Absolutely the highlight of our trip! Canyon Adventures Bike Tours and Café was not only the most affordable option, but hands-down the most fun experience we had. We picked a scenic route with stunning views, and a stop at a barn where we got to pet mules—and even spotted some elk! The customer service was outstanding. Liz got us set up quickly and was super friendly, and the real hero was Randal who went above and beyond by mailing back a hoodie we accidentally left behind. Truly exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Google
The Hermit Road Bike Tour was great! It gets you away from the crowded overlooks, and you get to bike at the Grand Canyon! This was the perfect tour for our group of 8, ranging in age from 4-67 to enjoy together! The guides were awesome and provided lots of great info! The Hermit Road tour is mostly downhill, and the road isn’t crowded. Also a plus- they had XXL bikes for the extra tall folks in our party, tagalong bike for the 6 year old, and a trailer for the 4 year old to ride in style! Everyone was taken care of, and this was a highlight of our week in Arizona.

We rented e-bikes for a full day cycling around the grand Canyon and enjoyed very much the beautiful views across the over 44km of road and cycle path covered. Definitely the most enjoyable way to cover all view points across red and orange routes. However, I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the e-bikes for the price paid, since we previously rented some e-bikes on Zion National Park that were not only cheaper but way better in terms of assistance (you could be lazy and drive for long time). Too expensive for what you get, but the experience of cycling the grand canyon is still worth it.

We recently did a guided tour with Canyon Adventure Bike Tours on a family trip to the Grand Canyon and it was wonderful. The shuttle made for a fairly easy mostly down hill ride and all the equipment was in great shape. One of my kids is a novice bicyclist and it was still manageable and fun for him. I highly recommend choosing the guided tour. Our guide, Dylan, was wonderful. He was super knowledgeable and passionate about being a guide and the Grand Canyon. Despite being to the Grand Canyon several times before, we learned a lot from him. One last note - the cafe drinks were a nice touch ahead of the morning ride.

My wife and I loved exploring the South Rim on two wheels. Her e-bike was a game changer, allowing her to zip up hills and thoroughly enjoy the magnificent views. We felt safe and inspired on the network of greenways and closed-to-cars roads. We couldn’t have done it without Canyon Adventures.

Google
Bike Grand Canyon (bike rental) A life saver if you want to do the 21 mile Hermit Trail with a dog! They offer pedal bikes,e-bikes, and dog trailers and set you up so you are ready to hit the trails. 100% recommend renting bikes to get the most of the Grand Canyon, especially if you don't want to hike the entire time or have a pet that can't hike far distances as easily.

Google
Super helpful and friendly staff. Our tour guide, Carlie (sp?), was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was an easy ride for most people (I would think), so maybe not a good fit for someone seeking a workout. The information and views were fantastic.

Google
This spot is awesome. First, the folks helping us learn to use our e-bikes were incredibly helpful and informative. The bikes were super comfortable, easy to use, and made the ride to Hermits Rest incredibly easy. They gave a warning that this can be too far of a ride for some but with the e-bikes we made it there and back with stoping at view points in less than 3 hours. When we returned, we grabbed an iced coffee and iced mocha from the cafe which were incredible. One thing to note is the e-bikes can go extremely fast and there is a ton of wildlife so know how to comfortably use your breaks. We saw elk, mule deer, chipmunks, and big horned sheep that ran across the road in front of us that required quick stops! The most enjoyable experience of our Grand Canyon vacation; highly recommended!

Yelp
We didn't bike, so we can't comment on that staff or bikes. We stopped by the cafe before hiking. Bought a peanut butter and jelly sandwich from the fridge to share. It was thick cut, soft bread and yummy. We went by for another one on our way out of the park the next day! Gotta know - what kind of peanut butter and bread do you use????

Yelp
This is a review of the Hermit Road Bike Tour. I can't speak to the cafe or to the self-guided bike rentals. The Hermit Road Bike Tour was awesome! If you haven't visited the Grand Canyon before, I highly recommend booking this bike tour. Also, mid-October was the perfect time to visit. The weather was so comfortable --- not too hot and not too cold. The tour starts and ends at the Bright Angel Bicycles rental shop inside the Grand Canyon. If you're visiting for the tour, make sure to notify the park entrance --- we heard you can get a park entrance pass at a discounted rate. Unfortunately, we didn't know that until already in the park. Overall, this bike ride is very easy. There is 1 spot towards the end that has a few small up hill climbs but it's overall a pretty easy bike ride. My sister at 20-weeks pregnant was able to do the ride no problem. The information shared by our guide was so great! I don't think you'd get the same information from a self-guided tour which is one of the biggest reasons I'd recommend this bike tour. Our guide was very friendly, very kind, and very informative. Unfortunately, we had 2 couples in our group that loved to interrupt her, talk off topic, and fact check her so that was unfortunate. If you're looking for a tour around the Grand Canyon, book this one!

K S.

Yelp
Poor customer service. Called ahead before making the 45 minute hike. Gave our heights and asked for e bikes. Im too short for an e bike which would have been nice to know when I called. The kid was rude and did not apologize instead he only said It wasn't him that answered the phone. Thanks for nothing.

Yelp
Bait and switch!!! "Wait an hour and bikes will be available." There's nothing to do but eat the overpriced prepackaged BAD FOOD. An hour later; "no we will not have any walk ins this afternoon, come back tomorrow". Great thanks for wasting our time and money, we'll go elsewhere.

Yelp
The staff members were quick and helpful. In ten minutes of my arrival, I was biking around the South Rim of the Grand Canyon!

Yelp
This is a review of the Yaki Point bike tour. Amazing experience! Our guide Kevin was fantastic! I booked online for a friend and myself. We did our waivers online and showed up a few minutes early to get into our helmets and try out the bikes. We took the bikes around the parking lot for a few minutes to make sure everything was working right and we knew how to operate everything. Then, we were off! Our group had 11 people in it plus our guide - 5 women celebrating their 50th birthdays, a family of 4, and my friend and I. For my friend and I, this was our first time seeing the Grand Canyon, and, wow, it did not disappoint! I was a little nervous because I hadn't been on a bike in years (does Peloton count?) but, as they say, it was just like riding a bike. The tour was wonderful. We stopped a few times, so it never felt like too long of a ride. Kevin showed us plants, cool trees, and rock formations and told us about the history of the Grand Canyon and how the park operates. We saw elk, lots of birds, and mules in their stable. Kevin also took lots of photos for us. This was a great way to get a taste of the Grand Canyon and get excited for our hike the next day. I highly recommend this tour! (For lunch I grabbed a burro from the cafe. It was delicious but I agree with the previous reviewer that the cafe folks are RUDE and just out to scam customers. But I won't let that take away from the 5 stars that Kevin and the bike tour earned!)

Yelp
Avoid this place if you can. Don't let the marketing photos fool you, the only food at this cafe is premade. We got a sandwich which was soggy and a salad which tasted old. A lot of the shelves were empty so our choices were limited. The line can get long and moves slowly with only 1 cashier. Most of the staff were nice with the exception of this dark haired girl making coffee drinks that had a really poor attitude. If you can, eat outside the park. Otherwise, only come here if it is your last resort.

Chris E.

Yelp
Rude service and staff. They tried to overcharge me and then gave me attitude when I pointed it out. Double check your receipt.

Yelp
Let me preface this review, I am born and raised in NYC, I currently live in NJ, I am very accustomed to rude, inconsiderate, miserable people all around me. Pretty much all but one employee at both the bike rental and the cafe were the most miserable humans I have ever encountered. I have never encountered such bad service as I did here. I'm not even sure how it's possible to be this miserable with the Grand Canyon as your office. I arrived with my family a little after 1pm. I had no idea what time we would be arriving at the park, since we were driving from Utah, so I did not pre-book a rental. We arrived much earlier than anticipated so we decided to head over to Bright Angel after checking out some other areas. There was an employee outside so we walked over and asked if they had any e-bike rentals available. He told us he wasn't sure but to go inside and ask. I walked inside the small room with one of my kids. There were two women inside, one on the phone and the woman who acknowledged me. She immediately told me I shouldn't be in there and go back outside. When I told her that her co-worker sent me inside she got annoyed, told me to go outside and walked out to talk to him. The first employee told us to give him a few minutes to see how many reservations came in but we would probably only be able to get two bikes. We waited and waited as he took people coming with reservations behind us. At no point did he let us know if there was any availability. After 20 minutes I decided to go back inside to ask again if we were wasting our time waiting. The woman in the nastiest tone told me that unless we were coming with a party of twenty we were fine and go back outside and wait. We waited at least another 10 minutes as the male employee continued to look past us and wait for people with reservations to arrive. At this point my husband was quietly fuming and ready to walk away. Finally he turned to us and let us know we could rent five bikes. My husband went inside to pay while me and the kids got helmets. We were sent to a few feet away to wait for someone to bring out our bikes. Another 20 minutes passes and at this point my kids are getting hangry so a couple of us go next door to the attached cafe to grab a few snacks. We come back out and we're finally ready to get going. What should have been a fairly quick interaction had us standing around waiting for close to an hour. An hour we could have spent on the trails. Unfortunately this is the best (only) option to get a bike rental inside the park. If you can bring your own, do it. The bikes were not in the best shape and my sons bike rattled the entire time. My other sons battery was 3/4 charged. I only gave two stars instead of one because this is an awesome option for seeing the Grand Canyon from a different perspective.

Wen L.

Yelp
Terrible service. Rude staff. Do not recommend. Unfortunately, it is the only biking rental site on the south rim.

Jason K.

Yelp
Be careful they only rent bikes 4 hours a day between 10am and 2pm with all bikes need to be back by 4pm. Staff is rude and unprofessional with extreme body oder.

Yelp
Not very accessible for ADA folks. Small spaces made smaller inside with an ice machine blocking the exit door. I had a bag of doritos $2 can of root beer and a turkey and berry cream cheese sandwich $10. Simple, plain, the ciabatta bun was soft but very very floury. Prices were decent. Great to grab a quick bite between adventures.

Yelp
There's not many food places around Grand Canyon. This one is a small grab and go place that's conveniently located by the Visitor Center and bike rental place which is also walking distance to the Rim Trail to Mather's Point. It was so hot so I got Iced Mocha. They don't offer anything blended except for the smoothie. Also the Iced drinks only come in 16 oz or larger. They only make drinks. As far as food, it's grab and go style that you can grab food like premade sandwiches in the fridge and pastries in the cabinet. You can also purchase sunscreen, hat, protein bars, chips. There are tables out side and a drinking fountain. Their water tastes so good because it comes directly from the spring!

Yelp
We took the Hermits Rest Tour, it was perfect but do wish there was a bit more time at Hermits Rest. We picked up food at the cafe afterwards and this was the first cold case I saw in the south rim with a vegan sandwich option they wasn't pbj. They also had a great coffee bar and other plant based snacks.

Yelp
I couldn't fit my bike rack onto the rental car. Lucky for me, this bike rental spot was open despite Covid shutdown. Operating hours are 10am-4pm. After signing a waiver, their friendly staff got me all set up with a helmet and map. Their fleet of KHS cruisers are very well maintained. The brakes feel solid and the shifting is crisp. This doesn't make up for the fact that these budget bikes are made of jello. The bike frame flexes and folds into itself with every pedal stroke. I almost crashed several times because the front fork twisted into a knot while turning a corner. The paved bike paths around the park are amazing to ride. I'm glad I got to experience it but I wish I had a better bike

Yelp
We arrived about 8:30 am. Didn't do reservations due to not knowing exactly when we would arrive and wanted to do this first. If you have an exact time- i recommend. Walk ups are served last, we had one family ahead of us yet waited an hour to even get helped due to those with reservations coming up and being pushed ahead. We rented e-bikes and so glad we did. Really helped with hills. We did 2 hours and originally planned to do Yaki viewpoints and back but we finished that including stops for water and photos in 40 minutes. We ended up being able to get all the bike trails in and returned exactly at the 2 hour mark completed 21 miles per my Apple Watch. We really enjoyed the morning hours and sights on a bike which wasn't to bad on an e-bike.

Yelp
We had a fun self-guided ride from the bicycle depot to Hermit's Rest and found the bikes to be in relatively good condition (one changed gears much more smoothly than the other, but both held up during the 23-mile ride). A few elements of the process could be improved for pickup though. In particular, it would be convenient to have a separate check-in line for those who have reservations. We arrived for all-day rental, booked months in advance, and were told to join the general line that combined walk-ups and reservations. On occasion, the staff lead would ask if anyone had reservations and give those groups priority, but that came after waiting in line for about 15 mins. We also pre-ordered lunch, which was tasty and generally packaged small enough to fit in our backpack. Would've been nice to have a way to secure a small zip pack under the bike seats or atop a platform extension atop the back wheel. The staff did a good job of making safety a priority on a day with gathering clouds, noting to drop the bikes anywhere and take cover if needed -- that they would come find them after a storm. We didn't need to do that but were glad they said it. The full-line buses to also have bike racks, for those who only want to bike part of the way. It was a fun way to see the many amazing vista points along Hermit Road!

Yelp
I rented e-bikes for a day so my boyfriend and I could see as much as possible of the Grand Canyon South Rim during our short 3 day visit. We picked up our bikes around 9am and had plenty of time to leisurely ride out to Hermit's Rest Stop and then all the way back over to the South Kaibab Trailhead and Yaki Point. My boyfriend had a flat tire in the middle of our ride and they delivered a replacement bike right away. The staff was friendly, thorough in their instructions, and got us checked in quickly so we could head out to see the area. Returning the bikes was equally quick and easy. I would definitely recommend renting bikes from this company and will do so again myself next time I make it out to the Grand Canyon.

Yelp
Bright Angel Bicycles and Cafe has pretty much anything a tourist might need. And for having a captive Grand Canyon audience, prices were not bad at all. A Chicken Salad sandwich was only $5.39 and was big enough to share. Two 16 ounce coffees to go were $5.20, and a bag of chips, $1.25. All within easy walking distance of the South Rim. Don't hesitate to go there when at the South Rim.
google avatar

Jenna T.

Yelp
I HIGHLY reccomend the Yaki Point Bike Tour with Bright Angels. They bring you to locations that aren't crowded, the route they take is not strenuous at all, our guide Caleb was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and this is a BANG for your buck. If you do anything at the Grand Canyon, do this. Also, the espresso in the cafe is absolutely delicious and the bagels are fluffy. Everything here made my Grand Canyon experience a 100000/10.

Yelp
Kinda bummed out by this experience. We have a 9 month old and a 2.5 year old and we rode in on the train. We could have purchased a double stroller and brought it on the train but this place advertised a very nice double stroller with brand name and pictures. I did some research on the exact stroller they advertised and decided it looked sleek and easy to fold. So based on the info on their very own website we left our stroller at home. When we got there it took a while for them to find the double stroller (which is honestly nbd since their thing is bikes) but when they brought it out it was a cheap janky hard to fold hard to carry thing. Made using the shuttle hard and was difficult to push around. Kinda ticked because it made our three hours there kind of difficult and I purposefully did research based on their own advertising. I don't recommend the stroller rental. The people were nice enough so two stars.

Yelp
Before visiting the Grand Canyon I called and booked a bike rental with Bright Angel, and so very glad that I did. They were very helpful both at reservation and during the check-in process. They have a big supply of bike rentals and my bike was very suitable for the ride. They explain the trail options clearly. I rode out to Hermits Rest and back. The initial part of the ride is on a path in the woods to the Village. So, you are not riding on the narrow and crowded South Rim Trail. After the Village, it's all a road (uphill mostly) to Hermits Rest. You need to move out of the way for occasional GC patron buses, but early in the morning it was a non-issue. The views of the GC along the South Rim are spectacular! What a way to start the day. Round trip was 22 miles, but with hills and high elevation that was more than enough.

Yelp
My first time visit would've been almost perfect except for my experience here at the cafe. I was waiting in line for the next available cashier/barista. When it was my turn, Kurt refused to take my order because I was standing in front of the register next to him and not in front of him. I explained that the other cashier was busy and made me wait. He took the order of the guest behind me and I was still not helped. I don't understand why he would not take me order, it was disrespectful. At the end he asked to take my order, I respectfully declined and waited since he thought it was crucial for the other cashier to take my order. Shout out to him for being very kind. It was an upsetting experience.

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting the South Rim for a few days and wanted to see as much of the canyon as possible. Of course we planned some hiking into the canyon, but as everyone knows - the canyon has stunning views along the rim! With a little bit of research and help from my guidebook, I found Bright Angel Bike Rentals. I read some of the information about the tours and rentals. I decided that the best fit for my friend and I was to rent two bikes to bike the Rim Trail from Hopi Point to Hermits Rest. The package was called the "Hermit Shuttle Package" on the website. The package included a bike rental, helmet, and shuttle ride to the starting point/and pick-up at the end of the trail. I added the bag lunch option onto our tour for a nominal fee. The shuttle is vital because it takes you from the bike shop out of the busy village to start your ride at Hopi Point along the rim. This strategy also avoids a giant hill that can be quite difficult if you are not a frequent rider. After you complete the 5.5 mile ride along the rim, the shuttle picks you up at a prearranged time at the end of the trail, Hermit's Rest. Piece of cake! We found that parking in P4 was the closest lot to the bike shop. The shop asks that you check-in 30 minutes prior to your ride. This time is used to get your helmet, map, bike setup, and last minute restroom breaks. Remember to plan around park traffic as it can be quite congested entering the park and finding parking spaces. The staff will help you make any adjustments to the bike. The bikes were all in great condition. The staff handed us our bag lunches to put in our backpack and take with us on our ride. That was nice because we could choose our own stopping point to have lunch while viewing the canyon. The café attached to the bike shop makes the lunches. They were quite good! Other than that, bring water to drink on your ride and wear sunscreen. We jumped on the shuttle with some other riders and headed out to Hopi Point to start our ride. The shuttle driver gave us some tips about the ride on our way to Hopi Point. Once you arrive at Hopi Point, there are some restrooms available to use before you start your ride. We got some great pictures at Hopi and then started our ride towards Hermit's Rest. There isn't a bike trail for most of your ride. Instead, you bike along a restricted road that is immediately adjacent to the pedestrian Rim Trail. However, there is little traffic along the road and it was mostly just the park shuttles passing by. Very quite... not much vehicle traffic or pedestrians. The ride is mostly flat and downhill with a few brief easy inclines. You go at your own pace which is nice. We were able to stop along the way at most of the viewpoints and take a ton of photos. The views are tremendous! You essentially can see views of the canyon all along the route. We found a point along the rim with a few empty picnic tables. We broke out our lunches and snacked on those while enjoying the views of the canyon. This area of the South Rim is not packed with pedestrians like the main village so it's nice to get some solitude with the canyon! Taking our time about it, we found ourselves at the end of the trail, Hermit's Rest. There are another set of restrooms here to use. We waited a few minutes taking in some views while waiting for the shuttle to arrive. The driver pulled up right on time and got our bikes loaded for the ride back to the shop. Once back at the shop you drop your helmet off and you are on your way! If you get to Hermit's Rest early or late, you can always use one of the park's shuttle buses to get you and your bike back to the village. Everyone who was working at the shop including the shuttle driver was super friendly and helpful. You can tell they love working at Bright Angel. Do this activity on your visit to the Grand Canyon. You will be glad you did!

Yelp
We rented bikes from them recently and did the self guided Hermit's Road ride. Good time. First off, unlike a lot of similar operations at national parks, they actually have pretty decent bikes. Solid frames, gearing, etc. We have a family of five, all of various sizes. Everyone was able to get on a comfortable ride. The rental process was painless. We had done ours on line a few days prior. We checked in at their shop (it's in the GC Village) and they hooked us up with bikes. Helmets required. As far as the ride, it was great. Smooth road, little traffic, mostly downhill. They load up you and the bikes and shuttle you to Hopi Point. You ride to Hermit's Rest and they pick you up and drive back to the village. Saw a herd of elk up close and personal as they crossed the road. And, it's the Grand Canyon. C'mon. I'm not gonna get into prices because if you're here, you're on vacation. Live a little. Also, if you have a 4th grader, make sure you go on-line and get the National Parks pass. It gets you in free to all National Parks. Just remember to bring your 4th grader with you when you visit a park.

Yelp
Great coffee! My hubby loves their coffee and friendly workers. This is the place to come if you need your bike fixed also. 5 stars!

Heather P.

Yelp
This crew is AMAZING! From the moment our group arrived we were treated with smiles, great service, patience, and a stellar experience. We had riders of various levels of ability and they were happy to work with each one of us to make sure you have a safe, amazing ride. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Yelp
Rode as a family for the Hermit Tour: we have a 8 & 11 year old. It was a very doable ride for both...which they both really enjoyed & had lots of comments on the whole tour. My husband & I felt that if we didn't do this tour we wouldn't have seen as much of the South Rim. We would recommend this hands down with families...thank you Matt & Joe, for a great adventure! As well bikes were in great condition- no issues with riding them!

Chris V.

Yelp
We are two 65+ women who rented bicycles along with the shuttle service only to Hopi Point that includes a shuttle ride back from Hermits Rest to the Visitors Center. We did it by ourselves. It was a mostly easy downhill ride to Hermits Rest. Highly recommend this to see without crowds, all the fantastic views on this route where the red buses don't stop. Kudos to our awesome shuttle bus guide Zee was friendly and provided great information along the way! Highly Recommended.

Yelp
5 out of 5 experience! Affordable prices for the unforgettable experience. We rented bikes for my birthday and biked all over south rim all the way to Hopi point. Unbelievable experience. Biking uphill was a bit rough but downhill was soooo much fun. Highly recommend

Sarah H.

Yelp
The service here was super personable and amazing. E bike options and helpful guides. The cafe next to it is also perfect. Came here for a birthday ride and the staff made it the best day. Super appreciative of them and recommend this place. It's great.

Yelp
Rented a wheelchair from this place. Pretty simple, people were friendly. Only improvement I'd suggest is getting 1 or 2 motorized scooters. Pushing someone in a manual wheelchair up and down the paths is a lot of work.

Collin S.

Yelp
My wife and I rented electric bikes. We were very happy with the staff and the bikes we rented. I would highly recommend Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals. I would rent from them again.
google avatar

Sally P.

Yelp
After reading the reviews I became anxious and worried that I won't be able to rent a bike since I didn't make reservation earlier. They opened at 8am so I waited in line by 8am. To my surprise they did have bikes for rent then. I did the whole day bike rental. I have never rented a bike where people took the time to measure my height with the bike. They even took the time to measure my helmet. I always had problems with bikes where it was too tall or short, or the seat was uncomfortable. But the staff took the time to even change the seat for me. I HIGHLY recommend this company with everyone! It's worth it! Also the cost was worth it!

Yelp
I can't imagine any other way of exploring the Grand Canyon than biking on the rim with gorgeous views! We paid about $40 including 5 hour bike rental, one way shuttle, and a helmet (which is required when biking in the park) We biked from the bike shop all the way up to the Hermits Rest within 2.5 hours (The last pick up at Hermits Rest was at 2:30pm) and we stopped at every named points and more, took multiple photos, lunch, and water breaks and had plenty of time. Then after being shuttled back to the bike shop (It took us about 30 min), we used the rest of the 2 hours to bike to Yaki Point and back which allowed us to be on the bike/pedestrian trail along the rim most of the time. Absolutely worth it! To Hermits Rest: 2.5 hours We were on the Hermit Road for a while with bunch of uphill as well as downhill. You share the road with the park buses. Just pull over to the side when they come behind you (they're not allowed to pass cyclists). We only encountered one bus that we had to pullover for our entire trip. Between Monument Creek Vista and a little after Pima point, there is a pedestrian/bike trail along the rim with spectacular views. Shuttle back to Bike Shop: 30 min The driver was a guy named Chuck. He was absolutely friendly and knowledgeable and gave us many pointers including places to see the sunset. Highly recommend the shuttle especially if you have little kids or are beginner/intermediate biker like me. To Yaki Point: 1hr 15min round trip We made stops at every named points as well as 5+ additional photo stops. Most of the trail is along the rim. The ride up to Yaki Point was was mostly slight uphill so coming back to the bike shop was a breeze (The rental bikes have to be returned by 5pm)! One tip: Buy the sandwich at the cafe at the bike shop ($9) instead of bundling it with your bike reservation online ($13.5)

Yelp
Do not follow their website for details on the amount of bikes available. Make sure to make a reservation if you know what time you will be there. I kept an eye on their availability for weeks leading up to our trip. Including the day before, there looked like there was plenty of available bikes. We got there and were told they only took reservations and bikes have been booked for months.

Yelp
Rented pedal assist e-bikes to see Grand Canyon South Rim. Rode out to Hermit Point. Bikes were comfy with good seats. We were checked in quickly and given a good map. All Info provided was accurate. Advised to grab sandwiches at nearly market and advised on good picnic spots. Helmets fit well. Shuttles were careful to wait until we stopped. Everyone we met wished they had rented e-bikes versus taking crowded shuttle or regular bikes. Highly recommended. Great way to see South Rim

Yelp
5 stars without a ride! When we arrived it was pouring rain and the trip was still a go from their perspective. We had pre-paid. Turns out the policy is they go in rainy weather unless the Park Service closes the road due to lightening strikes (they provide ponchos). However, I'm in my 70's and wear glasses and there was no way I would go out for an hour and a half in what was truly a downpour with lightening forecast on iPhone apps. I had to be firm in our "discussion" as its a small business that didn't want to lose the revenue, but ultimately the manager relented and refunded our money. Five stars for doing the right thing and being reasonable. We'll rebook as soon as we get back to the Canyon without hesitation.

Yelp
Bikes & food are good enough Biking around the South Rim is a great way to experience the Grand Canyon Village area and all the views. If you don't bring your own bike, Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals is the only bike rental game in town. The bikes at Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals are adequate but very tired. Time for them to upgrade & renew. The food at the Cafe is not as good as reviews claim - adequate sustenance but not that good.

Yelp
Convenient location for a quick meal if you stayed a bit longer than you were planning - we had a couple of breakfast burritos (fine) with Tapatio (in packets - yay!) and the kids shared a premade sandwich (don't forget the mayo) - nothing outrageously great or awful - most options at national parks are pretty inocuous so that the majority of people will find them acceptable - the service was quick as well - and we were given polite guidance on the microwave (where, how long suggested) - and a polite thank you when we left - pleasantly pleased with this place

Yelp
This is a review for the cafe. Bright Angel is expensive, crowded and offers a very limited menu. Even with those negatives, they earn their four starts. Location Located in between the visitor center and gift shop, this is the perfect location to grab a snack. Crowds Because the shop is very small, and the crowds very large, prepare yourself for a wait. The staff does a good job of moving people through the shop, but just take a deep breath and know you'll be served as soon as possible. Food, etc. Many of the food items for sale are pre-made and in coolers adjacent to the register. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches on our most recent visit and found them to be of above average quality when compared to a typical gas station sandwich. I also ordered an iced coffee which was a very nice treat considering this was the only shop for many miles. Other items Here is one of the main reasons I love Bright Angel. They sell Camelbak water bottles emblazoned with the Grand Canyon name. They are not cheap at all, but this is the only place I found anything like this. It is one of my most cherished possessions because it reminds me of just how magical the canyon is to me. In closing, If you find yourself at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, you need to stop at Bright Angel.

Yelp
Our guided bike tour was a great first activity upon arrival to the Grand Canyon. Kaylie our tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. She took some great photos of our party. I would highly recommend doing the bike tour.

Yelp
If you're looking for the perfect Grand Canyon biking experience look for further. We did the Hermit Trail guided tour with Gavin who was such a knowledgable, helpful and energetic guide. If you're really into biking, like myself then opt for another 2-3 hour rental to explore on your own. Doing the guided tour followed by some self guided exploration is really the best of both worlds and gives you the ultimate Grand Canyon experience. I can't recommend this place enough. All the staff were so helpful and courteous. Thanks Gavin and Casey for all your help and making our experience so special.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, great location and they carry non-diary milk (soy, oat, almond). Latte wasn't the best but it was fair enough and well priced for the location ($ 4.40 with soy/oat milk). I had to pay for tab water though.

Yelp
What an amazing way to see the canyon. Our tour guides Edward and Glen were terrific. They helped us find cool photo spots and were just really friendly creating a fun group dynamic. Just check the weather first to dress appropriately. It happened to be rather cold in mid April for us.

Yelp
Great service, very professional staff. We booked two bikes online to make sure we will have them. Had so much fun riding the Rim. Got tired at the end and had to place bikes on the bike rack of the bus and have a bus tour at the end. You gotta be in shape!

Yelp
We rented the pedal assist bikes and rode the 20 mile loop from the visitor center to Hermit's Rest. It's an amazing way to see the canyon at your own pace and Gwynn some activity too. We did not have a reservation, but we were able to walk up and get 4 pedal assist bikes. The rental center opens at 8 am, but they are fitting ppl for their tour from 8-8:30. Make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you can get the bike you want!

Yelp
We came for the cafe before spending the day at the canyon. Great options, good coffee with variety, and great grab and go food/snacks. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
