"Cape Royale Luxury Hotel & Spa There’s a touch of Old World glamour to the Cape Royale—the imposing facade, the dramatic lobby, the bellmen in top hats—but just when you start to wonder if the whole experience is going to be resolutely old-school, you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised by the sleek rooms. They feature contemporary furniture, granite and porcelain bathrooms, and a soothing palette of mostly grays and whites with the occasional punch of lime green or aqua blue. It’s also the site of six restaurants, cafes, and bars, each with its own theme, from Italian cuisine to healthy eating to Thai or Middle Eastern fare. The city’s best beaches and nightlife—not to mention Green Point's dazzling Cape Town Stadium, erected for the 2010 World Cup and now the site of many a mega-concert and local soccer match—are minutes away."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|My stay at Cape Royale 414 was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The location is honestly one of the best you could hope for in Cape Town — just moments from the V&A Waterfront, with everything you need right on your doorstep. There’s even a lovely coffee shop right next door, perfect for morning coffees or a quick bite before heading out for the day. It made the whole experience feel even more convenient and welcoming.||The security at the building was first-class. I was genuinely impressed by how safe and well-managed everything felt. The security guards were not just professional, but warm and friendly too. They greeted me with a smile every day and created such a positive atmosphere.||The apartment itself was a complete standout. It was spacious, beautifully kept, and incredibly well equipped — it honestly had everything you could ever need and more. You can feel the thought and care that has gone into making it comfortable for guests. It felt instantly like a home away from home, but with that extra touch of luxury.||One of the highlights for me was the rooftop pool. It’s a stunning space with a peaceful vibe and gorgeous views. Having the option to pop up for a refreshing dip whenever I felt like it added so much to the stay and made it feel extra special.||A massive thank you to Sibongile, who was such a lovely and welcoming host. She was warm, helpful, and made everything incredibly easy. Her hospitality really elevated the whole experience.||Cape Royale 414 exceeded every expectation. Perfect location, excellent security, a beautifully equipped apartment, a fantastic rooftop pool, and an amazing host — truly a flawless stay in every way. I would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.||❤️❤️❤️

Booking agent a nightmare!!!! A 5+day holiday and we had to use one towel per family member for the full stay and no access to a broom, so beach sand on floors was irritating. One key - making it impossible when I wanted to do something else with my youngest while my oldest went on hikes. Agent refused to take our calls and ignored all delivered messages. Staff were lovely, but could not help unless we got the go ahead from the booking agent. Eventually they did assist on our last day with a spare key, and used there key to give us asses to a broom in a locked cupboard in our room, but it was a mission and on the last day. The booking agent was a phantom, which would not have been a problem if they allowed their willing but not enabled staff to help with the basics. Pity - an agent can drag an experience down. On arrival there was such a lovely gesture of champagne and chocolate etc, that was special. When an agent is not available they should at the very least give a forwarding number. To make such and effort and not get the basics right is a pity.

I visited the Cape Royal Hotel on 24 December 2025 to enquire about a particular service. I was not a guest at the hotel, merely seeking information. Unfortunately, my interaction with one of the staff members was disappointing. While I was enquiring, the staff member chose to comment on and correct my language. I found this to be exceptionally rude and unnecessary. As a customer making an enquiry, my focus was on the service, not on receiving unsolicited language corrections. How I express myself is not relevant to the assistance being requested, and it is inappropriate for staff to encroach on matters unrelated to their role. I do not require English lessons, and I am more than capable of articulating myself. The expectation is simple: staff should focus on addressing customer enquiries professionally and respectfully, rather than diverting into personal or linguistic commentary. That said, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the security guard on duty, who was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. He ultimately assisted me with what I needed and demonstrated the level of service one would expect. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve customer interactions going forward.

The 3 of us booked a 2-bedroom apartment here for early October, 4 nights.|We'd arrived from the UK on a night flight, so got here around 09.30, 6+ hours before our due check-in time. Happily, the lobby team could not have been more helpful. They stored our cases and bags in their store room. Unemcumbered, we started enjoying this fabulous city, while our apartment was being cleaned and prepped for our sfternoon arrival.|A charming and helpful young lady showed us to our apartment - to the rear of the building on the 5th floor.|We were absolutely taken aback with the sheer size of the place; both bedrooms and bathrooms were huge, very well furnished, looked great and were spotless. Everything worked ok.|The main room/lounge/diner/kitchen area was simply stunning. Again - so spacious, well laid-out, furnished and decorated to perfection and so shiny clean. Wow! What a great start to our SA holiday.|The interior atrium walkways to the rooms are stunning.|Unfortunately the rooftop with pool was closed while we were there, for maintainance, but we had a full schedule, so no worries.|Located on Main Road in Green Park, there were several excellent nearby cafes and restaurants. Indian, burgers. Italian, steaks and more. We dined very hppily at Jason Bakery, Tiger's Milk, Ninety-One, Lievita Ialian restaurant, (5mins over the road, near outdoor sports courts and up the stairs), and last but definately not least, super-friendly Shift Espresdo Bar and Cafe, right by Cape Royale's entrance. Perfect for the weary traveller!|Also, there's a superb Woolworth 1min away. Think top-quality small Waitrose. Incredible choice of fruit, veg, most foods, drinks, wines etc. (No beer though.) So handy.|I must mention the lobby staff. Whenever they saw us about to wait for a taxi or Uber, they walked outside and kept us company / added a bit of security. A nice touch. We always felt safe in Green Park though.|After 4 nghts we left Cape Town for safari, returning to the same building for a second stay, albeit in a different apartment, to the front of the building on the 6th floor.|Again, it was so modern, well-appointed, very clean. But much smaller than our 1st stay. More expensive too. Also, traffic noise kept those of us in one bedroom awake at night. We reportrd this and the windows were quickly improved/adjusted. Still noisy though.| The view was much nicer though. Overall we preferred our 1st stay's apartment, but really, both were excellent, we were happy in both.|The rooftop was open durng our 2nd stay, and while part of it is a bit tatty, it's a great place to take and enjoy a drink while taking in the stunning views.|So while Cape Royale's not perfect, it's a grest place to stay. We thought highly of the 2 apartments we stsyed in, we were well-placed for reasonably-priced eateries, it was less expensive to stay at than V&A apartments, huge and friendly lobby...and would definately stay here again.

There was a constant noise coming from bedroom side, starting from 7.30 AM. There is a construction area for your information, doesnt seem to finish at least 3-4 months. Also first day we could not check in untill after 5 PM because of the cleaning, but on the day of checkout someone came to door knocking at 10.01. That is rude. Before we arrive i asked to checkin a little bit earlier than written but house owner didnt even reply, but during stay he texted via booking.com as if he cares. All copy paste. Note that this is a airbnb not a hotel. Not enought amenities. Everything is old and damaged, needs upgrade and at bathroom there are loads of molds. Room 616.

The location is superb! But the staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. We waited to be checked in and Bonnie arrived, very rude and unfriendly as if doing us a favour by showing us our apartment. The security guards are entitled and arrogant. The staff stood around on their phones the whole time. Although the location is fantastic, we won't be back
