We were a group of 10 and chose Menu 2 — and were genuinely impressed by how much food we received. In fact, it was almost too much! Everything was delicious, with the tartare, burrata, and tuna standing out as real highlights. The restaurant was also great at accommodating allergies, which we really appreciated. The restaurant itself is very loud, which is clearly part of the atmosphere. If you’re going on a Friday evening, you should definitely expect a lively and noisy environment. The energy was high, and it made for a fun and vibrant night out

Google
A must visit if you’re in Copenhagen. Make sure to make a reservation, we got lucky as someone had cancelled as we were walking in. Must do the rigatoni, one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The vibes are immaculate in here as it turns into a bar and they stop serving food past a certain time.

Really lovely. Nice atmosphere and nice workers. I had olives as apertizer and rigatoni as my main course. Very nicely served and tasted amazing! Was there around 14-15 so I think the lunch rush was over and it was nice and pleasant.

Nice place with a cool vibe. Food was good but nothing over the top. We didn’t order much or any alcohol and still received good service.

Please, try the Vodka Pasta! It is so yummy and delicious. The atmosphere is aesthetic and beautiful

Google
This Copenhagen classic welcomed us mid-week. No trouble finding a table amidst the busy times. Service was as talkative and friendly. The salami pizza with honey? A sure-shot winner. The lobster pasta was a bit of a letdown, could use some spice and everything nice. The sweet wine at the end was the icing on the cake. A special dinner indeed where i could only focus on the person next to me, so the atmosphere is to be revised.

Great food and great service! After reading through the google reviews I had to try the vodka pasta and it was delicious so here is another recommendation of it!

Yelp
Pizza is CHEESY, tasty and small enough not to feel too guilty about eating comfort food! I will definitely go back! The place is vibrant and social and we were lucky to get a table for an hour Friday night. Definitely fun for groups. Noise level is a little high. There is an open kitchen so you can take a sneak peak at the chef. This place has so many waiters, that I'm wondering where invisible next floor is. However, that means service is fast (altho with a touch of the cold Danish side.)...:) Buffala mozzarella starter was good but not so ooey-gooey-sticky as I was craving for. Tomatoes were not really ripe. Big minus.

Yelp
It was our first night in København and we were just walking around, I had tagged this place on my Google maps so we said why not. It was nicely decorated, dim lights, music and cool young adults dining and wining. We were pretty tired from our travels and needed sustenance of sorts. Luckily, we were able to grab a table without any reservations. Our waiter was friendly, and gave us recommendations, very fast service. It was a bit and busy to have proper conversation but it was also invigorating to see how the Danish enjoy a Saturday night. We got the burrata, rigatoni, and a salami picante pizza. None really stood out to me - the peas in the burrata were tasty and I never would expect peas to be included in burrata. The peas in Copenhagen are different though, they area crunchy and larger than what I am used to. The rigatoni was sweet and the portion was a little smaller than I expected. My boyfriend was happy with his pizza but it was a simple, not complicated order. The restaurant's decor was fun and it fit the night life there. Overall, I would come back for a drink but I would not go out of my way to make it back.

Yelp
The inside of the restaurant was too busy so I had to sit and eat outside- which is completely fine in any other scenario. A group of men sat next to me outside and were drinking coffees at a table, they were telling me they are not from Denmark but live in a penthouse above the restaurant. They harassed me my entire meal and kept asking me where my boyfriend was (me being a solo female). I felt uncomfortable and intimidated. My server could very likely tell exactly what was happening but was going up to this group and talking to them friendly and high fiving them. This group of men harassed several groups of women as they walked by. The food was okay and the drinks were good. I just find it insulting that an employee of the restaurant would condone a group of men to intimidate and harass a young woman sitting by herself at their restaurant. Would not go again.

Yelp
Decent ambiance. Do not recommend pasta as the portions are very small. Alright service. Good pizza. Beware of added charges.

Yelp
Whenever I walked by during the day it seemed empty but at night this place comes alive! I was throughly impressed with the food and atmosphere. The concept is New York, casual simple Italian with their own twist. I actually Liked the anchovy starter and the different salads they have with blue cheese and radicchio. The burrata is great, the pizzas have a nice crust and good toppings, and the fish ceviche with grapefruit is a must. A lot of yummy dishes make it easy for everyone to find something on the menu.

Yelp
The ambience and decor of the place is really nice. However, the food was not up to par and the service kind of rude. The pasta and risotto tasted delicious, but the pizzas were very doughy and soggy, and that's not really something you would expect from a place that's supposed to be Italian. The prices are also a little steep compared to what you get in my opinion. The worst, though, was the attitude when we complained about a dish: the waiter took it away and brought it back and said, that "the chef thinks it's how it should be." When the bill came, they hadn't removed the dish - even though it was returned and not eaten. Not okay in my book!

Yelp
After deciding not to make a reservation anywhere for dinner we were pleased we were able to walk into this restaurant and be seated on the side of the restaurant reserved for those without a reservation on a Saturday night. Sat at a high top table which would have been fine had an engagement party not overtaken the bar area of the restaurant -- seemed as though the waiters/etc and owners were aware they were coming since they had set up a champagne / drink table for them but poor planning as they had a super small area for 15+ people and my table was constantly being bumped and ran into. Super annoying!! Had this not occurred I would've given the restaurant more stars. Pizza is good but overpriced. Caesar salad was different but delicious... wouldn't order the burrata and sea bass ceviche again (nothing special). If I came back I definitely would make a reservation or choose a table more out of the way as it definitely impacted our overall experience.

Yelp
We had a good dinner here on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was decently busy but no problem to get a seat (looked as though the entire bar area on one side was open). We started with the burrata which was delicious. For mains I had the rabbit pasta and my boyfriend had the pizza with anchovies. Pasta was good but I was a little disappointed to see ground meat (very small pieces) in the sauce, which wasn't really clear from the menu or waiter's description of the dish. Flavours were good though. Overall everything was good but not amazing - a good choice in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Yelp
An elegant but homey place spend an evening with friends or family. Lots of Danish hygge paired with high-quality Italian food is surely a formula for success. Extensive wine and drinks list. Delicious oven-baked pizza. Yummy desserts. I definitely recommend checking out Cantina if you're looking for a nice place to grab dinner in Copenhagen.

Yelp
I walked in as I was staying at the hotel across the street and had no expectations, and left a few hours later wowed. The decor is typically Danish Hygee- cozy and elegant. The food, starting with the bread to the wine list is stellar, and the mains were just delicious. The octopus starter was perfectly done, and the pasta dish I ordered was one of the best I've ever had (which says a lot given I used to live in Italy). Cantina to me represents the best of Danish restaurant movement- focus on a warm, inviting ambience with stellar high quality food.

Yelp
It's such a neat place. It's really pretty to take photos there. The floor , the light, the chairs and everything else re so elegant. The plates they use for food re from Italy according to the lady who works there. It's good enough with the look and on top of that, there food is GOOD too! We liked everything we ordered today and I'm definitely going back some time soon!

Yelp
Just as I thought I could not love Copenhagen more, and just as a thought no more new places could bedazzle me this summer I "ran into" Cantina. As a new addition to the Pastis group my expectations were high, and from the second I entered the beautiful renovated rooms I knew I was in for a good evening. The waitress was the sweetest girl - a big smile and she somehow got the weird humor at the table, she checked up on us and had an eye on every finger. The food was amazing. We had the family style 10 course dinner - 4 appetizers, 3 antipasti, 2 main and a dessert served in perfect portions. All was well cooked and with a charming sense for the detail. For the appetizers eg. we had sardine and Parma with melon - not normally something I find interesting but the quality, the presentation and the favors - uhm. We also had beef Tatar, salmon crevice, rabbit, vegetables with aioli, pizza and steak - oh and the most refreshing dessert of hazelnut and passion fruit ice crash with almond cookie. All in all a wonderful evening with amazing food, great service and beautiful location. I will be back.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! We had the goat cheese pizza (with roasted tomatoes and pine nuts) and it had the perfect amount of goat cheese! Usually I think pizzas with goat cheese have too many gross globs of it, but this was great! The Arancini risotto balls were also incredible! Flavor perfection.

Yelp
Food seems to be decent. But when I asked for water they brought out a bottle of water without telling me that it was a bottle and that it was 60 Dk. He didn't even open it in front of me so I don't even know if it wasn't just chilled tap water. I don't recommend this place. It seems like a tourist trap if you ask me.

Yelp
I was very excited to dine at Catina from the other reviews on Yelp and personal suggestions from friends. We didn't have a reservation and were seated immediately but then things started to turn south. The restaurant was extremely hot and just very stuffy. Our drunk order and dinner was put in and it took almost until the end of dinner to get our drinks. Then, once we were done, we literally were forgotten about. No one would help us and we didn't know who to ask for our bill because we didn't have a designated server. I was just very aggregated throughout the meal I really couldn't enjoy myself. Hopefully this was just a one time ordeal because the atmosphere and space are very and it would be a shame if it couldn't be an all-around great experience.

Yelp
We were excited to try Cantina because we saw how alive it was as we were walking by. We were impressed with the atmosphere, the New York feels, and extensive drink menu. We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. Their menu did not offer any of the traditional Italian food such as eggplant Parmesan or ravioli, so it was a very limited menu. For drinks we had scotch and a Moscow Mule (pretty tasty). Then we ordered the Rib Eye and Solomi Piconte pizza (the waiter suggested this for meaty) .... The Solomi pizza was mediocre, thin crusted, with the sauce on the sweet side (because of the honey), not as much meat as I would expect and very little cheese. The ribeye was cooked to the order. However, the sauce was overwhelming and took away from the juiciness of the steak. I'm used to being asked to check on the preparation of the steak by doing a quick cut in the middle, or at least have a follow-up, but it was non existence here. Overall, for the price of the steak, I expected better. On a side note - initially our waiter was attentive, brought our drinks fast and took our orders quickly but unfortunately that did not last long when his shift ended around 10PM. We were forgotten after that, no refills and no one else came by to check on us. From where we were sitting we had view of the kitchen in front and bar to the right. That's where our waiter was after his shift with a beer in hand. Quite disappointing, we thought someone would have informed us of the change in staff or at least he would give us a heads up. Anyway, we had to flag down another waiter to get our check. 3 stars for the drinks, atmosphere, accepting AMEX but if we had to rate on food and service, 2 stars. Not somewhere we would be rushing back to!

Yelp
This place just reopened under new ownership. A really cool spot. Same owners as Pastis and Fish Market. Very skilled bartender. Excellent Bloody Mary. I got The macaroni and Rabbit. Never tried before and wanted something different. It was and was delicious. Very friendly. Amazing ambiance. Enjoy!

Yelp
This was a very nice atmosphere with window walls that open to the street and there was a cool breeze that often went through the restaurant. It was a little noisy. It have a limited menu with primarily pizza. None of the traditional Italian foods that you would expect such as ravioli, eggplant and lasagna. They had a basic pasta with the usual add ons and the pizza and some seafood appetizers and that was about it.The pizza was good but quite expensive for pizza. As someone else said you definitely want to make a reservation.
