It was perfect when I could have a pizza just before they closed, and the boss explained how much I could eat. It's a very casual, pleasant Italian atmosphere and feels rustic. It is one of the most amazing places that you must see when coming to Naples!

We stumbled upon a hidden gem of a pizzeria just as they were about to close. Despite the late hour, we were welcomed with open arms, as if we had walked into our grandmother's cozy living room making us feel like long-lost family members rather than last-minute customers. The mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked pizza, set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food itself was nothing short of extraordinary. The Margherita was a standout, with its delicate balance of basil, mozzarella, and tomatoes, capturing the essence of authentic Neapolitan pizza. Note, the staff did not speak English, but understood English.

We ended up here invited by our local friends and what an amazing time we had! It is family owned, no fuss, very welcoming and homey and the food is simply delicious. We ate pizza in various forms, including a variety of fried calzone pizza, sausages, boiled greens and the works. Highly recommended for an authentic Napoletan experience.

Our first pizza in Naples. It was open late thursday evening and even locals were there. Good quality pizza, pleasant home wine, very quick and friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. They also do prepare take aways.

Perfect place with the best pizza in Naples! Great atmosphere and super-delicious food. They have a break in the mid of a day so check openig hours before you go there, but definitelly it is worth of mark it at your trip plan.

This place is Amazing! I was walking around Napoli for 3 hours. Walked north or the "tourist" are and got lost in the beauty of it all. I came across this place and decided to go in for a beer because I had been walking around 90 degree weather. Once inside I was greated with a warm Ciao and a smile. I sat down and they immediately asked me what I wanted to drink ( I think they say how hot and thirsty I was) I was amazed at how friendly everyone was including other customers. I decided to get the Diavola Pizza because it's usually the only one on places menus with any hint of spicyness and I love the Spice Life. The pizza came super fast and it's made right in front of you basically. I saw them make the pizza and I could tell this is a passion not just a job for them. The pizza was delicious and I ate the whole thing by myself which I don't normally do because it's usually too heavy. Not this pizza. It was thin and light on the stomach. The flavors where amazing and I will definitely be coming back to this hidden Gem. It's not dead in the center of town but it is definitely worth making the short walk to find this place. Highly recommend you visit this place anytime you are in Napoli and want authentic Napolitano pizza. Thanks again to all the staff for treating me like family 😊 Arrivederci!

Yelp
I don't know what all went wrong the morning I went for lunch, but despite me being only one of two customers I hardly got any service. The ragu had one small piece of meat and one piece of fat in it. After very long wait had to go to kitchen to say I needed to check out. A couple of nights before I tried to have a dinner but they had closed much ahead of regular hours. Also to know this restaurant is on the bottom of a very steep hill. I hate to leave any small business one star but this was way off scale of acceptable anywhere not to mention a food paradise Napoli.

Yelp
One of the most ancient cantinas in Naples est 1898. Five generation family owned osteria. The owner himself made the suggestions for our meal which consisted of many arancini type entrees. And very good octopus. Off of the beaten tourist path.

Yelp
Great homemade food and pizza. Very basic menu and short list of drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant, if you can find it in the maze that is Naples.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The owner decided on the menu and we went with it - super delicious and definitely not on the tourist path. Great atmosphere, family owned and run for generations, nothing fancy - just tasty food, happy families eating, and a great experience. My favorite restaurant so far in my visit to Italy.

Yelp
Everything was great!!! Food and the attention were perfect! They recommended us what to eat and we were not disappointed!!!! Terrific place and perfect if you're looking where to eat close to the cemetery la fontanella!

Yelp
They did a nice job with the remodel. It has a nice decor, but is nosey - don't go if you want a quiet romantic dinner. I have been twice and the second time the service was pretty bad but the food is good. They have smaller portions and smaller prices. The pasta is homemade and very good. The first time I went, I got a Valentine's special - lobster fra diablo. it was fantastic. The second time we ordered a bunch of the appetizers, which was the best way to go in my opinion. They are small servings but still enough to share. All in all, a very welcome addition to Trolley. It is not just another pizza joint - it is real, flavorful food.
