Cantonal museum of fine arts Lausanne

Very beautiful museum, interesting architecture, and spacious. We went on weekday and it wasn’t very crowd. Although there were not right directions at first to store my personal belongings and we had to go to the foyer again. It was a little bit inconvenient but in general I enjoyed this visit.

Great art collection, though not quite as expected. The building itself is interesting, but the exhibitions were just okay. Nice for a wander, but underwhelming given the scale of the space.

If you visit take the train or bus. There is no parking. Fantastic place.

had the pleasure of visiting the Magdalena Abakanowicz exhibition in this beautiful museum. Everything felt like magic – the whole walk was one big universe. The museum is absolutely wonderful.

It is literally amazing! The huge building would itself defines a strong feeling; which inside is full art, classic and contemporary works. It is more about the experience. The whole art district is amazing. Don’t miss it if you are visiting Lausanne. It could be one of your best experiences ever.
