Capital O 323 The Hulo Hotel Gallery

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping team, especially, Sayyad . did a great job every day. The reception staff Ms. Suzan was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Bad Experience! Problems encountered during our stay: 1. Dirty and untidy room upon check-in When we first entered the room, it was completely messy and dirty, which was unacceptable. 2. Replacement room also unclean We were given a new room, but it was also very dirty. The floor was sticky and dusty. I had to wipe it with a wet tissue, and the tissue turned brown. 3. Insufficient towels and poor service There was only one towel provided in the room. We requested an additional towel twice at the reception. Although we were told it would be sent to our room, we never received it. 4. Poor sound insulation The room had very poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear noise from the road and from outside the room, which made it difficult to rest.

Noisy, squeaking doors slamming shut at all hours, thin walls, sloooooow wifi, and ANTS ANTS ANTS everywhere (and I was on the 4th floor!). Also charged extra "tourist tax" upon arrival even though on-line bill "Includes all fees and taxes."

Kingston (Hulo) Hotel was a complete disappointment, filled with mismanagement, misleading information, and poor service. The hotel’s name is inconsistent—Hulo outside, Kingston inside—with no clear indication that it's Kingston Hotel 4, making online booking confusing. Upon arrival, my reservation was "missing," forcing me to rebook a smaller, cramped room that looked nothing like the advertised photos. The window lock was broken, no AC remote was provided, and staff refused to help until the next day. Instead of a key card, they give a password to unlock the door, making re-entry inconvenient and insecure. Room service was nonexistent—no fresh linens, no water, and cleaning was only done for new guests. The final straw was checkout, where they denied our deposit refund until we insisted on checking CCTV footage, proving their mistake. Overall, the hotel fails in hospitality, honesty, and basic service standards. If you expect cleanliness, professionalism, or even basic security, stay away.

Don't be fooled by the pictures shown here. It is outdated, the place is a mess. The common area is never clean, washer-dryer is broken and smelly, you can smell cigarette smoke from inside your room. The management is awful. No security and amenities at all. Beware!!!! Oh, one more thing, the electricity here is pre-paid. So they have control of the meter and they will finesse you. You will just keep loading and loading even if you are not using it.

Gorgeous concept hotel and great art though out. The rooms are luxe styled with great sliding doors and use of space. That being said there was construction happening next door early in the mornings, inconsistent room cleanings through our 5 day stay (we actually ran out of toilet paper because there was only half a roll when we checked in and no one cleaned out room on the next 2 days). Breakfast is really lacklustre AND there were ants in our bed every single day, ranging from 1-7 ants under our pillow and near our headboard. They were really small and truly didn't bother me too much but I wouldn't stay again. Visit the gallery but don't stay overnight.

Amazing aesthetics in a boutique hotel in the middle of the buzzling city. Starting from the lobby, it has a very artistic and creative feel. In fact, from what I could gather, everything that you see (paintings, sculptures etc) are for sale. Aspiring artists place their creations there to beautify the place and they get exposure. So the hotel somewhat doubles as an art gallery. The staff seemed very friendly. We used their event room to shoot a few videos and they were must cooperative. To our surprise they didn't charge us. The rooms are a bit small though. Otherwise, it looks well maintained. The only downside are the toilets in the lobby and common area. Otherwise for the price and location, it's a good place. Parking might me a challenge though and public transportation is a bit of a walk....
