This hostel is converted from a second hand bookstore. The interiors are amazing. Parts of the building look like a library. Other parts look like a private library mixed with beds. ||Check in was relatively simple and the staff went through the procedure of describing the hostel and all the facilities. There are two types of beds. One is a private dorm with fewer beds and the other in open space. I stayed in one of the smaller dorms but I wish I stayed in open space because it looked so much more awesome. The beds were arranged capsule style with a privacy curtain at the end of the bed. There was a private light, an electrical point and a USB port. The mattress was firm asian style, but comfortable. ||Each floor had separate boys and girls bathrooms. I was on the second floor. The bathroom there had three toilets and three shower cubicles. The toilets had Japanese style automated geysers. The bathrooms were super clean throughout my stay as were the grounds of the hostel.||The reception was on the ground floor, where there was also a common area designed to look like a library. This was a super cool area to sit.||Overall, I had a super stay. The staff are nice and friendly who are ready to help with anything. The location is close to all the main attractions in the city and about a 20 minutes walk to Tainan Station, although there’s buses that stop close by from the station anyway.
