In recent months, this individual who owns a 4x4 truck that she cannot drive has been unlawfully parking over the shared median, repeatedly encroaching on my space and, on multiple occasions, making contact with my vehicle. While I don’t have dash cam footage of the incidents, I do have several photos and emails documenting the damage and her improper parking.
In an effort to de-escalate the situation and visually indicate the correct boundaries, I placed bright orange safety cones on the median. She removed them without permission. When I calmly confronted her about taking my property and reminded her about the parking boundaries, she became argumentative and defensive, insisting she wasn't doing anything wrong. She then made a comment implying she "wasn't afraid of me," although I never threatened her in any way.
During the exchange, she began yelling, and when a neighbor came outside, she suddenly began to cry, falsely implying that I had intimidated or attacked her she called police like the”Karen” she is. I want to be very clear: our interaction was verbal only. At no point did I approach her physically, threaten her, or act aggressively. She, however, was the aggressor.
This behavior removing personal property, causing vehicle damage, and attempting to manipulate a situation to portray herself as a victim is unacceptable and disturbing. I’ve contacted the appropriate authorities and will continue to document all interactions moving forward.
I respectfully ask that the HOA take appropriate action to enforce the rules, communicate clearly with the tenant, and help prevent further escalation they found me a new parking space.
