Lovely friendly helpful staff. Great room built into the rocks, a little dark for reading at night but on the whole not a major problem. Nice outside space to sit and watch the birdlife. Trip with Loud to the canyon was memorable

Canyon lodge is one of the best lodges we have ever stayed in, and we have been to a few. The place looks like Hobiton, with little cabins scattered between rocks and resounded by trees and lawns. The cabins are well equipped and very comfortable, the staff is as friendly as can be and the food is great. The location, just at the gate of the park is a great bonus. Highly recommended!!!!

In the middle of nowhere. What a surprise this place is. Great atmosphere, very quaint decor, and a welcome stop on the way to Fish River Canyon. The cheesecake here is super! And.... go to toilet and especially don't forget to look in the locker... :-)

Great rooms. So comfortable and stocked with all bathroom needs and warm blankets. The pool was clean and has lots of chairs around it to lounge. The bar/restaurant was great. Good vibes and decent food. Staff also was attentive and helpful.

Canyon Roadhouse & Camping is located in the Gondwana Canyon Park 20 kilometres from Fish River Canyon viewpoint. The B&B offers 24 rooms, pool, restaurant & bar, and a campsite with 14 spots away from the road. The restaurant is a museum of 19-fifties cars and paraphernalia. We opted for camping. Outfit and layout provide a nice on-the-road atmosphere. Service is friendly. We had a site with barbecue facility & lighting. All was clean. Canyon Roadhouse is a good place, and a fine choice for 1 or 2 nights. Recommended.

Canyon Roadhouse is full of personality—think car wrecks turned décor, both inside and out, with a fun, roadhouse theme that’s surprisingly welcoming.||||Our room was compact but nicely decorated, with thoughtful touches like high-quality bathroom products and a plunger with excellent ground coffee (a rare treat!). One downside: there’s no fridge in the room, so keeping water cold in the desert heat was a bit of a challenge.||||The restaurant was decent, and we especially enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air. The breakfast buffet had a modest selection, but the cooked-to-order omelette was honestly one of the best we’ve had—perfectly done!||||All in all, a fun and comfortable stopover with unique flair and warm hospitality. Definitely worth a stay if you’re exploring the Fish River Canyon area!

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with Canyon Roadhouse this time. We have fond memories of visiting and camping there in 2017. This time around, there was a visible decline in the care staff took of the place. The bin in both male and female bathrooms in the restaurant was overflowingly full for many hours. The service at the restaurant was very, very slow. The main ablution facility was only cleaned once in the morning despite the campsite being quite full. From an outsiders perspective, it seems as if some staff members have stopped caring. This is not the level of quality or type of experience we expect from a Gondwana establishment. The food was good though.

If you're ever on your way to the majestic Fish River Canyon, then by ANY and ALL means don't skip this amazing PLACE! This is really the definition of service with a smile and the food is finger licking good 😋. Rose and Tupa, you guys are amazing 👏🏽 🤩. Also witnessed a hands on manager by the name of Chris 💪🏽. Definitely a Namibian experience you need. Thanks Roadhouse Canyon 🔥 🫡
