Awful Food. We tried the chicken burger and it looked like my cat food which we get in a metal can. The taste was really bad and the frites was wet like a washing sponge.

Yelp
5 stars because of a variety of reasons. As a vegetarian, I love the veggie burgers, and the Tacos. Consistent in taste and flavour. And then, there's the friendly people, always smiling and making you more of a fan of Cantine. I've eaten veggie burgers across Paris, and this place figures in the top three. It's a must visit, and the Cantine at Marche St Honoré has become more than a weekly affair. To sum up, the food and the people remind you of your close friends, and puts you in a comfort zone.

Yelp
Oh man I was sure I was going to be the first person to review this. Anyways, I went to Cantine California at Marche Raspail today, after LITERALLY dreaming about getting my hands one of their burgers last night. I was not disappointed. The pair that own the food truck were super friendly and helpful and enthusiastic about our enthusiasm. It was great. I got the Half Moon Bay Burger: Roquefort, blackened red peppers, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions and of course a special sauce. The burger was done right, had enough fat so it wasn't dry and nasty and the bun was substantial and delicious. Oh, did I mention they offer SWEET POTATO FRIES? This is so uniquely American so obviously I got them. And they were spot on. To end the lunch I had a red velvet cupcake, that they gladly replaced for me when I received it, covered in walnuts (I'm allergic). The cupcake itself was a perfect level of moistness, and the frosting. Oh the frosting. Not cloyingly sweet, and had the perfect amount of cream cheese. I cannot wait to head back here for their blueberry pancakes/bacon combo some morning. (They have bottles and bottles of REAL maple syrup at your disposal...not to mention plentiful amounts of Heinz ketchup and HOT SAUCE. And some sort of caramel for their French toast.) I love all food that comes from a truck, but this place was especially endearing. ENORRMEE coup de coeur!!

Yelp
The burgers were mouthwatering and extremely flavorful. The French fries were even better. We'll be back!

Yelp
Great to see the rest of the world catching up to wannabe upscale dining in France. About to be gone is the high end deccor, prices and dress code, along with the wines that cost a months pay. In is the young, fresh wines, casual FRESH dining- and street food. Welcome to the real world Paris. You have been finding street food in San Francisco, Bogata and Singapore for a long time now. Great fresh burgers. I had the half moon bay, in a desperate attempt to feel home, and it worked. The Cali classic was said to be outstanding too. Can not wait to be back. So not exspensive and worth every buck, sorry, Euro.

Yelp
YUM. I just went here for lunch with a friend after reading about it on yelp. We're both from the United States, I'm from the east coast but live in San Francisco for two years, so we were both craving a GOOD, American style burger. This place did NOT disappoint! For 11 euros you get a burger and hand-cut fries, and all of the burgers cost the same amount of money which I thought was great! I got the California Classic, which had avocado, red onions, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, bacon, cheddar cheese, and a home-made sauce. It was absolutely wonderful. Each bite was juicy and all of the ingredients tasted SO fresh. My only regret is that I ate it was too quickly and then wished I had more to be eating, even though the burgers are pretty huge! The fries were really good as well, I got classic (they also offer sweet potato) and they're hand cut! Then for dessert I decided to try a red-velvet cupcake, which was pretty great but not all that moist... although the cream cheese was superb. While we were there, there was a camera crew filming and my friend and I were interviewed, so we'll be on TV with food hanging out of ours mouths :). This would be 4 stars if it were just a bit cheaper. 11 euros is a good price, but because it's a food stand and its take away food I feel it should be a bit less.

Yelp
I vastly preferred my experience at Cantine California to that of it's rival truck--you know, that other one. The service was far friendlier, the wait far less, and my burger just as good (and organic !). The sweet potato fries are a definite bonus, and I *would* like to go check out their brunch options. I think their locations, their attitude, and their variety of offerings are far more in the spirit of what foodtrucks are about. I'll definitely be back here, which is more than I can say for any other food trucks currently driving the streets of Paris.
