideal for my needs. I opted for online check-in and a digital key, but my WiFi/cell service was really poor in the hallway and ultimately, I had to sheepishly drag myself to the front desk for a key. My room was spacious and had a fantastic Harbour view. The room was clean with super comfortable bed. The shower was too complicated for me, though. An unexpected bonus was free coffee in the lobby in the morning. I ordered room service from the lobby restaurant and it was super delicious with huge portion! Your room has a glass bottle to refill down the hall by the elevators, which I really appreciated - not only green, but it saved me a trip to a bodega for a water. Overall, I had a great stay at Canopy and intend to stay here during future visits!

Yelp
So I switched it up this time when visiting the city, and I'm absolutely happy that I did. Now, there wasn't anything wrong with the previous hotel that I stayed in, but I just wanted to get a change of scenery and stay in a different part of downtown. This hotel offers valet parking only, and as soon as I parked and went in, I was greeted with a smile. Check-in was seamless, and I was placed on a high floor. I was informed there wasn't an executive lounge, but with my perks, a daily food credit would be given. My room was super cute, and I had a nice view of the Harbor. I even used the gym, which lacked AC on the day I worked out, but I pushed through my workout in the decent gym area. Attached to the gym is a cute sitting area that also looks over the harbor. Breakfast and service were great, and I'll definitely keep them on my list when returning to the city.

Yelp
What an amazing experience!!! I would definitely stay there again. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and such comfy beds. The AC could work a bit better, but it was very hot and windows all around. So, I definitely understand why they were not cooling as I would have liked. Loved the Nespresso machine in my room, too!! They have a beautiful lobby with pool tables to relax in, and a bar where you can sit and take in the view of the water. I definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
I do not know how to begin putting our experience at the Canopy Harbor Point into words. I will start by saying that the front desk manager, Robert, is what all hotels should model their managers to be. He was accommodating and went above and beyond to make our first time in Baltimore memorable. Because of him, we stayed for an additional night. We got to interact with his employees, and they spoke so highly of him. and we could tell he trained them to give the same level of service as them. Everything about this hotel was terrific. Now that we live in D.C., we will certainly be back because the views, service, and rooms are top-tier with no issues, and I have bad OCD. The room was clean, and the staff always asked if we needed anything. You will not be disappointed at this hotel. You are within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and shopping in the area.

Yelp
6/21 visit: We came down to visit family and decided to stay at Canopy. The prices were reasonable and it was located on the Inner Harbor side, which is basically downtown almost. The hotel is beautiful and convenient to a lot of restaurants and shopping within walking distance, especially if you want to avoid finding parking and paying crazy prices for parking. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They were always available to assist and offer suggestions. Our room was spacious and had a nice view. They have restaurant inside the hotel, however we opted to venture out. They do offer valet parking for $49 which seems like the going rate for all parking in that area. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Yelp
I really enjoy this property. It's newer, very clean and modern in a great walkable location. It's on the waterfront which only makes it that much better. We had a partial view room each time, this most recent visit would qualify as a full view to me, at a lower level I would guess the view would be partial, but on the top level it was lovely. Bar area is lovely and while we've never eaten here, the restaurant has a lot of traffic. Elevators are located basically right behind the check in desk and you'll need a floor specific key to utilize and navigate to your room. Glass water bottles provided in the room with a filtered water dispenser in the hall next to the ice machine. Additionally, they provide actual glassware and mugs vs the typical Hilton paper versions. The Nespresso machine was complicated but available and worked well if you can outsmart it. A small fridge "drawer" is built into the cabinetry. Lots of USB and plug options available as well as a smart TV that is controllable from the Hilton app. Take advantage of the walk out small "deck" on the 9th floor roof off of the gym area with Adirondack chairs and more water & Domino Sugar factory views. Walkable to Fells Point, Little Italy, Inner Harbor, Canton.....and speaking of walking, do yourself a favor and park in the SP + parking garage, its a block or maybe two away but less than half the price and zero frustration compared to what the hotel offers. Drop your bags at the hotel and pick them back up when you check out.....sooo easy! We paid $9 for 24 hours on a weekend (I think the daily weekday rate was $18). It's an hourly garage, so if you're in and out those charges would calculate that way. We ubered to dinner in Little Italy due to a time constraint and walked the rest of the weekend, everywhere, added together the total was still cheaper than that adjacent garage. The hotel valet system is frustrating and the self park option is complicated and more expensive than the valet. You're welcome.

Yelp
Nice, chic hotel in a great location with great service. My room had a nice view of the Harbor. It was clean and comfortable. We also had a meeting here and our meeting room was very nice. I love the lobby space, as well. The bar and restaurant close fairly early, but we went in the bar as it was closing and the nice bartender still took care of us. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Love everything about this hotel except the parking. Great views of the harbor. First rate restaurant in the lobby (one of my faves in Baltimore --Cindy Lou's). Fun lobby. Lots of things in walking distance. Clean rooms. Super helpful and friendly staff. Now the parking. Sucked. You can only do valet despite garage next door. Circle in front is too small for the amount of traffic and gets backed up. Not friendly. Under staffed? On checkout had it wait 30 mins to get the car. The "text for my car" service kept erroring out. The excellent hotel Receptionist took charge and started ordering around the parking guys. And $49 a night for that!! They really have to fix the parking problem. At least allow self park.

Yelp
Lovely stay. Staff was helpful, food was delicious, bed comfy. It was very centrally located between Felds Point and inner harbor

Yelp
I had bought fully paid Room With River View for my family trip to Baltimore. We came 5 minutes early. The lady said, the hotel is empty so have a "beautiful room" for you, please wait and give us sometime. We said, ok. We waited and then checked in with a guy with piercings at 4:05. He looked around, looked at the book many times, chewed his gum and then gave us room 915. Okay, we went to the room. It was the worst room, we could only see Morgan Stanley Building. I am like, okay, so how is this a "beautiful room". I went back and asked to change. The "guy" now changed our room 2 floors up, we now see the Morgan Stanley building and some water. I do not know why and what was the problem. Hotel was empty. I had paid for a Room with River View, yet we were given the worst room. The room also had issues. The faucet one side was broken. The shower had issues in getting warm water. The on-site restaurant was very very expensive. We went couple minutes early and the staff was also not pleasant. The restaurant was empty, I am like, okay, so can you please be nice, I have small kids with me. We decided to eat at Whole Foods, which was amazing. The hotel has beautiful location. But cmon guys!

Yelp
Stayed a few days for a wedding and one employee by the name of Lanesha(spelling) was rude and unprofessional to several members of the group I was with. Then saw he berate a couple having dinner because they sent a cocktail back. Also an employee by the name of Jaylon manning the front desk screamed at top of his lungs at a group saying hello by the front door. Unprofessional and rude staff. Hotel was in good location but the attitude of several staff makes it a "no" for next time I'm in town

Yelp
For an urban chic hotel experience, book at the Canopy Baltimore Harbor Point. My family of three did an overnight trip here from D.C. and here's our experience: 1) Space: It's a new hotel with a design-forward, inviting lobby complete with a fireplace, pool table, study tables and a bar/restaurant. The rooms are spacious and also designed well with trendy wood panels and a sliding door. The bathroom is slick with a spacious shower with a detachable shower head. Our room (942) came with a balcony overlooking the harbor. 2) Location: It's in Harbor Point close to lots of new development. There are several restaurants and a Ceremony Coffee around the corner. Walk 5-10 minutes along the water to get to Fells Point with cobblestone streets, restaurants and a food hall (Broadway Market). There's a parking lot in the building that costs just over $30 for 24-hour parking. You text to pay making it an easy customer experience. 3) Amenities: The hotel's restaurant and bar is often popping! The bartenders make a wide range of cocktails (and mocktails if asked) that you can charge to your room and take up to your room (perfect for parents of young kids stuck in their rooms as their kids sleep). They have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu too. The lobby is a great place to relax and hang out. On the 9th floor is a spacious gym with harbor views and a balcony to hang out on. They also provide free bikes during warm days and a $5 breakfast bag that you hang on your door if you want an easy breakfast for on the go. If you love an urban chic hotel experience, book at the Canopy. Our room was just over $100 for one night.

Yelp
People make all the difference and everyone at the Canopy were exceptionally friendly, nice, articulate, and helpful. Front desk welcome wonderful and knowledgeable. Clearly, the management takes care of its people, and their pride shows in their work. The hotel is relatively new, about a year. Everything is spotless. Well-appointed in pleasing colors and artwork. Warm cozy lobby with gas fireplaces. Urban Chic! The bed was super comfortable. Quiet hotel. Great location with stunning views of the harbor. My room had a balcony with partial harbor view. Coffee machine in room. There is a gym and outside lounge area. Nice. Canopy is eco friendly. A bottle is provided for you to get filtered water next to the ice machine on each floor. Excellent restaurant on site. (Separate review). No parking on site, but readily available in the adjacent lot. Convenient location near some phenomenal restaurants in Harbor East and Fells Point. A nice memory of Baltimore.

Yelp
This place is a low-tier hotel masquerading as high-end. The good: the location is nice, the rooms are modern and spacious, and everything generally feels new. I had way more space and comfort than I expected, and it was lovely to be able to walk to nice brunch spots. The bad: This place is busy and basically falling apart despite its newness. Random things (including the AC in my friends' room!) were already broken, and the staff seemed to have no desire to fix it. The parking garage is like a maze, not specific to the hotel, and you can easily get towed until you realize the right parking spots (they're outdoors and a long walk away). The staff won't give you the time of day, and don't seem to want to be polite or put much of an effort in. The hotel is CROWDED, and hall noise/drama is common (there were multiple instances where there were crying people in my hallway). Honestly, I'd probably not stay here again.

Yelp
First visit to this property. I really appreciated the warm welcome after an extremely long day. Waking up to the harbor view was stunning and reflective. Little things like nespresso coffee and environmentally friendly water bottles (filtered water dispenser on the floor) makes a huge statement. The rest of the Hilton brand should follow. Thank you.

Yelp
Baltimore-local staycation experience (Hilton Diamond member)! For the most part, I had a wonderful experience at the Canopy. My stay somehow tied into Preakness and a wedding that was occurring on-site, so it was a BUSY! Even with the busyness, the staff were working hard to accommodate everyone. I loved my room and how clean and cool it was during my hot summer stay. Would recommend!
google avatar

Christie S.

Yelp
This is my new favorite hotel! It's so lovely. I had stopped using Hilton properties and went to the Marriott until I discovered the canopy.

Jim J.

Yelp
Came here for a two night stay which has been pretty disappointing so far (I'm still here first night). We chose this hotel due to the location and the fact they state on their website that they had a mini fridge in the rooms. First room we went into had a broken "cooler drawer" which my wife needed for storing her medication. The front desk stated none of the rooms had mini fridges, isn't that false advertising? The room also didn't have a view, it was blocked by a building being constructed which they failed to mention. Second room we went into to had even worse view and also bugs! Not sure if it was bed bugs (see picture) but we found a few of those around the room. We complained and they mentioned they would move us to the room next to the original room. Too tired at this point and will not be coming back to this location and cannot recommend anyone else to do the same. This isn't a four star hotel, more like 2.5 star hotel.

John Kevin G.

Yelp
Got to stay here for a weekend, AND with three wedding parties. I loved the atmosphere of the room, the lounge lobby, and the sights I was able to see from my room. Room service was very kind and the bar/bartenders were very accommodating. A lot of the restaurants, bars, and even the aquarium are within walking distance from the hotel. Would love to come back for another visit and I highly recommend this hotel.
google avatar

Rana K.

Yelp
For the most part this hotel is great. Location is waterfront but the balcony rooms are facing a building with partial view of water. King bed was wonderful. Fitness center is small but has everything you need. Check in was easy but they didn't offer drink tickets with gold status. Instead the bar tender had to mention it then front desk clerk rolled eyes and then offered them. Parking in downtown Baltimore is ridiculously expensive. We found a cheap secure loophole. There's a SP+Parking two blocks away. For check in on Friday and out on Sunday we paid $14 total. The whole area is safe to walk in so park in front take your bags to room then go park your car. Otherwise you will pay $49/night for valet or $45/night in any of the premium parking garages

Yelp
Great overall experience at the Canopy!! Location is unbelievable, within walking distance to Inner Harbor, Fells Point areas. The views of the river from the Bar/Restaurant areas never get old(especially sunsets). The Terrace on the 9th floor is comfortable and relaxing anytime. Restaurant: Complete menu with a flare for the local Baltimore seafood is featured. Plenty of Bar seating options featuring some of the best service I have had post Covid travel. ***Room Choice Tip- Ask for one of the corner suites, great views***

Yelp
In short, it was an OK experience, but left me thinking I could have stayed in a better Hilton hotel and left more satisfied. Here are the details: ~ Ambience / Hotel: I have never stayed in a Canopy before, but it reminded me kind of an Aloft hotel upon entering. One of the weirdest things I encountered at this hotel was that it only had a restaurant/bar and had no gift shop / side place to get a soft drink and quick snack. So, had to stop by the nearest 7-Eleven. I personally didn't like the feel of the hotel upon entry. ~ Parking: I didn't realize there was a garage at the hotel so I parked in the adjacent lot nearby, which allows you to pay at the parking kiosk for an extended period of time. Not being from the area, it was confusing on how to get to the hotel initially, but figured it out. Parking is the reason I despise downtown cities anywhere... ~ Room: It was a unique room. Had a great view and balcony, though. The floor was like uneven and felt weird while you walked (I wonder if that had to do with the construction below going on, which had quite a bit noise during the early mornings and throughout the day). I did like the canopy lighting at the back of the bed headboard. As far as the bed is concerned, I think the sheets, the covers, and pillows need a better feeling; certain Hilton hotels always feel like they're rough and nylon-ish. I think a previous reviewer mentioned that they stood in water while in the shower - same thing happened to me; it's weird that the drain isn't in the middle when the shower head is in the middle. Pressure was good and very warm, though. I didn't like the tiles in the shower - it hurts your feet while you're in there. The room had thin walls; I could hear the people next door having sex, and it was late at night too. If you're out on the balcony (9th floor), you can still hear the neighbors and there's not much privacy out there either, despite the dividers.

Yelp
Was invited to attend a reception for the Morgan on the Vineyard alumni association. Parking was super hard to find since the one spot I found that was in walking distance. The parking meter was not available for use and definitely I didn't want to get a ticket. The one garage near by you need to download an app in order to pay and park. So we parked a few streets away. The atmosphere was nice and open. Love the decor and will try to be back to dine at the restaurant that was inside.

Yelp
The Lady who served us was very nice and respectful. The Service was not well , I do think they could have done better with my order . The food took very long , from the time that we ordered. I don't recommend this place for dining.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay emenesly! The moment we walked in I knew I wanted to complete my road trip vacation here at the canopy but unfortunately it was going to be a short stay. This hotel is in the perfect location right by the harbor, the view from our room was amazing. The decor in the room was exquisite, Everything to me seemed pure elegance. Drinks and the food was amazing. I was very pleased. What was more important is that they were pet friendly! Next time we drive to Baltimore this will be the hotel we stay in. We definitely loved our stay

Yelp
There were many parts of our trip that could have made for a miserable trip, but with each one, the staff at Canopy accommodated us and made this stay well worth it. The staff here goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and amazing. Our arrival was delayed past our first night in the reservation, but when we arrived at 0930, the staff was able to get us checked into a room so we could get comfortable. The next day, we were supposed to switch to a larger room (two different reservations) and were not able to move due to availability. So Caly let us leave our belongings in the room until the other room was ready. But when we returned later in the evening, our luggage was already moved to the new UPGRADED room!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. First class accommodations without being over priced. Fantastic restaurant in Bar. Directly on the wharf.

Terry D.

Yelp
The hotel is quite lovely with an interesting vibe, and the room stays nice and cool all night which scores a lot of points for me! But that PARKING DOH! Since I arrived so late or early depending on how you look at 2:00am, I finally took street parking. I couldn't figure the garage out! I went into the deck by The Canopy, couldn't find an entry door from the garage that didn't require a key card so I drove out after 30 minutes of looking. When I drove out, I was by the Constellation building! How did that happen? Anyway, if not for the parking situation I might have rated it higher.

Yelp
Checkin time is 4pm, our room wasn't ready until 6:24pm. Not sure if housekeeping was short and they were understaffed to flip all the rooms? We were never given an explanation but toiletries/amenities were sparse in our suite. They left us a single shampoo, a single conditioner and a single bar of soap. Oh, and a loofah. Our box of tissues had about 4 left before it ran out. The reception staff was busting their ass, amazing effort and very special shout out to Crystal who apologized profusely for the delay and treated us to drinks at the bar to make up for our wait. Once in the room, we were amazed by the view and the floor to ceiling windows but still bummed we missed watching the sunset from the suite (something we expected to do during our stay). The rooms are gorgeous!

Yelp
S M 5/5 3 minutes ago on Google This hotel owes me nothing!! from check in to parking. Five stars to Ebony for going above and beyond for my birthday weekend. Excellent location was perfect close to everything you can imagine. 5 min Walk to Fells Point was nice and inviting area With cobblestone roads and brick sidewalks that reminds you of little villages in Italy. Park, tons of eateries, shops, bars, convenient store etc. Also about a 20 min walk to the Aquarium area where there's many things to do also sort of like the downtown area with lots of similar things as Fells Point but your average eateries. Rooms were in great condition clean nice views of the harbor. Just an overall great experience.

Yelp
Made a quick stop on our DMV trip to Balitmore. We were 100% pleased with this Hilton property. This is hotel is in the perfect location. It is right on the harbor. The views from my room, were amazing. The pictures speaks for themselves. We booked a room with a balcony and a view of the harbor. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Now, parking in the area is real expensive. So we went ahead a valet parked. The valet guys, as well as thw front desk people, were extremely nice and friendly. They were very helpful. Now I will say, everything closes around 10 pm around here, except McDonald's and Taco Bell. And there are no vending machines nor no place to purchase drinks or snacks in the hotel after 10pm. But that's more of a negative on the city then the hotel. But overall, the views and the pure elegance of the hotel is worth it. I will definitely, stay here again next time I'm in Baltimore.

Yelp
Great spot for a date night! There is a lot of construction going on but it didn't bother us or our view from the River view. The restaurant in the hotel was so convenient and delicious. The views were amazing.

Yelp
We tried to book a room online with Hilton at a fixed nonrefundable rate. After hitting the "Book" button, we received a message saying "Sorry, this didn't work," and telling us to call Hilton. We did. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to honor the online rate and instead hiked it, resulting in a charge that was over $100 higher than the rate that we thought we had locked in online. Next time, we will book through a third party service rather than directly wth Hilton.

Yelp
Took a quick weekend trip to "just getaway" and celebrate my husband and my birthdays. We were 100% pleased with this hotel decision and always have loved the boutique style of hotel the Canopy offers. As Hilton Diamond members, we booked on points and this hotel (and the room specifically) was one of the better points offerings I've seen in a while. We stayed in a king bed balcony room with harbor view and the room was chic, clean and had a great view of the harbor. The hotel was in walking distance of many, many great restaurants and parking was really convenient. Also has a great lobby, restaurant/bar, and all the things! Staff was super nice as well. We will definitely be back to visit and stay here.

Yelp
Wanted to honestly love this hotel. Stayed for a night for a business trip. Completely understand staffing issues but, the lack of leadership and management will be the demise of this lovely hotel. We were checked in an were upgraded to a side view of the bay/harbor. Left out after a quick work meeting via zoom. Came back and "Valet" was closed. So that was a little weird...understandable I guess, staffing issues? We got in a little late so husband had to park our own car across the street. 7:58 am was awaken by a "constant" jackhammer like sound from an very "close" but unknown area. Tried to work through the constant noise, and even through breakfast via in room dining. Management comped us our stay. Sadly, we had pre-booked another night the following week and requested to have that night cancelled. We couldn't "afford" an incident like that from happening again. Hopefully, things will get sorted out and perhaps that we could possibly give Canopy another try. We really like the location and the proximity of everything. We'd rather pay for a good stay instead of ever being comped for a horrible one again.

Yelp
Actually I think it will be one of favorite place! Place is just near by sea! View and ambiance perfect! We took a few things; -Lobster Po'Boy Sweet Potato Roll ($26) -Carrot and Ginger Soup ($12) -Roasted Beets and Watercress ($14) All was yummy! I wasn't feel good for my stomach this is why I have chosen soup! It was the best choice I think! Now I will go often for that soup! Perfect!

Yelp
I wish I could rate this hotel higher because I love the Canopy brand. The Canopy in Bethesda, MD is one of my favorite hotels in the DC metro area. I think many of the issues at this hotel currently are due to COVID. There is a major staff shortage. The staff I encountered were all very nice and doing there best, but it was obvious they were overwhelmed (plus it was a Friday night). The lobby is very loud due to the restaurant in the hotel (Cindy Lou's Fish House). Not my scene, I prefer a hotel to be quiet and relaxed with a spa like vibe. That was fine though because I went right up to my room and it was quiet on the 9th floor. On my floor, the trash area by the ice and water was overflowing with trash (mostly bags of takeout food). I paid about $45 extra for a room with a balcony. The balcony area clearly said "no smoking", but guests obviously don't follow this rule because there were cigarette butts all over the living rooftop. That was sad and kind of gross and a turn off that made me not want to spend time on the balcony. There was a serious lack of amenities in the room for almost $400/night. Not a pen or a single piece of paper. Two measly creamers for the nespresso machine. No hotel guide, no room service menu, nothing even stating the check out time or amenities offered by the facility. The website stated that they had room service, but there was no room service menu in the room. I called "Food and Drink" line from the phone. No answer. I called the "General Help" line from the phone. No answer. Then I called the hotel from my cell phone, thinking I could get someone from the front desk. No answer. This is just unacceptable from any hotel. I eventually gave up trying to reach anyone, got dressed, and went downstairs back to the club-like atmosphere. There was no one at the front desk. This was 8:30pm on a Friday. So I just went to the restaurant, ordered takeout, and brought it up to my room myself. At a 4 star hotel! It's a beautiful hotel in a great location and the rooms are new and nice, but they need staff desperately. You can't charge people that kind of money and then offer basically zero services. I hope they will hire more staff and get their act together because it could be a great place to stay in Baltimore. But for now, I'll spend about $150 more per night and go to The Four Seasons where the service is still impeccable.

Yelp
We'd like to thank the hotel for giving us an upgrade to a room with balcony and habor view. The hotel is very nice and clean. We met David when we checked in and he is one of the most friendly and welcoming people we've met. He is denifitely an asset to Canopy as he made our stay better just by talking to us and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay at Inner Harbour.

Yelp
What an amazing stay we had! We drove in from DC to go to a concert (Patrice Rushen!) at the nearby Keystone Korner and decided to stay over. The moment we walked in, we knew we'd made the right choice. First of all, the location is absolutely stunning. It's right on the water and the view is amazing! Crystal and Cali at the front desk were incredibly warm and accommodating. Barry (head valet) made sure our parking situation was handled and was there to offer suggestions when we ventured out of the hotel. Great guy! Elise and Vida in the restaurant were amazing (as were the food and cocktails)! They provided fantastic and personable service that really made us feel both welcomed and appreciated. Seriously, everyone/everything was so fantastic that we decided to stay for an additional night! This will DEFINITELY be our home away from home whenever we are in Baltimore!

Yelp
Beautiful location and views! But that's about it... Booked a king suite with Romance package for our anniversary. I was so excited as it was the first time getting away overnight by ourselves. Unfortunately all my expectations of this place was completely shattered as none of the Romance package was delivered, the room amenities were incomplete, and there was a USED Nespresso coffee pod on the tray with other new pods. This just wasn't acceptable for the price tag, and the special occasion we were celebrating :( The staff invited us back to the hotel to give them a second try, so we did. How do I even begin to express my disappointment yet again. We arrived at 4:30 (check in time is 3pm), only to have told that the room wasn't ready and it would be 10min. Almost 45 minutes later (as I was contemplating going home) we got our keys and went up to the room just to find the floors not cleaned (dust and visible particles everywhere), once again incomplete amenities, and disconnected phone lines. We had mentioned to them that we would be bringing our child this time, nevertheless there were not enough towels for all of us and proper sofa bed items were not provided. All this, for inviting us back to try to redeem themselves, just solidified the level of incompetence on the part of management. The lack of attention, commitment to their customers, and compassion touches just a few of their faults. I sure hope that we were just a one-off bad case.

Yelp
The hotel is beautifully designed. We booked a harbor view room and the view from our suite was spectacular. The hotel amenities are what earn this rating. Hotels are supposed to be opulent and focus on guest service. I found the staff short and unaccommodating. The hotel was out of coffee and had no reservations for guests at the hotel restaurant. This is a "cute" hotel but your money would be better spent if you pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

Yelp
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for quite a while, and I'm an avid traveler. We arrived early, and Melissa ensured we were accommodated even though no rooms were available. My husband had special requests, and the patience and service we have received thus far have been top-notch. Thank you, Melissa; individuals like you make people want to return when we are visiting.

Yelp
I have had a Hilton Honors membership for several years and have never been so disappointed with a property. It's difficult to find and no one answers the phone. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and I just needed directions. Our GPS did not recognize the address. Both my husband and I commented that the property was decorated like a prison or maybe a bad dorm. The valet employee acted like we were bothering him (to park at $49/night!). We had planned to stay two nights but left after one. The view from our room was hideous (construction site) but it was clean and then bed was comfortable. Definitely not worth the price.

Yelp
This is a newer clean and modern Hilton hotel by the Harbor and Fell's Point. Melissa at the front desk was so welcoming and pleasant. Nice restaurant (we just had drinks) with windows facing the harbor. Rooms were designed well and very comfortable. Not all views are scenic as some look out to other buildings but that is to be expected in a city hotel. Very nice lobby which also was a nice place to relax, with fireplace, pool table, water etc. Only downside is parking is expensive for valet and nearby garages, and didn't like the coffee. But would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Very nice and modern place to stay. There were a couple of hiccups with my reservation when I checked in however the staff at the front desk was amazing in rectifying the situation. The hotel is very clean and the view was great in spite of the construction going in next door. I do think it would be a nice touch if the hotel was able to validate parking for the hotel guests vs. having the hotel guest pay additional to park in the shared garage. This is a very busy hotel. There are a lot of local food choices in the vicinity which was a plus. Night life area was a little non existent.

Yelp
Visited this location Juneteenth weekend. Love the location and the hotel was beautiful. Great location and KUDOS to the awesome staff. SHANNON EDWARDS you are a QUEEN ! The lobby is beautiful, great vibe, very inviting and comfortable. It appears Hilton has a new look! But it is getting away from some traditional things that still are a necessity in my opinion. If you are family with small children a mid-size refrigerator is a necessity. This location no longer provides a mini microwave or fridge. You are given a hidden cooler. It does not allow enough space to fit water or additional beverages a family or guest may need. A mini microwave is still needed especially if you have children that need food heated or you have a late snack you want to warm up. I wasn't comfortable with the farm door for the bathroom. It did not provide adequate privacy. And the vanity/sink area was tightttttt but the room was still attractive and comfortable. Also, I don't think the chic Canopy is made for kids! So be careful with this selection families... Hotels are not being straight forward with guest about accommodations. Canopy shows views of the harbor and at the moment construction is underway. That should be told during your reservation process. If you select a room you are not anticipating looking at construction. If that is the case a discount should be given. People are not paying for expensive rooms to open the curtains and see construction. Just a thought. Parking rates are insane, Hilton can give guests at least a 10% discount for parking for being their guest. I will return its worth the visit. With the Harbor and Fells Point you are bound to enjoy your stay. THUMBS up Hilton. Going to try your DC location next.

Yelp
Opened in October 2020 this very chic high tech hotel is changing the look of things to come in the hospitality industry. Plenty of open areas, decks, balconies and room to just spread out. Lighting system in rooms and suites that allow you to control everything without moving much more then a finger. Currently very conscious of current need to be socially distanced and sanitized. Great staff, great exercise room and equipment. Located right on the river across from the harbor with awesome views.

Yelp
Chris A at the front desk this morning was phenomenal. We had a few issues. But he took care of us. Will definitely be coming back for another weekend getaway.

Yelp
We were looking for a dinner place along the harbor on a Friday night without a reservation. When we walked in asking for a table for 8, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Though it was a busy night for the restaurant, the manager Andrew was quick to action and was able to sort us a table by the water! As soon as we sat down, our waitress Bee (Bianca) and Jimmy came through with a hospitable and positive energy and got us some cornbread and sour dough to start with right away. It was really comforting after feeling quite defeated from not being able to secure a dinner table from at least 10 other places. The food was delicious and in generous portions. All in all, it ended up being a memorable evening, thanks to all the amazing staff.
