Wonderful staff. Good food. Best beer (Pacifico)! We had a burrito and the chicken tacos. One thing to note, we noticed people turned away that had ordered next door at the counter, fast food side. The seating is for the sit down customers only- on the restaurant side.

pumpkin spice

Google
The food tasted like they didn’t put any effort into it, very bland. It looked like the salsa came out of a can. And the black beans in my salad were not fully cooked.

We had a really bad night where our United flight was delayed so we missed our flight home and then the next flight was 8 hours later. So we went here and used our meal vouchers and were lucky enough to get Mary to take care of us. Her positive and outgoing personality turned our night around. The margaritas, queso, and quesadilla were delicious! I highly recommend this place for the food, margaritas, and atmosphere. Mary even gave us suggestions on how to spend the remaining hours we had to wait for our flight home! Thank you Mary! You are amazing!

Google
Went here because our flight was delayed. The first 20 seconds in the restaurant we knew we were gonna have a great experience. The servers here and the person that sat us were incredibly joyful and super attentive. Our server Mary gave us everything we needed and gave us amazing service. Food was also great! Idk why this place only has 3 stars.

Google
I had their salad and added the shredded chicken and ordered some extra black beans which really completed the meal—I'm definitely glad I had the dressing on the side. It would have been too sweet for me. I just had water with this meal. It hit the spot. Perfect meal to have before a long flight—and they were able to seat me at a table with a plug nearby so I could charge my phone.

Denver International Airport Friday, July 11. 2025 9 AM On our way back to CA from NM we finally found a restaurant that didn't have a line of 20 or people waiting (Red Flag!!) Our server was delightful and attentive, the food came in piled up in small plates, making it difficult to eat (perhaps a good idea) The food came to the table at room temperature; within an hour I was feeling the effects of it and the rest of the family the next day. The burrito bowl with shredded chicken was a soggy mess, lacking flavour and appeal. The eggs with chorizo had a brown/red mash of "chorizo" that was served at room temperature (health code violation)

Michael Polacek

Google
Seemed clean. Was pleasantly seated at the bar and had immediate, attentive, and engaging service. The salad with shredded chicken was perfect and obviously prepared with love. I haven't had a real beer in a while and had two New Belgium IPAs. Overall this was everything I expected. When I come back to the Denver airport, I would return although I hope they play better and more related music. That is my personal snobery in action

Michael Abbott

Google
Stopped in before our flight to get some breakfast. The place was a bit chaotic even for being early in the morning. The staff was friendly to us, but not everyone received a warm welcome. The food was good for airport food, and the price was expected for being located where it is. Our server was nice and attentive.

Yelp
Burrito was packed with beans and meat and covered in delicious sauce. Tacos were delicious and juicy. I like the pickled onions. I love their food, especially in an airport, there are some disappointing places in DEN, but this place is worth stopping by!

Yelp
Stopped here while I waited for my flight to grab some food and it was pretty decent. I got the carne asada tacos and they were good but nothing special if I'm being honest. My food did come out pretty quickly after I ordered and my server was nice. One critique I had was that I had to wait at the hostess stand for an awkward amount of time before someone came up to seat me. Overall this is a decent airport option!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here on our way out to Salt Lake City. We sat at the bar service was quick and friendly. We got chips salsa and queso to snack on which was good! For my meal I threw carne asada tacos. They were to die for but they also weren't the worst! They had some decent flavor and were a tad dry. Overall for Mexican airport food it's not that bad. I would eat here again.

Caroline E.

Yelp
Strong margarita. Good salsa. Friendly quick service! Solid choice for an airport restaurant.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
I only came here for drinks on a layover. Service was fast and I thought the drink prices were reasonable, especially for an airport. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Carol K.

Yelp
It was ok, it did the job. The service was fast and the food hot and it was decent. That is about the best one can hope for in airport food no? We come from a land of awful Mexican food so it doesn't take much to impress our palates. The carne asada queso burrito did the trick.
google avatar

Justine S.

Yelp
Inedible Mexican food. Greasy, flavorless tacos and watery queso. Cocktails were decent but food was awful.

Yelp
Having grown up eating Mexican food most my meals, I had just returned to the country, and was anxiously anticipating my first Mexican food meal. Waiting for 2 1/2 hours for my outbound flight, I went to the upstairs level of the B concourse and grabbed some pork Carnitas tacos, beans, and rice. The pork Carnitas, first of all, are very good. They stuff a lot of pork into them, and the salsa is good, but they're using the wrong cheese. But, the sides... sigh. CG is using regular white rice like you would find in an Asian country, not refried. Just white rice. Plain white rice. The biggest disappointment, (and I mean really big because I judge all of my Mexican restaurants by the quality of their their refried beans). These are quite simply just poor. The taste is wrong, there's less flavor than there should be, and the portion was small. I got more of that Chinese rice that I got of the beans, and we all know they should be about the same portion. So, if you're looking for good Mexican, look elsewhere. If you just have to have a Mexican food fix, I'd suggest you wait.

Yelp
We had breakfast at this place during our layover on our way to Kona, Hawaii. A good looking airport restaurant. The service was friendly and timely. We ordered southwest salad, carna asada tacos and churros. All were good. Maybe not the best you can get in the city, but consider that it was in an airport with limited options. The price was somehow high but again, considering the location, it was reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.
google avatar

Mathew G.

Yelp
So I have some mixed feelings on this restaurant. Was the food good? Yes. Was it the best burrito I've ever had? Absolutely not. What was frustrating is arriving and ordering an item, but receiving a different item. Then getting charged for the more expensive item that I didn't receive. The food was good but the service was terrible and slow. Do not come here is you are in a rush because it took about 15 minutes just for our server to get us our check to leave. If I'm ever back in Denver, I'll find other places to eat at.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
I like to eat where locals eat but at airports, you want to eat where the pilots eat. I've seen many airline crew eat here. I've eaten at the Cantina Grill about a dozen times and, while it's not fancy, it always is satisfying. I use the take out service, then sit at nearby tables (I like to people watch as a songwriter). The ordering process is fast so I recommend knowing what meat and ingredients you want before you hit the ordering line since each meal is customized to your liking. Go upstairs in concourse B (but don't confuse Cantina with the other Mexican restaurant) for some simple and fresh comfort food!
google avatar

Laurel B.

Yelp
I had Cantina's breakfast bowl which comes with scrambled eggs, potatoes, salsa and hot sauce. While the food here isn't incredible by any means, it hit the spot when I was looking for something more than a basic breakfast. Service is great and fast. We were in and out in under 45 minutes. While the space is nothing special, it is one of the better options in the terminal to eat if you are looking for sit down for a bit.

Tappi T.

Yelp
Barely acceptable service. Food was horrible and bland with my order being totally incorrect. No one check up on me and will never dine here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Mexican restaurants at airports can be hit or Miss but I actually liked the carne asada tacos here. This place has to-go area and dining in area completely separated, and I had time so I decided to dine in. The sign states "please wait to be seated". So I waited. No one comes. Then one person across the bar told me it was an opening seating and I can seat myself. While I was eating, I saw more people waiting at the host stand to be seated. Of course they would do that, because the sign says so. For a few minutes no one tells them they can seat themselves. What a waste of time, a simple, even a hand written "please seat yourself" sign could save people's time, and save employees from shouting across the restaurant. Why not take 10 seconds to make a sign? It's baffling. The service was good, my server was attentive and efficient. I liked my tacos. Three tacos for $15, I guess that's not too bad for airport dining!

Yelp
After the loads of options in Concourse B'a mezzanine, I chose to eat at the Cantina Grill. Service was friendly and items came out fairly quick. The chips and salsa were my favorite part of the meal with very flavorful salsa but really wet (with oil from frying) chips. The pollo street tacos were alright. The carne asada burrito was not very tasty, but it was filling. The burrito was 95% meat, supposed to be carne asada but tasted like seasoned ground beef. The side of rice and corn that came with the burrito were subpar as well. For airport food, the prices seemed average. Overall, the meal got the job done but not worth 5 stars on Yelp.

Ben B.

Yelp
Horrible food. Service was good however. Very pricy. How can you even serve this trash out of a tuna can without feeling guilty.

Joleen G.

Yelp
It's not gross, it's just not good. I got carnitas tacos and the meat is tender and not dry, but lacks ANY flavor. They were out of the avocado crema, which maybe can save it? They gave me regular crema and it was just incredibly bland. Service was good. I asked for pico, hoping to add something, but that did little. I won't be stopping again, but your 6 year old who only wants meat and cheese will love it!!
google avatar

Annie M.

Yelp
The burritos are mostly beans and could really use more meat. The rice and queso are good. Carnitas tacos were decent. Service was slow but good. Portions are so tiny, even the tacos seems smaller than normal. Typical airport restaurant ambiance.
google avatar

Stephanie F.

Yelp
Plenty of seating - along the walls they have outlets. Food was good; we got the quest chips and the carne asada burrito. Chips were good, not too salted, freshly fried with plenty of greasiness, and it came with a small side of salsa and a bowl of queso which was pretty delightful. Definitely less diced jalapeños and tomato's than I expected. But overall good. And only $9 The carne asada burrito took a while to come out, maybe around 20-25 minutes, it was pretty small but for one person it's enough. Tasty and fresh for airport food! It was doused in queso and some sour cream. And had a side of rice and corn. Overall, very tasty and about $15. Overall bill of $25.92. Oscar was our server who was very kind and attentive! I'm surprised at best (keep in mind, I live in California and we have soem of the best Mexican food!) and would come again.
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
This place is nasty. The guacamole was literally just smashed up avocado with chopped tomatoes and nothing else. The carne asada tacos were terrible. They used ground beef and the green sauce made my stomach turn. Don't eat here.

E T.

Yelp
Daniel our service was nothing less than awesome! Attentive, very cordial, customer friendly service, and knowledgeable of the menu and beers. Great service. Recommend this place. The pork tacos were great! Not too dry and flavorful.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
I came here after discovering Wolfgang Puck had closed early. It was busy but I found a table. Not a huge menu but the food is above average for an airport restaurant. The chicken adobo burrito was pretty good. Service is quick and friendly. My check arrived within minutes of asking for it. I recommend Cantina for food or beverages in the middle of the B Terminal.
google avatar

Vaibhav S.

Yelp
This is a good place to find a quick gluten free vegetarian meal and still catch your flight in time. My wife and I split a vegetarian burrito in a bowl without the tortilla. The server was friendly but quick. He made sure we got our waters, and meal quick. Definitely a place I will come back to if I am visiting Denver.
google avatar

Yelp
Initially when we entered there was 3 floor servers, none that made eye contact and even whilst they scanned the seating area. The Bartender Richard offered us to take a seat and willing to take in a customer he offered us to take a seat on the floor. However, one of the servers blonde haired; showed some color of her dissatisfaction as she stated clearly that she informed the bartender they were closing the dining area. She was unpleasant about it, causing customers to look on. Almost ready to leave and find another place to drop my $$$ Richard offered us a seat at the bar. He was pleasant and quick to serve. I believe it does take a special individual to work in the hustle and bustle of an airport we're I am sure there are many emotions and attitudes. However, it's not one we should see in the house. Not to mention to hear the manager having to take a stogie break prior to returning to duty. C'mon folks treat your work with some pride. I failed to say my husband was pleased with his Carnitas Tacos and myself enjoyed the wet burrito carnitas style as well.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Decided to skip on Wolfgang and hit this because Eli was craving queso. So happy I did because it was legit. The queso was smooth amd the pollo verde burrito was one of the best I've had in a long time. Just the right amount of spice too
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Not often thought of but airport food can set to tone of a trip. This solid Mexican place in the airport has never caused a second visit. Is it great, no, but for airport food it is consistent and tasty and sometimes you just need to get you mex on.
google avatar

Steve M.

Yelp
take away or dine in. this is my go to mexi spot (SoCal mexi maybe?) in all of DIA. they have burritos and street tacos. carne asada, pollo, and carnitas. their margaritas are amazing - rocks OR frozen, no salt or extra salt. they have five draft beers. in august of 2021 they were four craft, one coors light. always crisp and thoughtful service in my 10 years of frequentation, which is especially sought in an airport with flights to catch.

Yelp
Had a long layover at the Denver International Airport, and I was looking for a sit-down place where I could have a decent meal. I came across this place, and it looked good. I didn't see as many choices as I would have liked, but I found one that was like a burrito with queso, green chilis, and a tasty but spicy sauce. I didn't think the sauce would be that spicy when I ordered it, but it was, and I quickly realized I needed more water. It was kind of hard to track down my waitstaff, but eventually, I did and was able to have a pitcher of water left on my table. The food was good and filling, and reasonably priced. The refried beans and the rice was also good. This is an excellent alternative to fast food. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
My husband and I were hungry for a bite to eat before our next flight. We stopped into the dining area (instead of the take away) to grab a quick meal and drink. We started off with chips and salsa. Apparently, this was unlimited refill. Score! The chip and salsa were nothing to write home about but it helped kill my hunger and boredom. We split the carne asada street tacos plate. It comes with 3 tacos. I requested the avocado crema on the side since I am dairy-free and my husband is not. This restaurant is also gluten-friendly with the risk of cross-contamination (per our waiter since I am also gluten-free as well). Overall the meal was okay and the margaritas were quite delicious. We did a double since it was half off for 1 additional shot.
google avatar

Cory N.

Yelp
Craving tacos and decided to visit the Cantina Grill. Good carne asada, but on a single tortilla. Cool that they had crema and pickled onions. But if you are hungry, Go for the bowl. More food and less expensive. #spicemeister approved tacos.

Andy Y.

Yelp
This is gonna be a long review, but if you want the short and sweet, the food was okay, and the overall vibe and service were solid, but my particular waiter sucked. The restaurant overall was mediocre. It wasn't good by any means, but it wasn't downright terrible. However, this has to have been the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant in my life. Let me clarify: the overall service at this restaurant was good, but my specific server, Delucca, provided me with the worst service I have ever received. Not only did I not feel welcomed, but I was downright scared and didn't want to be in the restaurant. I, in fact, contemplated leaving the restaurant before I got my food and ultimately left before finishing my food because of how uncomfortable I was. So what was the issue? I sat down and ordered the chips and guacamole from another staff member when they showed me to my table. A few minutes after I got my food, Delucca briefly walked past my table and told me they were my server and to ask them if I needed anything else. No issue there. 15 minutes later, I wanted to order more food, but I couldn't find Delucca, so I asked another server to put in my order. Preface, I have never worked in the food industry, so I don't know if this was problematic from my end, but even if it was, I still feel the reaction was by no means justified. The reaction in question: a couple minutes later, Delucca came to my table and told me, "I am your server; don't put in orders with other people," in a very aggressive tone (I don't remember what they said verbatim, but it was along these lines). I was honestly taken aback by this. What was previously a positive experience and relaxing time before my flight became very uncomfortable and, honestly, rather scary. I am by no means the meekest person. I am a male college student and very comfortable in public settings, but still having this older, larger person surprising me with this tone out of the blue made me feel like a scared kid afraid of talking to strangers. But the worst was yet to come. Halfway into eating my burrito, Delucca came to my table with my check and said in a very arrogant tone, "When you are ready, you pay me!" and pointed to themself. I don't know if it is just me, but that is insane for a server to say. This entire encounter was highly unprofessional and downright rude. After this, I quickly paid and left the restaurant without giving a tip. Many would disagree with this, but the service was so terrible that I couldn't bring myself to give any extra to Delucca. I know that often, the tip doesn't just go to the specific server, but still, my frustration with Delucca superseded any empathy and appreciation I had for the other staff. Side note: While viewing Delucca with other guests, I noticed that they seemed to be fine servers, but my personal experience with them was horrendous, as shown above. I won't say not to go to this restaurant because, aside from my experience with this specific server, it was fine as a place to dine. If Cantina Grill or Deluuca are reading this, please be more aware of how you are treating your guests and stay professional.
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
I grabbed some street-style tacos between flights at Denver. It was fine, nothing special, nothing bad. The server was very generous with the chicken in the soft tacos, and topped them with cheese, sour cream, salsa and some OK lettuce and corn relish. Nothing else came with the tacos, so the order is just for 3 little tacos in a box, no rice or anything, at airport prices. For airport food, it wasn't bad.
google avatar

Nicholas L.

Yelp
For an airport taco restaurant it ain't half bad! I got a carne asada queso burrito with chips and salsa and it was solid. Everything seemed fresh, pretty quick. Server was good. The salsa was pretty bland and watery, but everything else was excellent. Has a good selection of tequila (20+ bottles), beer and sodas. Cool place to escape the terminals. I'd go back.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Not the most amazing place to eat, but it's better than waiting around the airport if you have a long time in between two flights. The nachos were pretty good though!
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
Breakfast at the airport. Not too many choices - most places were pretty crowded. The grill was open and had plenty of seating available. Ordered the breakfast burrito (carnitas) with OJ. Food came out pretty quickly and was hot and good. The green chili on top was an upcharge - could have been a little more of it, but everything was tasty. Good service too.
google avatar

Ellie W.

Yelp
The food at Cantina was great. The atmosphere was refreshing, considering you are eating an airport, and will be flying for several hours.
google avatar

R S.

Yelp
Terminal B - popped in because it was packed and had some time but didn't have to wait long - less than 5 minutes and we had 2 hours between flights so why not. Service- Slow and impersonal- the server didn't look us in the eye and the person dropping the food off dropped it on the table and turned around immediately after. Was never asked if we would like water or even a drink to go with my food. Waited 30 minutes after I finished eating to get someone's attention to pay my bill. Worst part of this experience is that the food made us sick- vomited the sour cream, verde sauce , chicken. I am assuming it is because fresh ingredients were not used which did not settle well at all and made for a terrible flight experience. Do not recommend eating here.
google avatar

B D.

Yelp
I bought almost $30 food, basket of chips and guac, two tacos and side of rice but no salsa in sight even though the rice was just tasteless white rice with a few pieces of corn it (no joke). Asked for salsa for my tacos, rice, chips, $30 worth of food and they charged me for a side of salsa. Congratulations you're the first Mexican restaurant in the world to not have salsa with chips or the meal. You can do that but don't expect any guest to like you. One star for complete indifference to customers.

Rylee L.

Yelp
Cantina grill was a nice meal to have in between my flights. The food was good but not that good. The service was nice and they made my food fast. Overall a good meal. Thanks cantina!

Lance R.

Yelp
Never, never, never again ! ! ! My expectations were low entering the cantina. Just seeking a peaceful meal and relax prior to a flight. The service was rancid! I only tipped 20% and they swiped up the completed check before there was much time to finish. At first it appeared like an indication that I was doing something wrong until realizing the same action occurred with other patrons. A common practice at this location. The chips were nasty and cold, the Salsa (if you dare to call it that) was like soup. Only redeeming factor were the street tacos which I would describe as okay. I asked the waitress for a rag as the table had guacamole and chip crumbs all over it. After some time another waitress was asked returning with a rag after a short wait. I asked the empty glass be removed after being replaced with a new one as the table was very small. She replied "I'm not walking back that way" and left. The finale, after my table had been cleared a glass of water was requested. Her reply was no. We have a waitlist and you have been here an hour. Sitting in amazement I looked at 3-4 empty tables and another 3 waiting to be cleaned. It took at least 15 min to taking the order, another 25 to receive the food leaving about 25 minutes to consume. I was kind throughout the experience. After the shock wore off I left in a calm fashion with not a single word uttered. At least I have an epic horror story to share with friends about the Cantina in DEN international airport event of 2023. I should have read the reviews before supporting this restaurant.
google avatar

Hunter J.

Yelp
Carna Asada Tacos - cold. Queso Dip - cold. Chicken Tacos (the wife's) - cold. I didn't eat the food because it was ice cold so I can't comment on the taste. But I did ask for it to be reheated, at which time the sever said "we don't have a microwave, I can't heat it up." Bill came and despite not eating any of it. Not even one bite. Server still charged for the entire meal. $45. Garbage!!! Please save your money. Opt for McDonald's instead.

Steve B.

Yelp
Got the Carne Asada burrito. Spilt with my wife and we both enjoyed it. Food prices were reasonable but drink prices seemed a bit high. Service was great!
google avatar

Gustavo C.

Yelp
Our group of three decided to look for a sit down restaurant before getting on a plane and heading back home after spending a weekend in Denver. Cantina Grill had a large sitting area and seemed pretty packed. The hostess informed us that food might take 35 plus minutes to come out and if we had a problem with time. After letting her know our flight had been delayed, she proceeded to sit us down in a table. We decided to order the Carne Asada burrito. Overall flavor was good. Burrito had a lot of beans. The burrito was a bit spicy and had quiet a lot of pepper. Overall for being airport food, it was good. Our table ordered beer on tap. Temperature and flavor were both good.
google avatar

Juan G.

Yelp
Excellent food service was off the hook !! Great clean tables obviously good food they were busy but still hot my food out in a hurry!! Never let my tea empty out!! Pollo Street Tacos were great
google avatar

Sunny C.

Yelp
Honestly not sure why this place has such an abysmal rating. Is it because people expect michelin quality food at ... an airport? Inquiring minds want to know. I had a long wait until my red eye flight so after circling the terminals several times, I stopped by this place for some dinner and I thought the food was pretty decent. The chips/guac were good as was the tofu tacos. A little disappointed in their lack of fish or shrimp options but then again, I realize I'm in a landlocked state and maybe that's asking for too much. The waiter seemed to be friendly and didn't try to rush me out of the place. I had a good time/sitting by the window was great actually.
google avatar

Kara D.

Yelp
I hate to base a review on the interaction with just one server however I fly every week for work and have never been treated this way. As I entered the full service side they said I could sit anywhere I proceeded to the tables along the wall next to the outlets sat down at a 4 seat table and took my laptop out to do work. The incredibly rude server races over and screams at me that these tables are reserved for families. She then told me to sit a the single table with the outlet above my head. **sidenote the restaurant was empty. I told her I didn't want my phone dangling in the air and if I could just scoot over the table to reach the low outlet. She then proceeds to take the table and slam it against the wall with my laptop on it and says it had to stay here. I've never been treated so poorly and will not be returning.
google avatar

Sean K.

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars i totally would. They are super rude and food is wack. Took 30 mins to just place an order, zero shit given to customers.
google avatar

Nacime K.

Yelp
Had the best service and ordered the vegetarian tacos. Super tasty and clean. I love their salsa, chips and guac too! Kevin was such a great server. He was friendly, attentive and very helpful. They make everything fresh there including their refried beans. Will definitely go back.
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
This place isn't horrible but it's not good. It fills you up, but unlike many Mexican restaurants, does not include unlimited chips and salsa, even though the price is about the same. Ordered the chicken burrito and the pork burrito. The pork burrito was much better than the chicken burrito, which was shredded. But in the end both meats were pretty dry and would've been hard to eat if there wasn't green sauce and hot sauce on the table to give it some more punch and flavor. The service was slow, so for those who are in ANY rush, don't come here. They don't move quickly and they sometimes forget your order. The table next to us waited for a while before the waitress discovered that "the kitchen lost their ticket." They were still able to make the food in time, but they had to shove it in a box to go to make their flight. There seems to be quite a few other eateries around this restaurant, might be a better bet to try something else.
