Cantaloupe Gastro Pub

Just a short walk down from the crowds up the hill on Rainbow is this gem. I stay in the area regularly, and walked by it many times before stopping in. Ironically, it was a tourist who recommended it. As others have said, Cantaloupe definitely has one of the finest outdoor decks in the city that offers outstanding views. But this place is no one-trick pony. They have a fully stocked bar with experienced bartenders who know how to prepare specialty cocktails. A great place to sit, relax, and enjoy the sunset with a drink. But stick around for at least some appetizers. Cantaloupe has an eclectic menu of delicious and unusual appetizers, along with some familiar and not so familiar entrees. The portions are generous, and are beautifully presented. The service is excellent, and prices are reasonable. The manager, Ibrahim, (I think?) treats everyone like guests in his home, and my regular waiter, (yes, I went several times) Abdullah was prompt, friendly and efficient...always. Cantaloupe offers not only a great, friendly place to relax and enjoy the views, but is an excellent dining option as well.

Cantaloupe Gastro Pub located down rainbow street in Amman 1st circle is a nice and calm place to go. Has a very comfortable atmosphere and magnificent views of the city since it's on the top floor. Service and good food made right. Good for hang out, dinner, or casual dining. Highly recommend.

I visited here because my friend recommended this pub. It is an amazing pub. I visited Amman for business, but when I sat on the bar at the roof, I started to think that I should come to Amman next time to relax here. Also Mr. Hassan, gentleman at the bar, super nice and elegant. I absolutely visit here next time

Fabulous place! The location is very good and allows you to admire the whole city. The restaurant is divided into 2 levels: the first is used as a restaurant-pub with an external and an internal area. The second level is used as a panoramic cocktail bar. I went in December and the place was decked out in Christmas dress which created a unique atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and professional, knowing how to manage me well considering my food intolerances. The recommended food and wine were very good and the price was correct. I will definitely be back

I have been in Amman during 3 different years, and every time I have visited Cantaloupe minimum 3 times. One of the greatest lounges/restaurants in the city with great views over night Amman and excellent food and drinks.

Beautiful night view with delicious food. Staffs were professional. Recommend to book in advance to get the seat that you wanted.

Would categorize this as more of a restaurant feel than a pub - but does have some nice outdoor seating with a view. Was rather slow when stopping in - but as it was Ramadan and tourism was down due to regional conflicts I wouldn't expect this to be the norm. Menu was much more on the pub side than "gastro" side (lot of fried options) and alcohol options were more in line with this as well.
