Cape Byron Distillery

We visited here a few weeks ago and had such a great time! We did both the gin tasting and the whiskey tasting, and really enjoyed them. We also tried a few cocktails, all super tasty. We wandered around the distillery as well, and every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. The whole place is fully accessible, which was awesome. The deck overlooks the Byron Bay hinterland and the view is incredible. Definitely worth checking out highly recommend!.

We loved the Rainforest & Gin Tasting tour! Our guide, Babs was very welcoming & knowledgeable. As a big fan of Brookfarm products for years it was an added bonus to finally have an opportunity to be on the grounds & learn about how it all started. Brookie’s gin was superb! Highly recommend.

Fab afternoon on our rainforest distillery tour with Babs. Super cool to hear about the history of the land. Hard to pick a favourite gin. Would absolutely visit again.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The gin is great. The property and story are awesome. Give yourself the time and do the tour, learn about this place. You will not regret it. This is such a gem! Make this place blow up so they can ship to Texas!

A wonderful and educational experience. Our group of four loved the walk through the rainforest with our cold gin and tonics. Our guide was fab - very knowledgeable and engaging. The gins are delicious and the cocktails such a great way to end the experience.

We stopped by Cape Byron Distillery on our way along Byron and had an incredible time! We did both the whisky and gin tastings, and while both were excellent, we personally enjoyed the gin tasting a bit more. The whole experience was outstanding — the scenery is stunning, and the staff were extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and offered detailed explanations throughout. Both tastings were unique and memorable, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the craft. Highly recommended!

Our trip to Cape Byron Distillery was an absolute dream. Beautiful scenery, secluded, and the best customer service (as well as the most amazing whisky). Ramae was incredible- he took the time to explain the ins and outs of each tasting and shared the history of the distillery. We so appreciated the knowledge and hospitality- could have stayed and visited for days! Ramae also shared the details on the local koalas. We’ve lived in AUS for three years now and had never seen a koala in the wild until today! Definitely coming back. Some of the best whisky and views we’ve had 🥃

Great whisky tour! Great gin tour! Awesome spirits! Great day out with awesome views. Even got to fill my own whisky!
