Cantina

A beautiful setting to enjoy some fantastic dishes with superb products from the island. The wine list is also very interesting. I struggled to find good local wines in other places in the island but this time the waitress gave us some advice and we went for a gorgeous Menorcan rosé. We ordered grilled prawns, amongst other sharing starters. We had some veggie friends in our table and we ordered the grilled vegetables paella and let me tell you it was incredible. I’d like to come back next year and try have dinner in the evening as the location and setting is very special. The host made us feel very welcome, thank you again, despite the place being packed everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. See you next year.

amazing location in the garden of the island, fresh produce, nice presentation and good taste! time arrival and departure by boat to not get stuck and incl the visit to the gallery! only thing to improve: the cheesecake was not that nice and way too creamy

I don’t understand how this place has an average of 4 star rating..! Went with a large group for dinner and absolutely loved everything about this place. Food was sensational (recommend sharing a bunch of the starters and the T Bone steak was amazing), service was exceptional and as others have mentioned, setting was beautiful (feels like a fairytale)

Came across this place whilst visiting the Gallery and Hospital. We got some wine and snacks and the food was delicious! The main menu looked incredible and would definitely go back to have dinner! The setting under the trees is beautiful and staff very good! Definitely visit if you are in Mahon! If you time it right you can catch the boat back as the sun is setting!

Wonderful food. Amazing atmosphere (under the trees looking out on the water) And fantastic service (Lisa was great). We had dinner and it was one of the best of our two week trip.

Amazing outdoor dining location, definitely worth a visit. The food (mains are chargrilled roasts) was good but for Mahon fine dining standards not special. Service was adequate.

This was my second visit to Cantina. Had been last year and had a great time. This time the food was as good - the menu was different and everything we ordered was great. The let down was the service - in particular the disinterested maitre d' who was too busy in conversation to acyually do his job. I felt he let the other staff down by his unprofessional behaviour - it felt like an inconvenience to be seated and we were made to feel like idiots for standing there waiting to be shown to our table. Hopefully he won't be there next time as I'm defintiley coming back.
