So we took a detour and decided to visit Cape Enrage. Tho we are locals, we have never been here before and had no idea there was a restaurant here.
We arrived just at the last sitting and tho we hadn't planned to eat there, it was highly recommended by a worker named Cindy. She assured us we would be very happy and told us they had a chef from Poland.
We chose the things that were recommended and we were not disappointed at all. We had Lobster poutine, which is nothing like the traditional NB poutines. It was fries, cheese curds under a white creamy cheese sauce and a secret salsa sauce drizzled over lots of fresh chopped lobster.
We also ordered the lobster croissant. It came with fries and a salad with a delicious unique sweet vinegar dressing. The croissant was flaky and buttery and so full of lobster you could hardly keep it together. There was enough dressing to be moist but not enough to overpower the lobster flavour. Again excellent!
The polish apple pie came highly recommended, so we tried that also. It was definitely different than our typical NB apple pie, but equally as delicious. The presentation was tops!!!
The server Kim, did an amazing job and was very kind to answer all our questions. Definitely a place to return to, and would love to bring friends here. It's been awhile since I dined at a restaurant that I came away completely satisfied in service, taste, quality, quantity!
