Cape Elegance in Bryanston

I stayed for a week in this gem of a friendly and very comfortable bed and breakfast. Gene and Denyse manage this jewel on a very personal level to ensure that each and every guest are treated to the highest standards. The rooms are very well appointed, nothing I could think of was missing, the gardens are fantastic and so well designed, and cared for by Richard, including a vast array of birdlife. The pool is welcome on a hot day as are the lilos and peaceful surroundings. To cap it all off, Gene’s persuasion for guests to have one of his special breakfasts is inspiring, but be warned, also very filling, being expertly prepared by Mary in the kitchen ( a super start to the day). The last thing to say is that this gem is great value for money, and for sure I will be coming back to stay again. Thanks to all for such an enjoyable time!

We have stayed here six times in the last three years, and would not go anywhere else. The rooms are clean, spacious, all with en suites, and the gardens and pool are beautiful. Breakfast at the large dining table is excellent, and Denyse and Gene create a warm home-from-home. The surrounding area is secure, and close to Sandton Clinic and good restaurants. shops, etc.

We have stayed at Cape Elegance several times and have never been disappointed. Denyse and Gene are always welcoming and are supported by a wonderful staff who keep the rooms and garden in great shape. The location in Mill Hill is quiet and secure and within easy reach of anywhere in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. We always enjoy the option of picking up a meal at Woolworths or similar and enjoying it at one of the tables set out in the garden. Be careful of Gene's "upselling" of breakfast - you may end up eating more than you intended but you will enjoy every mouthful!

I have been staying here for 17 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Hosts Gene and Denyse make you feel at home, excellent breakfast where you will undoubtedly meet very interesting fellow guests, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beautiful garden to relax in and decent swimming pool. Location is close to many restaurants.

Lovely, secure place to stay...peaceful and quiet. Very warm, friendly, personal service. Gene, Denyse and Oscar made it a special comfortable, home away from home stay.||Wonderful to wake up every morning with bird sounds.||The garden is beautiful and the atmosfere is homely.||The entrance of every room is private; love it!||Room is spacious with free Wi-Fi, a must when travelling with teenagers.||Shops, malls and restaurants are all nearby.||Will definitely go back again and again and again.

We have stayed here many times as we come from the UK to visit our mom. Gene and Denyse are amazing hosts - nothing is too much trouble for them! Lovely breakfast too.||The garden is a dream - making this a home from home for anyone.||I highly recommend Cape Elegance.

This is a gorgeous place. The rooms are large comfortably furnished and clean. The neighbourhood is beautiful, safe and quiet. The breakfasts are delicious and filling.The pool is always clean.Had an amazing time in this little gem!

Beautiful, tranquil and serene in all aspects. The accommodation is equal to the manicured surrounds.....flawless!||Then you have Jack, the spaniel, watch those heels, he only wants attention - he too is manicured to perfection.||Seldom will you find a venue with such precision. ||You would swear it was German engineering... Bravo!||
