Cape Finest Guesthouse & Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterkant Guesthouse. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location felt both excellent and safe. Parking was also very convenient. The only downside was that the bathroom had a glass door and was open at the top, which offered little privacy. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay!

I find this the perfect location to explore CT, this is our second visit and we will be back as it is close to SeaPoint, the V&A, Town, Gardens and the highway if you want to get to the Southern suburbs or the winelands. The rooms are tiny but if you make use of all the storage options, including drawers under the beds you can manage. We love the communal lounge, dining and kitchen area. It was wonderful to be able to walk to breakfast at the Charles where the food was brilliant. The area is quaint with some interesting shops Restuarants are within walking distance. Another plus is the secure parking - a rare benefit in the area. Will and Sam the staff are brilliant and very helpful

Cape Town was part of a Vegan "Four Country African Hop" and Cape Finest was our last stay. ||The venue is beautifully located in the Cape Quarter with the Conscious Kitchen down the road for amazing vegan meals. ||The Hotel has amazing rooms and the staff are super attentive.

Wonderful to return to this lovely hotel. A shame that the host Willy was only there briefly but the other staff were great. It’s a superb location, great views from the rooftop and an excellent breakfast.

The perfect choice for a solo traveler. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of De Waterkant, walking distance to great cafés, restaurants, and boutiques, yet tucked away enough to feel safe and peaceful. Beautifully designed very clean and spacious, light-filled, and very comfortable. The rooftop terrace and swimming pool at the sister property Dixon House was a highlight!!

Impeccably clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished establishment. Traveling in a group of 5 friends we thus had the entire house to ourselves although rooms can be rented individually and suitably secured. The entry level floor constitutes the common area - living room, well stocked kitchen and dining room. One floor down are two bedrooms and one floor up are three bedrooms. The surrounding area felt very safe and we walked to nearby restaurants at night. If we had any problems, the desk manager at the partner facility just a few steps along the street was available to troubleshoot. He frequently communicated with us to make sure all was well

We have stayed with Cape Finest before and it was memorable. These specific units at 31 Jarvis street need a bit more attention to meet the standard. Most painful is carrying a big bunch of keys around 4 locks. Location and service was excellent. Great little restaurant for breakfast.

Clean, comfortable rooms, and a warm welcome. Location perfect for business and pleasure. We shall book at Cape Finest again when visiting Cape Town.
