The owners and staff at Rawisara provided the best service I have ever had at a hotel. They help travelers with local communication, transport, and guidance. They even went on a run with my husband and I to show us the best running routes near the hotel! |The food is consistently excellent and the rooms and pool are top notch. It’s far enough outside the busy city center for true relaxation and easy enough to grab a taxi into the city center when you want. |There’s a temple next door that provides a gentle waking bell in the morning and a real local Thai experience.

We stayed 3 nights here and we really enjoyed the place. Nice connected rooms. Very nice garden and swimming pool. It is completely lost in the middle of nowhere, therefore very difficult to find options for lunch or dinner out of the hotel. No lunch in the hotel and dinner is really expensive. The staff and management of the hotel is adorable !!! We have spent amazing moments with them and they really made a difference... sharing such moments with them has left a footprint in our holidays ! Thank you for this. I definitely recommend this hotel if you look for something quiet and authentic...

It takes a long time to get to Chiang Mai from San Diego, California. Before going on our trip, we talked to plenty of friends about where to go, things to do and travel tips. One of the things everyone failed to mention is that the standard Thai bed if not a mat on the floor, is a VERY hard, thin mattress. It was closer to what you might think of as the box spring... no joke. After four days on this typical bed in a hotel in the Old City, we were ready for a change. Chiang Mai is a very smoggy city with more traffic than I have ever seen. The traffic in Chiang Mai was worse than Los Angeles. We stayed in the Old City, which is where the majority of the wats (temples) are and much of the nightlife, markets and other things to see/do. As you can imagine, with traffic and attractions all in one area of town, this means it's also quite noisy. ||||We had very little itinerary so we could change things around if needed so we did. We found Rawisara which is just outside the center of the city in a quiet neighborhood next to a beautiful wat. The boutique hotel compound is a sanctuary of peacefulness. The sound of birds and fountains are all around you. They have small bungalows and a small inn to choose from with a quaint cafe. ||||The service from the staff was gracious and attentive. They were so kind and accommodating. Everyone was willing to help with anything we needed. They have a shuttle that goes to drop off guests in the city twice daily. If you needed a taxi, they could have one for you at your request. ||||BEST OF ALL --- THE BEDS. Soft, Luxurious, Thick mattresses. Oh how grateful we were to be able to have a great night's rest.||||One evening, our AC was not working so the next morning they moved us to a beautiful private bungalow that was the ultimate luxury upgrade. The bathroom was like a personal spa with a giant jacuzzi tub next to a giant single glass pane window that overlooked a water rock wall that was intended specifically for our relaxation. The giant steam and waterfall shower was so relaxing.||||The pool in the center of the compound looks like a serene water feature when in fact it is a lap pool. The plants and butterflies and birds make for a wonderful spot to re-energize your batteries.||||We will be back in the future and will bring our family. This is a perfect place to be outside the city by close enough to visit and travel. The air is less polluted and the noise is minimal unless you don't like the sounds of nature.

Located a bit outside of the centre in a quiet almost rural area this is a small complex of some pool villa’s and a building with rooms. Reception is very friendly. The place is very quiet, the room quite large, looking new, with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast is served at the table, simple but adequate. Good value for money.

Although the hotel is a little far out of Chiang Mai city centre, for this you get a peaceful and tranquil haven and the chance to explore the outskirts of the city. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Rooms finished to a high standard and such a nice pool too! Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and tidy rooms surround a beautiful, lush courtyard. The view out to a magnificent temple from the tropical garden was enchanting. We all enjoyed swimming and relaxing in this peaceful sanctuary only 15 minutes from the old city. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The resort is beautiful and situated outside the city which helps with the silences and tranquility of the resort. The main gate opens up to an endless pool and whether it’s day or night it’s beckoning for one to get in. The resort offers free buffet breakfast - choosing from|Continental or Asian type and it’s ample enough to last you for the morning.|We had an adjoining room and worked out well for a family. |Although knowing we were in an Asian country - the room was always mosquito filled and they are huge buggers ! The UV light was not working for them.|On my last night - which was disappointing- I was bitten by bed bugs ! Tons of bite all over my body!|I showed it to the front desk guy and he didn’t seem to care - which was very disappointing - I would have given this resort a higher ranking
