I usually write a lot of reviews – and most of them are positive. You can see that clearly on my profile. But in this case, I feel absolutely forced to leave a 1-star review.
Instead of showing even a minimum of trust or understanding, the campground chose to review their security cameras to “check” whether what I said was true – even timing how many minutes I stood in line. That level of suspicion towards a paying customer is simply absurd.
The fact is: we would have had to set up our tent in the dark and rain, and for that situation there was absolutely no understanding. I paid for a service I did not receive (we never parked, never used any facilities) – yet they refused a refund.
What made it worse: I was accused of being disrespectful, even though I spoke clearly, politely and friendly. I even thanked them for their time and wished them a good day. When asked, they could not point to a single sentence where I had supposedly been rude.
This entire experience was disappointing and deeply unprofessional.
