Excellent Stay! Dear Kat, Paul, Roxy, and Reef, Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful lodge — you truly made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was divine, and Kat’s hospitality was outstanding! The location is ideal for travelers visiting Yoho and Banff National Parks, including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Kat ensured we had everything we needed for our hikes and even booked our shuttle tickets to Lake Louise. Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights at this B&B run by Kat and Paul. Very enjoyable experience as the owners are thoughtful for all their guests and provided lots of help and tips for our vacation. Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious. If you do not want to pay $300-$400 per night at Canmore or at other popular locations and do not mind drive 1 hour to 1.5 hours back to Banff . This is a real hidden gem for your next visit to Banff.

The accommodation was very clean and beautiful, consisting of private en suite bedroom and communal relaxation area, garden and hot tub. We slept really well - there was no noise and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was included, with eggs cooked fresh to order and an assortment of fresh berries, fruit, yogurt, cereal and muffins.|The owner, Kat was so lovely and friendly, giving us lots of local advice and recommendations.|We really enjoyed our stay - a very special place indeed, thank you so much 😊

Fantastic spot for enjoying all that Golden, BC has to offer! Downtown is just a quick drive away with plenty of great shops and restaurants, and our room couldn’t have been more comfortable. Kat and her family go above and beyond to make the space warm and welcoming—we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Kudos to Kat and family for a wonderful experience! We enjoyed an exceptionally clean, well stocked apt and Kats attention to detail is impressive. Kat was generous with advice on local restaurants and coffee shops. When returning to the area we will stay here again!

We stayed two nights at this lodge with my wife and it's been really a great experience.|The owner Kat is super friendly and helpful and does the extra mile to support her customers. The lodge rooms are located at the lower floor of the owners' house, superclean and perfectly equipped.|Breakfast is fabolous and also a great opportunity to meet with other travellers coming from all over the world.|Definitely recommended!

There should be the possibility to give 6 Stars once a year for places that stand out in an exceptional way. So is this family run lodge. They say you come as a stranger and you leave as a friend and that is nowhere more true than here. The Breakfast is plenty and daily made with love. The owners have very detailed knowledge of golden and the area up to Banff / Revelstoke / Kamloops and share there wisdom if you want. If you go there, ask about Boo the Bear ;) Anyway: as someone who was always a little hesitant to book a B&B I have been honestly sad to leave the place for Banff. So yeah. 6 out of 5 Stars.

It is a fantastic accommodation with perfect hosts. We stayed there for a total of four nights. Every morning, breakfast included fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and every wish was anticipated before we even said it. The ski resorts Revelstoke, Lake Louise, and Kicking Horse were easily accessible by car. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
