"Mas Malo, Downtown La. When you crave a salsa flight and some tasty margaritas, head to Mas Malo. Unlike it's namesake, it's not terrible at all, actually it's quite delicioso. The dimly lit-restaurant is set in the historic former Brock & Company jewelry store built in 1923. And their happy hour is a great excuse to start enjoying tequila as early as 3pm (does anyone really need an excuse?). Don't leave without enjoying a tasting in their the tequila vault located at the back of the restaurant. Just don't have so much that you get locked in."
I was there the other week and it was amazing. Great drinks, great music. My bartender was great and created some amazing drinks for me on the spot. Absolutely worth the trip if you're in DTLA.
