Pretty nice spot - big burgers, a wide range of beers and a nice brewery vibe. The buyers are enormous so bring your appetite, quite decent quality, and served up in a basket. It was a fun experience. I loved not having to wait in line for the Broadburger, hehe. The tap beer was delicious, and with so many varieties to choose from, I was having a hard time deciding. But the staff gave great recommendations, making it easy to pick. Plus, they allow dogs inside.

All the food here was really tasty and very fresh. I got the perri perri chicken, chicken wings with blue cheese, and chips. Others in our group got a variety of the beef and chicken burgers. All the food looks fresh and was very tasty. FYI - The baby size burgers are like a normal size burger and the normal size burger is quite big. Would definitely come back when I'm next in the area.

30/8/25 - 4.5 stars One of several breweries in Canberra, but, definitely a standout. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy. Lots of different drinks on offer, so, something for everyone. Only thing that fell short was the food which was fairly ordinary. The paddle is worth trying ~$20 and you get 4 small glasses. We tried most of the ones on tap. 1. Ginger beer: SS+, 9.5/10. - very dangerous. A bit sweet yet still spicy. Super smooth. Can't even tell it's alcoholic. 2. Blackberry lemonade: SS, 9/10. - close second and another dangerous but delicious drink 3. German lager: S, 8/10. - true to its description. This beer goes down so easily. Refreshing. 4. Rice lager: S, 8/10. - slightly more hoppy but still an easy drink 5. Lamington: B, 6/10. - a bit too sour for me

Great beers but !!!! You have to queue for service then the tablet reservation system needs a serious overhaul. It's no longer covid ,Capital ! Many customers forced to stand around ( or leave) While many tables reserved. Probably run by public servants

What a great experience to have on a Sunday afternoon with a couple of friends. Wasn't sure what to expect but was delighted once there. I loved the fact that you could grab a sample board of four beers, which is quite hard as they have quite a selection. There wasn't one beer that I didn't enjoy. Was also handy having a food van there with decent prices and delicious fries to ho along with my drinks. The place was packed to the rafters but service wasn't slow which impressed me. The atmosphere felt quite relaxing even though it felt as though there was a buzz in the air. Looking around and seeing the vats is very interesting. There's plenty on offer for everyone with facilities for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Seating available both inside and outside should you want to enjoy the day. Will definitely drop in for a drink the next time I come through.

If you’re looking for a place where beer and Burgers collide with a working brewery vibe, Capital Brewery and Brodburger is it. The Capital beer selection is big enough question your commitment skills… the paddle is a good place to start on your liquid personality test. Then the Brodburgers are absolute units of meaty comfort. Juicy, perfectly messy, and the side chips are practically a meal in itself. Pairing them with a cold Capital 'After dark' black pale ale should be a legally binding requirement.

I spent Australia Day weekend the best way I possibly could, in Australia's capital, Canberra. And being my first time here, this meant doing all the things, and what's not more coincidental than being at Capital Brewing, in Australia's capital on Australia Day? Try and beat that. As one can imagine, this brewery was packed. But they welcome the people by having heaps of seating, outside, inside, next to the food truck, and around the corner in a large hall. Finding a place to sit in and get comfy is not that difficult. We were in the mix of it all, it's in a huge warehouse with a really high ceiling. The bar is nice positioned, and staff are quick to pour you there latest brew. The food is by Brodburger. Their burgers are bomb, with a vegetarian one that will rock your socks. If you didn't think it before, burgers have a perfect pairing with, you guessed it, beer. Capital brewing knows exactly what they're doing with their good natured brews attitude.

A nice, relaxed, spacious, dog-friendly atmosphere, good beer and some solid food served out of a co-located Brodburger outlet. What's not to like?

Very likable, friendly spot to have a few. Plenty of choices. Resident burger spot good as well.
