Cantilever Distillery + Restaurant, Cocktails & Tastings

The most darling experience. My honey & I love to pick a spot and just go. When International falls & Voyagers National Park was mentioned it seemed we’d tent camp as usual, until we came across this beauty. Cantilever, this hotel/distillery is one of charm & quaintness. We took advantage of the hotels roof top hot tub & sauna/steam room both evenings and morning. Sat for dinner at 6 and was greeted with smiles. We loved the Alfredo pasta, the bbq chicken sandwich & the hotels flight tasting. (In house Rye & Gin) Best part of this whole get away was the towns friendliness. Willing to point us in any direction for fun, sights & good eats. This spot is on our visit again, 1000 times yes.

What a gem! Laid back city atmosphere. Had the Tropical Fajitas, Summer Salad, and Smash Burger. All 3 were huge portions and delicious. Fajitas were maybe best I’ve ever had. Also had the Cantilever Club drink (Woody’s Gin, Raspberry syrup, lemon juice, fee foam, and raspberries.) Servers were very friendly and attentive.

I rode out to this place from Fort Frances on my e scooter to try their bloody caesar which is my bar test for unreviewed venues. They took my mastercard from Canada no problem. The drink is nice, tall, comes with pickles/olives (my fav) and the vodka is nice and smooth (home stilled). The bar and restaurant is very clean with lots of light. Lunch items are 15-25$ US and the caesar was 12$ US. Definitely my go to cesar spot when I can cross over. Little caviat: I prefer celery salt rim to chicken spices which dont make sense to me. You earned a 5!

Amazing place for food and drinks, with an extensive menu where everything catches your eye. Great cocktail menu from the classics to seasonal specials and even a cocktail flight. We loved our meals (drunken pasta, Caesar salad, shrimp tostones) and can’t wait to come back to try more items.

Very cool place with their own whisky, gin and vodka, manufactured on site. The food was made with quality ingredients and was delicious

So delightful on all fronts! The perfect stop for your Voyageurs National Park adventure or other Rainy Lake things! Walkable to the lake and Canada! And great sunset views.

Excellent restaurant in International Falls Minnesota. It’s located in a hotel. The bourbon and rye manhattans were excellent and burrito was delicious.

Hidden gem! Stayed at Cantilever on a business trip and was so impressed with the atmosphere, accommodations, food and their top-notch distillery. Christi and the rest of the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure a warm and positive experience - thank you! Will definitely be planning our next visit and am already looking forward to it!
