We stayed two nights at Canyon Vista Lodge B and B in Springdale, just outside of Zion National Park. The lodge offers four rooms for guests; two up and two down. We had one of the downstairs rooms. It came equipped with a small refrigerator/freezer, sink, cupboards with dishes and cutlery, microwave and coffeepot. The bathroom was fully stocked. The room was tasteful, large, comfortable and clean. The grounds were very nice offering ample places to sit and enjoy the Zion scenery. A fire pit had adirondak chairs situated next to the river. We watched a buck enjoying the apples from the apple trees that dotted the property. There is a nice outdoor hot tub that my spouse especially enjoyed. The lodge is on the bike path that goes into Springdale itself and right to the park. You can also take the town shuttle from the lodge to the park and pick up the park shuttle. We chose to drive into town for our meals. The B and B offers a breakfast coupon for a small price that can be used at one of 2 restaurants in town. We tried both places and would recommend you go to Oscars for just a tad better breakfast meal. This was a great choice for couples that want a home away from home while they explore Zion. Note that to get to the back property from the second floor you would need to take stairs or walk down the driveway.

We were pleasantly surprised because the room was even more accommodating and lovely than we had hoped for. It was so nice to have the small kitchenette. The Springdale bus stop closest is a five minute walk from the lodge and the bus runs very frequently so getting around town and to the park was easy. The breakfasts at Oscar's Cafe for which we used the vouchers were huge (actually, we would get up early and eat the "breakfast" for lunch at 11 or 11:30 after our hikes), delicious and filling.

We had a wonderful stay here! Very clean; modern yet charming. Very spacious and felt more like home vs hotel. My family (kids 9 & 13 + adults) all voted this best place we’ve ever booked. The owner is on site, extremely kind and welcoming. |Breakfast options were perfect. |Location is great - a bit away from the busy downtown, yet extremely easy access to Zion, village of Springdale. Quiet and convenient! |We wouldn’t change anything - LOVED this one!!

This place was fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortably fit our family. When I booked, I didn’t realize there was a second bedroom tucked away in the back of the room which made the stay even more comfortable for our family. The hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking. Make sure you include the breakfast vouchers as part of your stay. It was a fantastic bargain for some excellent food!

It's a very large room, quite comfortable. Other than an occasional very loud vehicle, the room was very quiet. The host thought of everything I needed and I didn't need anything else. Was very close to stop #9 which is very convenient. Would stay here again!

This is such a find! Right on the shuttle line into Zion National Park, but far from the commercial section of Springdale. This is a place that can be quiet and contemplative, sitting by the stream or just relaxing in the beautifully appointed rooms. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay! Would recommend to everyone. The property was gorgeous, nice and quiet after the very busy town. The host was very accommodating and kind! Hot tub was a wonderful add on after our long hikes.

Google
A great spot on the edge of town. The room was comfy. They have vouchers for $5 breakfast at Oscars. (excellent food). They do have a hot tub that I did not see mentioned on the website, but is usable by guest. A nice private entrance to your room and a nice backyard to relax in the evening.

Yelp
I have never stayed here...but sure wanted to - and still want to. So how can I rate it five stars? Because of JoNell's exceptional and friendly customer service. If my phone experience is any indication, and I'm willing to bet it is, Canyon Vista is a 5-star operation all the way around. I had a trip planned in May with my brother from Chicago and a sister from Wisconsin. We decided to cancel due to the future uncertainty of the Coronavirus Pandemic. We also had an AirBnb in Moab booked for three nights. Whereas the AirBnb host has, to date, been rather crusty and unyielding in his strict cancellation policy, Canyon Vista has been the exact opposite. JoNell communicated warmly and demonstrated complete and immediate understanding. She agreed to reimburse us for the two rooms we had reserved without making me go through hoops or through any unpleasantness whatsoever. The manner in which JoNell handled this cancellation, during such a stressful and difficult time for all of us, shows that she is a bonafide caring person. And a caring person is going to operate a place of business in a caring and thoughtful way. I can't wait for the pandemic to be long gone and for my siblings and I to reschedule this trip. I really want to meet JoNell (and I think you should to); plus, her place truly sounds lovely!

Yelp
Had a great stay here in 2011. Pluses: 1) A breathtaking backyard where you can sit in and watch the majestic Zion peaks forever. 2) Very close to the national park - just about a mile from the entrance. 3) The owner is super sweet and eager to give us tips. 4) Free coupons to yummy breakfast places around. 5) Very comfortable stay.

Yelp
Our room was beautiful, clean and inviting. We were just about a mile from the entrance to Zion park, and a few blocks away from restaurants, shops and art galleries. There are lots of great places to eat and the B & B gives guests breakfast vouchers to two of the best restaurants in town. Thanks JoNell and Alan for making our first vacation to Utah comfortable and relaxing, it truly felt like our home away from home!

Yelp
Quaint Bed and Breakfast right on the outskirts of town on the last stop for the Springdale Shuttle. The backyard has a wonderful green grass view of the river. The rooms and very clean and well done, and the owner JoNelle( I think that's how you spell it) was very sweet and informative about Zion and good places to eat. Needless to say we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Canyon Vista Lodge was fantastic! JoNell was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The location is great also (just a few minutes from Zion NP entrance, just far enough out of town to avoid the crowds but not too far). We loved sitting by the river after a long day of hiking. Four years ago I stayed at a different B&B near Zion (in Rockville) and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a B&B, hotel, or even campground. This time it was the polar opposite! Thanks for helping make our vacation so wonderful!

Yelp
Very comfortable and spacious digs. Large suite with comfortable king bed, separate TV room with fridge, large tub and separate shower stall in bathroom. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Very comfortable and spacious room with VERY comfortable bed. Lovely back yard with lawn chairs looking over Creek and mountains. We were expecting a bed AND breakfast on site but were given vouchers to go to one of two local restaurants chosen by the hosts. We missed the local homemade breakfast and social aspect of trading recommendations and stories. If you want a great place to sleep, this is it. If you are looking for a true B&B, you might want to consider an alternative.
