Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort

This was our second trip to Cape Santa Maria Resort. The resort has a new general manager with an impressive resume from other Bahamian properties. He is wonderful! The resort is the same as our previous stay - perfect perfection! The property is remotely located on the protected north end of Long Island and is a bit challenging to reach but certainly do-able and quite worth the effort. The photos and other reviews accurately describe the resort, so additional comments aren't necessary. We plan on coming back often.

Our family trip was filled with fun and great experiences at the Cape. Beautiful villas well equipped with all we needed, softest sand, and being right on the beach made for a perfect trip. The kindness and friendliness shown by all the staff (including front desk, housekeeping, servers, and groundskeepers) made us all feel welcomed and at home. Top notch experience for our group of 14.

Lovely resort. However the restaurant was terrible. The staff are exceptionally rude. Quality of the food is subpar. If you're considering an inclusive package, I would think again. By far the worst food we've had while trying the islands for the last month. Our experience certainly does align with the high-end resort they market.

I have already come back and will again and again. The second time I came here, after being gone for 3 nights, I felt I came home! Lovely staff, grounds, accommodations, food, drinks. And the beach is one of most gorgeous ever. Love the cabanas, too. Highest praise.

This resort had a boutique feel along with amazing food and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. ||The bungalows were clean and we loved the screened in porch and gazebo’s to lay under in the afternoon shade. ||we had a small wedding and the staff went above and beyond to create a special day for us.

Great experience. Wonderful people. Wonderful service. Zero complaints. What a great location. Water sports were great. Staff helped with whatever we wanted or needed. Love this place

The dining experience was the worst we've had in the family islands. We found the staff to be rude, unorganized and not properly trained for dining service. Adding to the poor experience the food was terrible, cocktails were mediocre, given they were made by a rude bartender, not surprised. Do to the inefficiency of the staff we only ordered an appetizer which we had to eat off napkins as we were denied individual plates..

My wife and I stayed in a bungalow for 3 nights. Cape Santa Maria resort is located on a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bungalow had a screened porch which allowed us to enjoy some beautiful sunsets. The room was equipped with good AC to help us adjust to the tropical weather. We spent many hours walking the beach, swimming, paddle boarding, and exploring beautiful Long Island. I will definitely recommend the resort to friends and family
