How to Plan a Ski Trip to Revelstoke Mountain Resort in British Columbia

"A lively spot where tacos and even bowling are part of the après formula; as Laura Meggs noted about ending a perfect ski day, it involves tacos and bowling, and she concluded, "It's a true Revelstoke experience." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50. Off the charts! Not sure who the chef is.. but this is as close to straight up Mexican cuisine that you will get this side of Guadalajara. And the menu options will be familiar with the masses. the margarita options have a flavor depth that can be appreciated. We ordered an assortment of tacos, quesadillas, and sopa de tortillas. All worth a try. This is a great place to refuel the calories after a day of ripping it in Revy 🚲⛰️⛷️🚠

Food here is top notch. The chargrilled beef burrito (and the smash burger) literally blew my hair back. Gus (bartender) is super friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us through the menu and assisted with the decision making. He also makes killer cocktails. The coconut habanero marg and the escobar get the chef’s kiss. Muah! It was so good we went back the next day for dinner. It was very busy, but the staff was just as friendly and attentive. We even met the manager (owner?), Brad. Super genuine and accommodating guy. We tried the Esquites (amazing) and one of every taco on the menu. Then, I finished it off with the Smash burger. It is so good. Favorite tacos were probably the Baja fish and Pescado, but they were all good. We’ll be back for sure.

Food was delicious particularly the Argentina tacos and breaky burrito! It was a very chill and laid back atmosphere but more than that the customer service was exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming. Specifically Sam the bartender! She was extremely accommodating and super friendly. On top of that Phab and Kyle were very welcoming and patient with explaining the menu and making our experience here wonderful!

We had a great meal here tonight! The food was delicious and the horchata was so good! The service was a bit slow, however, everyone was working hard together to keep up as it was quite busy. The restaurant is super cute and open air and as such, similar to other modern designs, quite noisy. I would definitely return when in the area again!

Cocktails were unreal! Good variety to choose from too! Lots of house made syrups/ingredients. Got a few tacos and a burrito, burrito was large and delicious, my partner had a hard time finishing it! Would go back!

CDC kept us well-nourished and a bit buzzed. Special thanks to our bartenders Sam and Ryan, and our server Fab, all of whom were most exceptional. The Cantina Old Fashioned was excellent and we loved the Argentine as tacos or quesadilla. Also had breaky burritos and hash which was amazing the next morning.

I chose to go here for dinner with my boyfriend on our last day of a short trip to Revelstoke. The vibes were on point. Reminded us of being in Mexico for dinner, with the sun setting and the warmth in the air. The food was really good. I don’t often pick an entree worth bragging about but I’m proud to say, my confit beef salsa verde enchiladas were amazing. The salsas that came as an option alongside our meals were a great addition. Plus there bowling

Google
Excellent experience at Cantina del Centro! Our server, Hannah, was perfectly attentive and ensured my wife's allergies were properly accounted for. On that note, this is phenomenal option for those with celiac as they have loads of gluten free choices (including a gluten free deep fryer!) Comfortable interior and a fun looking patio. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
When traveling to remote mountain towns, travelers don't expect to have too many memorable meals. But this place was a hit from the time we walked in to the moment we left. Everyone was friendly and the vibe was so fun and chill. We were all so hungry and the menu was perfectly set up for everyone to enjoy, including a vegan in our party. The tacos were very small street style tacos and they were all exceptional. They also have nachos, enchiladas, Baja style flour tortilla seafood tacos, and more. The beef, chicken, and pork tacos were deeply flavorful and you have the option to add 1 of 3 different salsas, each increasing in spiciness. The chips, salsa, guacamole, and bean dip were also a hit with the table. We almost went 2 nights in a row! The drinks were inventive and playful with an obvious focus on agave spirits and offered local beers. To make it even more fun, there's a restored 5 pin bowling alley in the back of the restaurant where you can also order from a limited menu of food and drinks to enjoy at you lane with your group. Plus they have a bowling HH on weekdays from 11-3 (50% off).
