A True Haven of Peace in the Heart of Cambodia I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel, nestled on a paradise island in Cambodia. Far from the hustle and bustle, it is the perfect place to recharge in peace, lulled by the sound of birdsong. The natural surroundings are simply breathtaking: a river, mountains, and lush vegetation as far as the eye can see. The accommodation is comfortable and seamlessly blends into the environment, offering a beautiful harmony between nature and modernity. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure our experience was perfect. A special mention goes to the cuisine, which serves delicious dishes with both local and international flavors. If you’re looking for a place to relax, disconnect, and immerse yourself in Cambodia’s natural beauty, this hotel is a hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back!

This is a piece of paradise. Only accessible by island in the most stunning of setting - absolutely away from everything else. The staff were amazing - the service was first class. Our “tent” was glamping in its finest form. Right on the river - the food was amazing - the whole atmosphere and setting was simply perfect. Our only gripe was that we didn’t have a long enough stay - 2 nights and only the one full day. If relaxation and escape is on the agenda, this wonderful place is a must. We loved it and didn’t want to leave. All the staff waved us off when we left - we felt like part of their family - just loved it and such an amazing experience.

An incredibly beautiful place. If you’re in Cambodia, make the journey here—you won’t regret it. Stunning, untouched nature with plenty of opportunities for tours (kayaking, trekking, village visits). A strong emphasis is placed on sustainability and environmentally conscious tourism. The food was fantastic, with great attention to detail. Dietary restrictions (gluten, lactose) were accommodated perfectly. The staff takes care of absolutely everything and even arranges private taxi pick-ups—no matter where you are in Cambodia. Due to ongoing road construction projects, the journey is significantly faster than what Google Maps indicates.

This was a little piece of paradise. Set on the banks of the Tatai river the individual tented lodges gave you privacy by the waterside and an ability to swim straight from your deck. The staff, without exception were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The food delicious and lots to choose from. We also loved the ethos of the place with their focus on sustainability and community

Great three night stay at this beautiful and peaceful resort. The tents are clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and reasonably priced evening meals. All the staff were fantastic and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.

A wonderful retreat where you feel immersed in nature. We enjoyed boat trips to see sunset, waterfalls and the mangroves and a local village. Also an early morning hike in the forest.. The staff are very helpful and give a very warm welcome. Particularly recommend the waterfall trip and taking 3 days at this lovely spot.

Peace, Serenity and Beyond! (LONG POST AHEAD)||This place is highly recommended! Dont let the road contruction at last part sway you off from coming to this beautiful location, Im telling you it is all worth it,||Me and my wife travelled here last September,|and i can still remember the feeling of traquility and hospitality offered to us. ||Once you arrived at their receiving port you will be offered cold towels and drink to freshen up yourself from the long ride. The sight at the port is already breathtaking as the river is sourounded by lucious trees and plants you can even hear the the birds chirping when there are no boats around,||You will then take a 15-20 minutes boat ride to arrive at the location. The last minutes of this journey is the most enjoyable as you will see the floating tents resting and floating in the island banks, it was such a sight to see.||Once at the dock you will be greeted by Paulo (the head of the team) and he will explained all the neccessary and extra things that you could do during your stay, it was a full briefing and we really enjoyed the knowledge that he shared to us.|||After the quick briefing you will then be escorted to your luxurius tent! (JUST WOW!) We were surprised and astonished as to how they brought everything a hotel can offer in such a secluded place. ( i wont spoil anything you just have to see it for yourself) |||The place is quite large as they have their own place where you can play volleyball and a place to play board games and stuff! we stayed at the far end tent so you need to walk to get to the kitchen and bar area. It also amazing that they are growing some of their own vegetables and most of their staff are also the people living in the island! (Talk about sustainability!)||We didnt do much on the first day as we just wanted to relax and enjoy the place, the bar was really enjoyable although the place were secluded in the jungle and river, there are ample selection of liquor and wines, you can even request for a cocktail! The selection of their snack is also awesome as they have a combination of western, asian and local dishes you wont really feel limited with the choices they offer not to mention the portion for the price are really generous!||During night time as we go out for dinner we were invited by Bona to watch a small presentation regarding the Cardamom mountains and its habitats. It was a short but an amazing presentation as they showed us the footage of their camera traps installed inside the forest just close to the vicinity of the place. ( again i wont spoil what the footages are but it was amazing) Oh I almost forgot before the show start you will have a first hand taste of their local liquor! (not sure if you can buy it from them tho!). ||Bona also explained to us how engaged Canvas and Orchids are with community projects with village residents, It such a heart warming story especially with the school they have built for the children in the island. I believe Bona was the head of excursions team as well as in charge of the all the staff residing in the island he was never boring to talk with! |||Dinner time, we were greeted and served by Ms. Srey ??? who speaks really good english, The dinner set changes everynight buy you can always order from the snacks menu if you dont want to eat a complete set. Same as their snack selection, yo uare also given a choice between western and local cuisine. (The local dessert is a must try!)||The next day me and my wife decided not to do any excursion but we did use their kayaks to check out the small waterfall and natural hidden pool that Bona told us the night before, It only took about 7 minutes in Kayak and 5 minutes of walking to reach this amazing natural beauty!|The natural landscape and flow of the rainwater overtime made a spectular rectangular pool! It was amazing that this kind of location exist and its just nearby the tents! The water is very clear and very cold! we spend roughly 2 hours in this location and decided to go back and spend the whole day relaxing in balcony of our tents!||We stayed here sadly for two nights only, wish we could have stayed more! This is one of my most favorite places on earth it really has peace , serenity and beyond!. ||To the one reading this hope you can stay and have a memorable experience too!||Kudos to all the staff!!||Will probably come back next year!

We have just returned from staying for 3 nights at this wonderful resort. We could not recommend it highly enough. It was a long trek to get there, but well worth it. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed and relaxed. The team could not be more friendly, accommodating or helpful. The tents are well equipped and floating on the river (for two people, the family tents are on land, behind the floating ones) - a real treat. The food is amazing - the set menu has 4 courses but you can choose from an al a carte menu - and they were able to provide for the fussy vegetarians amongst us and the one person with a shell fish allergy. They put on trips during the day - the waterfall is a fabulous trip and you stop off at a local school. We went at the start of the rainy season so there is plenty of water to swim in at the waterfalls (apparently it dries up in the summer (dry) months. The short boat trip to see the fireflies is really good too. The kayaks are good fun - you can use them at the resort and they take them on the trips (all by boat). The staff were wonderful and most speak good English. Well worth a visit.
