Cape Tribulation Camping

Amazing campground. We were in the premium beach site and it was really lovely. Spacious, private site with own walkway to the beach. Sandbar restaurant makes incredible woodfire pizzas and they also do the yummiest chips ( which we had with a great chicken parmi on one of our nights). Amenities were very clean and modern.

Clean and tidy park with nice facilities. We had no booking and they were able to accommodate us at late notice. Toilets and showers were clean and a short walk to a beautiful beach.

We only stayed for one night, but the Premium Beachcamp powered site we had was truly in the rainforest!|Surrounded by trees, but with power and water. There is also a dump site on another part of the camp.|A very peaceful place to spend the night hearing the rain come down (it is a rainforest after all!)||Amenities were good and very clean.||The only niggle was that once it had rained all night the ground can have large puddles and get a bit boggy, but nothing that can't be dealt with. They seem to be laying some concrete slabs on the main driveways to try and alleviate this.||If you stay here you have to try the pizzas at The Sandbar. They are delicious!

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here at a powered beach front site under some nice rainforest canopy. Facilities are excellent, very clean, and sites are spacious and flat. Having an onsite bar and restaurant (The Sand Bar) that serves nice wood fired pizzas and burgers is a nice bit of luxury, can definitely see ourselves coming back here in future even with some non camping folks who can stay in the lovely onsite cabins.

We’ve stayed here two years in a row now and would happily keep returning. Excellent location, close to the board walks, food and tourist activities. We requested a specific site which was happily provided. Big, spacious sites to enjoy and set up comfortably. The park was mostly full whilst we were there but you could hardly tell. Tree swings and coconuts galore on the beach. We enjoyed pizza onsite and it was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful campsite in an amazing location right by the beach – perfect for lovely walks! The shared facilities are clean and well-equipped. The cabins are newly renovated and modernly furnished, which was a great bonus. I just missed having a toilet next to the outdoor showers. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly :)

The best campsite we’ve been to so far on our east coast travel. The toilets and showers are clean and the camp kitchen is big which we loved! The sand bar is a great addition - especially the wood fired pizza… yum! Location is perfect, right on the beach. Would definitely come back again :)

We camped in a powered site. Well kept camp ground. Amenities, grounds and camp kitchen well maintained and very clean. Staff do a great job. Huge cafe / bar are with massive TV, pool table & games. Definitely try the pizza at least once. We had it on our last night and it was fantastic. Great beach to walk along and can get to a couple of the local board walks not far away down the beach. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay and highly recommend.
