Fab afternoon on our rainforest distillery tour with Babs. Super cool to hear about the history of the land. Hard to pick a favourite gin. Would absolutely visit again.

We loved the Rainforest & Gin Tasting tour! Our guide, Babs was very welcoming & knowledgeable. As a big fan of Brookfarm products for years it was an added bonus to finally have an opportunity to be on the grounds & learn about how it all started. Brookie’s gin was superb! Highly recommend.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The gin is great. The property and story are awesome. Give yourself the time and do the tour, learn about this place. You will not regret it. This is such a gem! Make this place blow up so they can ship to Texas!

We had a wonderful visit to Cape Byron Distillery, being lucky enough to be the only guests for a tour of the rainforest and distillery grounds. Even still, our enthusiastic and friendly guide Eve gave us her full attention and toured us through the grounds while we enjoyed our welcome drinks. Seeing the before and after photos of the property gave a sense of awe to the hard work and conservation the Brook family has put into the property. The grounds are lush with a variety of flora, many of which Eve helped us identify, enjoyed their natural fragrances and explained their incorporation into the distillery process. The easy pace of the tour was welcomed in appreciating the quiet surroundings. After the grounds tour we were given more explanation as to the distillation process and then a tasting of their most popular gins and liqueurs, all of which had unique aromas and rich flavours. We loved them all and gladly took home a couple of bottles (you will get a discount too!). Such a beautiful venue staff being tucked away amongst the valleys of the Northern Rivers makes Cape Byron Distillery a real hidden gem but one well worth a visit. A big thank you our guide Eve and all the staff for being so welcoming.

A wonderful and educational experience. Our group of four loved the walk through the rainforest with our cold gin and tonics. Our guide was fab - very knowledgeable and engaging. The gins are delicious and the cocktails such a great way to end the experience.

We stopped by Cape Byron Distillery on our way along Byron and had an incredible time! We did both the whisky and gin tastings, and while both were excellent, we personally enjoyed the gin tasting a bit more. The whole experience was outstanding — the scenery is stunning, and the staff were extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and offered detailed explanations throughout. Both tastings were unique and memorable, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the craft. Highly recommended!

Our trip to Cape Byron Distillery was an absolute dream. Beautiful scenery, secluded, and the best customer service (as well as the most amazing whisky). Ramae was incredible- he took the time to explain the ins and outs of each tasting and shared the history of the distillery. We so appreciated the knowledge and hospitality- could have stayed and visited for days! Ramae also shared the details on the local koalas. We’ve lived in AUS for three years now and had never seen a koala in the wild until today! Definitely coming back. Some of the best whisky and views we’ve had 🥃

We sat down for an afternoon beverage at this lovely location. The table was on the balcony and surrounded by lovely rainforest. It was warm summers day and although there was no breeze on the balcony, the temperature was delightful. We purchased an assortment of cocktails, as well as the gin flight. Everybody was thrilled with their drinks. We also created a little cheese platter from local procure available to purchase on site. A splendid afternoon enjoyed by all. Percy Python didn’t slither in to join us. thankfully 😅
