First thing I have to say: incredibly well marked with signs. We drove in, worried about a nightmare of finding it, but our first roundabout in, there were already signs for it, and it seemed no matter which direction we approached the city from, there were always signs. Great location, you could walk to restaurants/ bars/ shopping places, and the beach was only a block down. When eating in the area (the whole island was probably like this), plan your meals for 12:00 - 15:00 and dinner 19:00 till midnight. We kept missing these windows and so had a lot of french fries for meals. The breakfast was only bread and butter/ jam. One awesome thing: the sheets smelled SO nice, you could really tell they were clean, and I'm a germaphobe, so was delighted at this. Rooms were simple, AC worked. Wifi worked too, but a bit slow. We like watching TV shows online, and had to leave them loading all day to watch them at night. But for emails and things, it was fine. Staff was friendly, patient with us when we struggled with our French. There was only a few parking spots, but they always were free until our last night, but then there was free parking on the street out front, and a lot of those spots, so parking was not a problem.||||Tip: if you walk out to the waterfront from the hotel and take a right, a little ways down is a small snack bar called Le Spot. They have chairs overlooking the water, and every night we went down there for snacks and cheap beer. Highly recommended. The guy behind the bar was SO incredibly friendly, a really nice guy. One afternoon we saw whales too, and on the weekends there is a rainbow of kite surfers doing their jumps and stuff, which was incredibly fun and mesmerizing to watch. If you do go by, and meet Teddy, tell him the American stargazers say hi!
