Staying at the Resort again reminded me of just how much I love this spot - it felt like coming home. We booked Sunset villa for just under a week and while it was a mini break we both had to work too - having really great internet made this stress free (hooray and thank you!) Being able to take a lunchbreak and head to the beach with my two dogs was just brilliant. The beach during the week is pretty quiet and so beautiful - one of my favourite beaches on the South African coast for sure. The villa itself is really well equipped for up to 8 guests with a huge oven (great for entertaining) plus large fridge and a spacious under cover/sheltered BBQ area or as we call it a BRAAI. With a fenced garden it also means dogs or young kids can run freely - lots of play area. Sadly the weather played four seasons so we didn't get to use the pool this time round (but did on our previous visit) nicely private and the ideal spot to take a midday dip when temperatures rise. The Housecleaning crew were lovely, coming in daily to check on us and clean up as needed - they do a fantastic job - the villa was neat and tidy. For us with a dishwasher in the villa this wasn't really needed though but a nice to have. In terms of service the entire staff were an absolute delight from the gardeners to housekeeping, front of house to restaurant staff. We did eat at both Joe Fish (great calamari/fish and chips and wide range on the menu!) as well as Full Stop which is right across the road and a great spot for a quick pizza or burger - a more laid back vibe. The food at both spots were large portions and well priced plus a very quick service (with a smile). We also enjoyed a great lunch at Nevermind Restaurant at the Light house which is a great add on if you prefer eating out and not self catering.|Because we wanted to take our two small dogs along - we did book a larger villa but I still think its a great value for money; steps from the beach - who could ask for more! We love that they have accommodation types to fit all our needs - on a previous visit it was a flying stop for 2 nights so we chose club break (no dogs on that visit) plus they have Beach Break for those super special occasions. My favourite spot though is the rooftop deck facing the lighthouse - sipping a G&T at sunset with the beach stretching towards the lighthouse and point - utter, utter bliss. CSFR staff - your fans will return again soon - and we cant wait!

We stayed 1 night in a self catering chalet. Clean but dated and you could hear everything your neighbours were doing! Toilet ran all night despite maintenance and there were no blackouts so sun streamed in through internal bathroom window. There was a function on so only Joes restaurant open. Several people in our group didnt get the food they ordered and one of our meals was inedible - apparently this is what we should expect in South Africa according to the manager! Breakfast OK. Beach loverly but not suitable for swimming due to currents and surf. Cannot recommend.

We spent our anniversary at Cape St. Francis Resort and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and exceptional service. Our accommodation was spotless with most breathtaking views of the ocean and such thoughtful touches from Lindt chocolate on the bed and a bottle of wine waiting for us – such a wonderful surprise that made our stay feel extra special.
Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean created the most romantic setting. The restaurant Joe Fish and facilities were excellent, and every detail was taken care of. I would highly recommend the local Calamari! This was the perfect place to celebrate — we can’t wait to return!

Stayed in an upstairs unit, self catering , fully functional amenities. Unit was clean and spacious enough. The only thing that put us off completely was the noise levels and inconsiderate guests. Unfortunately they host functions on weekends which carry on late into the evenings and on Sundays host a live music band for the whole afternoon. If you want peace and quiet don't come here as it's always noisy on weekends. There are 2 restaurants which offer good food but if you are self catering stock up before arriving as the small café offers bare essentials. Sadly If you want to catch up on TV time the actual TV was fit for the trash as it was dismal and the options for channel selection even worse. If you want to relax in the evening bring your own entertainment. In summary if you are a couple looking for a tranquil time stay away from here, as a family with kids it's great.|There is parking within the grounds close to your unit but can become congested at times.

Beautiful and cozy spot with the freshest ocean breeze greeting you the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious (though mine didn’t have air conditioning. It’s worth checking if that’s the case for all). Dinner was absolutely divine, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
The town is clean, quiet, peaceful, and simply breathtaking. A true escape.

Wow what amazing place. It was like a Mediterranean island in the middle of the Eastern Cape. A short 1 hour drive and we felt like we left the country. Beautiful well taken care of and clean facilities. Our unit even had a splash pool outside by the braai area and patio. Walking distance to the beach and an amazing Restaurant with great food and staff. Reception is such a pleasure to deal with and even a great little shop with all the last minute goodies that you might need. A must visit for anyone. We are sorry we did not stay longer. Definitely will be back.

The location is just amazing. The area is beautiful. The resort is on the beach . The beach is clean. The room we stayed in was very disapointing the curtains didn't have the lining so we had to keep the top curtain closed . The room was on the ground floor and the lighting was really bad. The pictures advertised was very different. The bath had a big open shower which was not very pleasant. The towels on the first night was old ... The second day it was better. . The service was nice the manager and service staff was really helpful.
