Cape Agulhas Backpackers

Annie and Stephanie are truly amazing. We had a room but the shared bathroom and toilet was immaculate and clean. Our room had a double bed with a double bunk and it was spotless. The vibe is really cool and there was enough parking space. Everything was explained to us and my "first" backpacking experience was truly memorable and I really impressed with the staff and everything this gem had to offer.

This hostel was great! Annie was so welcoming right off the bat! The rooms were nice, beds were comfy and the hostel itself is in a great location. They have parking on site which is so lovely have the car so close and accessible especially since there’s only one floor — and it’s gated in which gives some peace of mind as well. The common space is super lovely indoors with a nice seating area, a pool table, a bar, and a massive fireplace. Great for interacting and/or getting some work done, of which I did both! Also the showers had excellent water pressure and were hot which is always a big plus. Overall a really great spot to spend a night or a few nights!

Thanks to Annie and team, service and food excellent. Andre you are a true braai master braaing for all of us. Breakfast was great on time as said. Unfortunately did not get any of the Breakfast teams name. But we'll done. See you on our next adventure motorcycle trip.

One of the best hostels I have ever been. It has 2 very confortable kitchens. Nice pool. Very very kindly people who work there. I’ll recomend everybody!!!

What a gem of an oasis in Struisbaai - very relaxed vibe but the entire property is also kept spick & span, in particular the courtyard swimming pool. Stefanie (spelling?) is an amazingly friendly and accommodating host, and she’s clearly very dedicated to maintaining a high standard. Would not hesitate to stay here whilst in Struisbaai.

10/10 Would stay again! Erin and her staff were so friendly and inviting. This place was great for a solo traveller, but there were also many families and groups there. The backpacker is ~ 4 minutes walking to the beach, and the area is very safe! It isn't a fancy place, but if you want fancy, go back to Cape Town.

Absolutely great value for money in a tourist town that is not cheap.

We were a group of ten ranging from 8 to 66 years. The hippy in me wanted to stay here forever but gypsy blood also runs through my veins and the call of the road and travel is strong. It won't be my last visit.
